The crew here does a great job from start to finish. They are thorough in their inspections and fair. I also think their communication is great as well! Only downside is there is a lot of metal parts in the driveway to the shop. Could be bad for tires.

Had this shop lower my 2015 Escalade. They were extremely professional, handled the job without issues, and even price matched a quote I had from another shop. Will be returning for any additional jobs. Recommend 10/10, especially the mechanic Jeremy.

I had issues with my car and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I took it in to have it assessed. They replaced the starter for the car and told me the problem was fixed. Comparing prices I have noticed they appear to overcharge for the services they provided me. This wasn't my first time at this location. Repair costs appear to be excessive. When I asked about pricing they appear to not care at all, and only reduced the price with the coupon I gave them. I also noticed they appear to charge more than what the car dealer would charge for the same service. Future customers beware. I would consider alternatives before deciding to go back here for service again.

I had a bad oil leak. I took my car to a few different mechanics, all the other ones were too expensive or were rude. I came to Bartel s and they were extremely nice from the second you walk in. They gave me a free estimate and explained the oil leak to me. They offer a few different options for paying and they are very helpful with payment. They did the work very quickly. Will definitely be back.

The service I received was top notch. Not only did I get a full detail list of what was done to my vehicle when I took it in for service but I was also provided preventative measures to look out for in the future with pictures attached to my email.This was my first and definitely not my last time doing business with Bartel s Auto Clinic. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto service. The staff and technicians were very professional and gave me peace of mind while my vehicle was in service.

The communication about the status of your car has always been phenomenal! They are professional and did the repairs to my car that were needed in a timely matter. Have been going there for years and trust all our family cars there.

Moved so I Went here for an oil change and they noticed I had a trans line leak. Wanted to charge me a lot of money, which didn t feel right so I went to my old mechanic back in Plainfield to see if they found the same issue and give me an estimate, and it was half the price of what Bartels told me. They were nice and had good services, but did not appreciate them encouraging me to spend that much money.

They were so great to work with. They did the work for 1/4 of the cost of the dealer. They took the time to figure out what was actually wrong with my car and only charged me to fix what was needed. I felt like they took very good care of me.

From beginning to end Bartels is superior! Professional. Courteous. Friendly. My car running great, and even got a ride home after drop off. The place is clean and bright. My grandson took his car over the next day and received the same wonderful service. Our family go-to car shop. I really like they are a family owned business.

They reached out to my warranty company in order to move forward with repairs. They kept me updated the whole time my car was in the shop with calls and texts. Friendly staff, good customer service and the car servicing was completed within a reasonable timeframe. They also have free local shuttle service if you have to leave your car overnight (drop off and pick up).

Before I get started, I had no work done on my car. I brought it in to have the check engine light checked. Long story short there was an expensive repair that needed to be done. The gentleman asked if I had a warranty which I did and he took it from there, which was way more than he had to do. I will for sure be bring my car in for future work. The customer service was fantastic.

Bartel s comes through again! I ve been taking my car to Bartel s for a little over four years. Since my very first visit I ve been treated with respect and total honesty. I ve even brought my car in thinking I needed to have something fixed and was told the situation was fine and did NOT need any repairs. Who does that? My family and I have taken our vehicles to other shops for repairs and without fail they eventually said we needed repairs that were not necessary. Bartel s is 100% honest and will work with you so you can afford the repairs you DO need. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

I received an extremely high quote for a water pump repair. Quote was $4000 for a car with 200k. I m a woman and they were trying to take advantage of me and are extremely unprofessional. After complaining they kept lowering the quote but would have taken my $4000 if they had a chance. Do your research like I did. Took my car to a different honest place for way less.

