I brought in the car with a problem, and you guys ran diagnostics, charging me $2,500. The next morning, the car still had the exact same issue. Some services that I didn't request were performed, such as the brakes; I let it go, but I am very disappointed with the technical approach. I will inform Wheels about this, since you are part of their maintenance network, and the company I work for has more than 150 vehicles under Wheels. I brought the car back in today, and I am assuming and expecting that someone will at least drive the car to see what's happening. The $117 charged for diagnostics was, honestly, worth nothing.The attendance at the front door was great on both days, but unfortunately, the most important aspect the core business of technical maintenance was very disappointing. I am right now, awaiting they fix the car, again and once I get back I will make the review of the return.

Dropped car off on Friday evening for service on Saturday. Didn't hear from them until 1PM. They said they need more time and need to take off the top of engine. So we decided on a day where I can leave car with them the entire day since Saturday was already shot from their not getting to the car first thing that day. So I drop it off on Monday night so they have it first thing on Tuesday. Again, 3PM comes and I have not heard from them. So I call to get an update. The person who answers says they haven't looked at it yet. I asked why not? They said because he haven't. A really disrespectful answer. So there was no way it was going to be serviced so I came in and picked up my car. The manager Chuck has real poor communication with his customers and needs to really tighten things up. I gave that location thousands of dollars over 15 years. It is time to move on

Very poor service!! Made an appointment for 9am and left my car for 8:30am. I called around 1pm to see if I can pick up since nobody has called the guy said we haven t got it in yet I asked well should I call back in a hour? He said he ll call me before they close at 5pm. UNBELIEVABLE I made an appointment and still they don t know when they ll get my car in? Should ve gone to bell tires instead.

Highly disappointed with level of service. Had to make multiple trips for the same issue; and each time issue became worse. Very frustrated with inconsistency and lack of understanding on part of personnel. Would recommend other tire retail stores/ vendors. Do not waste your time nor hard earned money when there are some many more efficient operators to choose from.

I would recommend staying away from this place. We took our daughter's Jeep wrangler in for a low tire and oil change. While there, they broke the plastic covering on the wheel and now say they haven't been able to find a replacement. A week and a half later, I noticed her front tire was worn badly so I took it out and realized it was out of alignment (As a tire professional, I would think they would spot this while I had it in there in the first place). I set up the appointment for today (monday) because they were too busy yesterday. I left the vehicle there from 11:30AM until we had to call at 6:30PM (they close at 7PM). Upon us calling them, they said they won't have time to check the alignment and we would have to bring it in another time. One problem I can understand, but all of these added up, as well as the cost of this place, use their service at your own risk, I will definitely not be back!

my appointment is at 10am for a tire alignment..its 11:20 and my S.U.V has not been moved inside...very disappointing,and unprofessional...I am very dissatisfied with the Firestone service in Oswego illinois...

Had to buy a new car. They lost a part of my hub cap which is a sign to me that they are not responsible. A week after I get a full check on my car it breaks down. I will never trust them again. Irresponsible, non professional, careless, bad quality. Absolutely horrendous.

If you re looking for a touchless tire rotation, this is the place to go. I set up an appointment and brought our Chevy van for free tire rotation and alignment(lifetime). They then informed me later that i need some new parts for the alignment to be done to which I said no at that time and just do the rotation. To my surprise they did it within an hour after the appointment time and was ready for pick up. They usually take half a day when they do such. So when I saw the van in their lot, I already knew they did not do the rotation because the dirtier rims/tires are still on the front as they were and I had to confirm that they do the front to the back and vice versa. I made them aware and explained I know they didn t do it because the last time I had something done on it before this was early last for a new brake job and it only makes sense that the front rims are dirtier than the rears due to dust accumulation from rotors and pads. However they still insisted that they did the rotation and mechanic s explanation was some rims are just cleaner than the others. They tried to resolve it by telling me that they will do the rotation again and I made sure that it will be done the same day. I called them half hour before they close and I asked them if it will be done today which they replied yes. Unfortunately, they told me that it wont be done today and I have to set up another time. I expressed my frustration for waisting my time and for lying to me. I was told that a manager will call me the next day but they did not. I decided to come back the next day before they close to prove my point to a shop manager and he agreed with me that tires weren't rotated. It is just inconvenient for me to bring it back again to have it done and no respect for your time. This place do not care anymore unless they make money off of you. This was the first time that it happened to me after years of buying tires from this place. Buyers beware! Make sure they do actually do your rotation if your tires from them comes with free rotation. They could have convinced me if I didn t see the obvious.

Seriously avoid this place! Customer service is laughable. I brought my vehicle in for a week. They gave it back and didn't even look at it and told me to set another appointment. I confirmed that they would have someone look at it so I dropped it off a second time. Guess what, they didn't even look at it again. I set a 3rd appointment, called to confirm the day before (even though they said they would call me and never did) and, guess what. No one can look at the vehicle. The manager and Chuck do nothing but make excuses. Save yourself the headache and time. AVOID THIS PLACE AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.

