Slow and dishonest service. You re better off going to Midas or express lube near by. I ve been to this pep boys three times, I ve been price gouged and sold things I don t need the first two, and the third time I came in around 1pm with nobody in the waiting room and half the mechanics hanging around the shop. Still took over an hour to do my oil change on a 2015 Altima. It only Takes 10 minutes and that s including lifting the vehicle. Still nice enough to charge me over $100 for it too. Not to mention the noise from the construction rattling your brain the entire time they take their time on your vehicle. Here s a photo of customers covering their ears

Steve provided the very best customer service! He was very courteous, efficient and trustworthy.I have only taken my vehicle to Pep Boys in Orland Park, IL. and no where else. They strive to provide the very best for me as a customer.The staff of Steve, Mike and Justin provided the best service to make sure my car is in great shape.The staff and their work are EXCELLENT!

Came here in February 2024 for a complete brake job and spent over $1500. It was fine when I left. But why did my brake light come on a month later, and I'm fearing for my life every time I press the brakes? Since my vehicle is out of warranty, I took it to the dealership, thinking that was the issue...because it couldn't possibly be that a business that I spent over $1500 with didn't do their job, right? Turns out they didn't do the job I paid them to do in February and had to do it RIGHT in April. I do not recommend anyone bringing their vehicle to this location for anything. Especially if you are a woman. Corporate will be getting a call about this. Because I could have been in a serious accident or worse due to their negligence.

I can't trust mechanics and repair shops, the whole industry is full of scams because they know damn well we know nothing about cars. They make up problems and exaggerate issues in your car in order to squeeze every dime out of you. I ended up paying more than I should have because they can't be honest with me about what I REALLY need versus what I can bypass. The proof is that I was at another shop and was told a totally different thing (the previous shop being the honest one because they told me not to waste money on misc. things).The people at Pep Boys suffer from pokerfaces, so you can't even read them: no professionalism, cheery demeanor..just a blank face whenever you talk to them. It seems like they taught themselves to intentionally be this way..

Made appointment for 9 a.m. but told after driving all the way out there have to leave at least4 hr. Wait 5 cars ahead. What good is an appointment . Just the whole ordeal as soon as I started talking to guy at desk was not pleasant

The rim was dented on the tire allowing air to escape. We went to Jerry and the problem was able to be fixed without even taking the tire off...few minutes later, problem was fixed...no charge, ...Jerry andMike here are honest gentlemen giving pep boys a good name.would come back for sure!

I always bring my car's to Pep Boys for mechanical repairs and I just recently purchased for Kumho tires for my car it was done in a reasonable amount of time at a fair price buy 3 get 1 free.... I highly recommend. Jerry the service writer was very kind and helpful

Was very efficient and timely. Was honest with diagnosis and recommendations. Easy to schedule online, check in and out. Only knock was that I went in for tire losing air. They replaced tire but it's still slowly losing air, they are good about honoring warranty work so I'm not worried and still recommend

I went to them and asked for brakes to be checked out as they were making a noise they told me everything is good. Literally after a week i had to put rotors with pads. Yesterday i went again for alignment. They gave me a quote for 1800$+ for parts and labor. I went to belle tires right accross the street. They were not only cheaper and did the job and also assured me nothing is wrong with suspension system and nothing needs to be replaced.

Paid $800 for tires. The amount of glue left on my tires AND rims looked like a 2nd grade art project. Decent sale on my tires so I figured I'd try pep boys but will never go back after the glue splattered all over.

I visited this location on Monday to have my vehicle checked for nosey suspension . I was informed I need front struts. And that the part had to be ordered from the Chevy dealer. I arrived the following day to complete the repairs . After waiting 2 hours I was informed that they could not complete the job because the master mechanic could not compress the struts . ( sorry have a nice day ) how it was a waist of time to vist it this location. 2 days spent on getting nothing done !

They have fixed my car a few times, no issues with their service. Prices are fair i guess. Labor charges are ridiculous anywhere imo. So overall not a bad place. If there ever was an issue with their service, I'm sure it would be easier to get issue resolved compared to a small mechanic.

First time going to Pep Boys and they did not disappoint! My daughter's car was way overdue for an oil change. After calling several places I called Pep Boys and spoke with Mike. He told me to bring the car in but said he would try and get it done today (New Year's Eve) or tomorrow. i was calling last minute so for him to see us the same day was much appreciated. The car was done in less than 2 hours! Mike was awesome and well as his staff!!! Super friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Pep Boys!!

Always they are the best. I have multiple cars. Whenever I brought my cars to their workshop, they told me exactly the problem was and corrected the problem in timely manner. I have few problems that car dealership gave me wrong information corrected by Pepboys. Great experience and customer service is excellent.

My experience was amazing!!! Mike is an awesome manager!! THE MAN DESERVES A RAISE! Pep boys has to know when they have a great employee on their hands and mike is just that! The rest of the staff was friendly as well. Got me in and out in a timely manner!! 5 stars from me!