Attempted to use a local family owned shop to support small business. They were wildly overpriced. I had to deny the $2000 service they suggested saying I only could afford $1500. They suggest 1650 still said no then they were magically at 1498. Returned my car with no coolant so I had no heat for 2 days until after the holiday when I could get ahold of them. I added my own coolant after they suggested I needed another $500 fix for my substantial leak that mysteriously started with them. Never had an issue with coolant or heat until they had my car. They also wanted $600 for rear axle break job. It s a shame a local company is ripping off their own community. You can get the same work at other local shops for 1/2 the price without the pushy salespeople shaming you. However, they do offer a shuttle service within 10 miles which is beneficial and nice.

I was very impressed with the detail they went through to find ALL the problems that were wrong with my vehicle. A little pricey but worth the money for my piece of mind. I was in town to visit family and needed to leave no later than Saturday morning. My car started acting up Thursday afternoon. I called Bartel's and they were able to squeeze me on on Friday.My experience was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My car hasn't run this good in weeks!I wish there was a Bartel's in Georgia!

If I could give Bartel's more than 5 stars I would The people there are very helpful & friendly. I will be going there for all my vehicle repairs from now on. I can tell they really care for their customers. They really impressed me.

They are just great! Justin helped me out with getting things figured out with warranty information and contacted Nissan to verify all updates on warranty. I have used Bartel's on a number of occasions and their professionalism is too notch!

I've been getting services done here for the last few years and it's always been good work with good service. I trust the staff and appreciate how communicative everyone is and willing to answer all my questions. I take my car and have suggested friends and family do the same. They also have had a good experience. From maintenance like oil changes to issues, this is my go-to shop.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Air conditioning, Oil change

Such a hassle to get a simple pad and rotor replaced, had to drive back 3 times to get the warning message issue in the panel solved, spent more than two hours waiting for something they told me that would take 30min, and still once they said the car was ready, the issue was still there, I feel like they didn t know what they were doing or didn t inspect the car after the service. Not the best cost benefit at all.

I'm very unhappy with my service, I drive my vehicle everyday and try to take good care of it. I came in for a oil change and tire rotation & balance. While there I was shown my passenger side control arm was bad. I've never experienced any wobble or the feeling of my car pulling to one side until after my service. So today I'm getting the control arms removed and replaced at another shop. The shop calls me and says my lug lock key is broken. I've been to Bartels many times before but this time was very disappointing.

We had a tire blowout on a Saturday while on vacation and had to be towed. Bartel s found 4 new tires for us and got them changed within 24 hours on a weekend! Very professional and efficient!!

I love going to Bartels! Everyone is so kind and helpful they never make me feel like a burden or that I m dumb haha thank you to the whole team! This was my first time at the Plainfield location Mike made me feel very comfortable when I booked my appointment and while dropping my car off! Shout out to Cyrus for driving me to work even if it was super close! thanks to Trevor for calling and letting me know what s covered under my warranty and taking care of that portion for me!! Great experience every time! :)

I had the WORST experience with these people, They had my vehicle from January 20th until March 29th, 2024 . They did repairs on my BMW and while using my vehicle as a shuttle ride the SUV died on them they had to get it towed back to their shop. And now they don t want to take responsibility, this all happened in their care of my vehicle. The engine locked up while they had the vehicle and I m forced to take further action because they won t own up to the damage they ve caused!!!!!!

Bartels was extremely helpful when my car died. They were very communicative with me through the process, letting me know the progress of my car and explaining what the issues were. They got the job done and had my car available for me to pick up that night. Staff was very friendly in a time of stress. Ian was awesome!

Took my 2017 Trax to Bartel's for an oil change. Was very impressed with how I was treated. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I will be returning for all of my car repair needs.

I was charged 35.00 and Change for the oil change and that's with the 10.00 off coupon. I had always paid around 22-23.00 with tax with the monthly coupons they send to me every month for years. I was shocked! I don't think I will be going back there for my oil changes again. I'll check around for pricing in the area.And that's not to mention the bad service I received on my prior visit. I don't like when garages feel like they can take or try and take advantage of women when they come in alone. Honesty and Integrity is expected and appreciated always.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Oil change