Had this place change the oil in my truck. A few weeks go by and I notice the oil was leaking, pretty bad too. So I scheduled an appointment at 10am to get that fixed. I bring my truck in, 50 minutes after my appointment time nobody has even looked at the truck yet.The guy at the office tells me sorry he didn t see I had an appointment!!Because I don t have the entire morning to sit at Firestone I have to schedule a THIRD visit for 1 oil change.There s many places to get your oil changed, don t chose this place. Changing oil shouldn t take 3 visits, inexcusable.Service: Oil change

Made an appointment for Sat morning at 9am. Had my van to them at 850. Discussed what I wanted done gabe them the keys and was assured all would be complete by Sunday.Stopped by Sunday because I was in the area. They couldn t locate my keys or work order and the van was in the same place I dropped it off. Lady behind the counter said the van was going in next and would be done today.No phone call over the 2 full work days. I got there just before closing and the van still hasn t moved. Asked the man at the counter for the keys and he asked what they looked like. He couldn t find the work order either. Searched around and grabbed a set of keys. ( which happened to be mine) asked the guys working if these were for the van. And they just said I don t know.Stay away from here. Very poor customer service and apparently weren t going to tell me they weren t going to get to the van again today. The absolute worst customer experience I ve ever had and safely can say this might be the worst Firestone in Chicagoland. I just left this location after 2 and half hours of waiting and no service on a simple break light replacement. I called ahead to ask Firestone if they had a break light for my Civic, and they said yes and it should only be a five minute repair. Upon arrival, they pulled my car behind a pickup truck where I couldn t see it on the floor from the waiting area and no mechanic worked on my car for nearly two hour straight. I was then told the part they said they had needed to be ordered, and after I asked for my car to be pulled so I can take it somewhere else the crew somehow found the part that now needed to be ordered. Other customers around me also complained of various issues, as one lady said she had been dealing with them for five days now. Worst experience in awhile and highly recommend searching out another mechanic before wasting your time at Firestone OswegoService: Electrical repair

Yesterday i took my daughter's car there for an alignment and a guy at the front desk named Chuck was totally rude when my son's mom went to pick it up he was complaining about her license plate sayinghe couldn't see it and asking if she ever bought a sticker for the car that it was junk and he wouldn't put anymore money into it to get rid of it and it wasn't worth putting money into it he was very disrespectful ill never go there again or recommend the place to anyone. I don't believe he even knows how to work on cars.

I went in 3 weeks ago because my drivers window had failed on my 2004 vw beetle convertible, leaving it half way up and not able to go past a certain point. Initially I was weary because I ve had it repaired at a different shop about a year and a half ago for an astronomical price. The initial quote was similar but a little less, so I went ahead and told them to fix it. Though it took a very long time to get my car back due to parts for my car being hard to get, I am extremely pleased. I got a call from chuck today telling me my car was ready and he told me the price and I almost passed out over 400 dollars less than the original quote. This never happens to me, this is the first time in a while I ve been to a shop that I can say I trust. My window is now perfectly aligned, rolls up and down perfectly and does not make any clunking noises that it did when the first repair was done at the other shop.I am beyond thankful for the team at Firestone for helping me with this. Chuck is always nice when I go there, and they are knowledgeable and will always have my business now. Thank you guys so much!!Service: Body & Trim

Jacob did a stellar job of figuring out all that was wrong with my Jeep. Then even recommend not fixing a couple of things right now, but later, to save me some money! Very impressive service from start to finish! I will be back!!

My experience here was less than desired. I had brought my car in after putting it in a ditch this winter and some damage had occurred to the rear end. This was a situation where I filed a claim through my insurance company and the communication and customer service for the way this matter was handled was poor to say the least. Three months later I was still trying to get it sorted out in a back and forth with them and my insurance. Knowing this isn't entirely their fault, I was still unhappy with the repair that was done on my vehicle. They chose not to replace my tire after having replaced the wheel in it's entirety and changed the suspension system in the back. This led to me to having to bring my car back because the tire in question was still losing air. After having this tire replaced, it was still leaking air, so I had to come back to the shop again where they finally apologized for having overlooked a faulty valve stem. For a tire shop, I would think this would be something that should've been addressed much before the vehicle had been returned to me. I will say that the manager, Jonathan, was kind in the process of remedying these issues for me, paying for a rental car while they fixed my car, but I will not be returning here for any future repairs or maintenance.

I tend to dread having to bring my manual car to places to get work done, however I trusted firestone to get an oil change done after they assured me that they could drive manual. I received the car with no more reverse gear and a burnt clutch smell all throughout the car. A short fella named mike had me skeptical right away as I saw him stall the car and he got agitated at me instead of getting another tech to move my car. Will not be returning to ANY firestone after that experience. 0/10

When I went to get a straightforward tire rotation, both of my rear tires went flat and my transmission started making a dreadful noise. After that, I understood that my transmission was damaged and that my transmission mount had broken, causing it to drag across the highway the entire time I was driving home.Service: TiresService: Tires

Had a 3pm appt for oil change and tire rotation. Took almost 2 hrs. I didn't leave until 453pm. Wasn't busy at the time. I have NEVER know a 2hr oil change. I asked was the tech new or something. No apology given. Made me think he did something to my car or didn't know what he was doing. Will just stick with the dealership for now on.

Came in this morning to get an alignment done. Waited around patiently in their nice waiting area. They got back to me in about an hour and 30 minutes telling me the alignment was done.The issue I usually have with getting the wheel alignment done is that although the car will drive straight, the steering wheel can be canted noticeably. When they handed back my keys and I started driving, I felt right away that they leveled my steering wheel. Really happy with the service that I got.

I came to visit family and while I was there my power steering pump broke and was leaking. I took my truck in for them to see what was wrong. No phone calls on what was going on. I had to call and see if my truck was even done. It turned out I needed a whole new hose for my power steering. When I finally was able to pick up my truck I didn t even leave the parking lot and my power steering was completely stuck, the hose burst when I started the truck up. They had to pull it back into the garage for them just to clean it and re attach it. Which I had to wait over an hour for. Paid 300 dollars for something brand new that isn t even fixed cause I m still having problems with my power steering. I recommend you DO NOT take your vehicle here. The fact they were gonna send me off in a winter snow storm with screwed up power steering is absolutely wrong and could have been very dangerous.
