I had two cars that made noticeable sounds when driving them. I put off bringing them in for repairs.I historically used car dealership, but my last few experiences were not good (old dealership was bought out by a new one and the costs/repairs/recommendations were not what I was used to and I didn't have a "good" feeling).I finally had time to bring them to get them looked at. JNJ was referred by my brother-in-law, and I also checked extensive repair shops and reviews online. I contacted JNJ via their web page form on Sunday night before Thanksgiving. Even though they were closed on Mondays, I received a email response Monday with a diagnostic appointment for both cars. After coordinating over email to confirm my desired time, I brought in both cars on the Wed. before Thanksgiving. They were very customer oriented and performed a quick check of both cars. While they recommended that I leave both cars to be safe, I asked them if I could drive one (kids coming home). Based on their experience (had idea of the problems), they provided me with the pros/cons, and I left one there and drove one home (my own decision). After Thanksgiving - Friday, they called me and told me that the repair (timing belt) was done and allowed me to swap cars. Several days later, they repaired my second car (wheel bearings). The estimates were within the range that they originally gave me (higher end of estimate) and they explained what they found and repaired (detailed cost justification). I had also researched what the average price was for both repairs in advance, and they were within the local industry range. I felt that they were honest with me, bend over backwards to meet my schedule/needs, and did not attempt to "sell" me other services. Also, nothing else was broken once I picked up the cars and no selling of additional services. I also gave them an appropriate tip as I felt that they went above and beyond for me. By the way, other than telling them that I needed one car, I did not expect such quick turnaround on both cars or demand it. Their business hours list 9 am to 6 pm. I came by around 8 pm (had remote key) to pick up my car, and the shop was still open/people working. It seems like they work hard to get the work done for folks as quickly as possible.It has been several weeks and both cars are still driving flawlessly! I will definitely use them again and have told my friends and family. I don't usually write reviews, but because they were so quick and helpful during the holidays, I wanted to share my joy and appreciation. Now that I found an honest car repair service, I am looking for an honest handyman for my house :)

OJay was great. Identified the issue and and clearly explained what should be fixed and options for replacements or upgrades. You can tell in his explanation that he s knowledgeable and that it is honest feedback and pricing. Went to JNJ with what I thought was going to be an extremely expensive engine issue. Ojay is fantastic. He diagnosed the problem and was able to service the car same day. He went above and beyond letting me know what the issue was, why it happened, and information about the make/model and when issues tend to arise and what to do in the next 25K and 50K miles. There were no pushy sales. He fixed the issue and charged a great price that was very clearly listed in a pricing document that he had behind the counter. Also had his team provide me quotes on other future services so that I'm aware before calling on what they typically charge.I have already told about 10 people about JNJ Auto in the last 24 hours since I was blown away by the service. Wish I found him years ago.

Oscar and the JNJ team have been absolutely great to work with. They provide quality work at reasonable prices. They are honest, very knowledgeable, and take time to ensure the customer is happy. I recommend scheduling in advance. When you are as good as JNJ, spots fill quickly but you know the job will get done right. I will be sure to return the next time I need service on my cars and will be a regular moving forward.Service: Engine repair

I stopped in to get brakes and rotors done on my Optima. Ojay inspected and advised I didn t need to replace back rotors. They gave me an estimate on cost before any work was done. Quality work at a fair price. I will be back.

It s really hard to find honest mechanics these days that do great work and charge a fair price to perform the work. JNJ s mechanics are true craftsman. When I take my vehicles to the shop they always ask detailed questions and take the time to listen. I always get my vehicles back operating like they should and driving better than I brought it to them. The prices have increased for just about every industry since COVID 19 and JNJ has managed to keep their prices very affordable. Now I understand why they are always busy. There are not too many mechanic shops I can say I d recommend but JNJ is definitely the my mechanic shop of choice. I highly recommend you trust them with your next mechanical service needs. All of my family relatives and friends now use them since for over 8 years and running. We've been bringing our 2 cars at JNJ for 4years now and they kept our vehicle well maintained making it running smoothly. Getting every miles worth with our cars. Best auto repair shop , worth driving to their shop for all our vehicles maintainance even though they are located about 45mins away from me. My parents had to have their battery replaced. My niece had gone to them and said the service and the people were extraordinary. My parents took the car in the appointment was at 11 and the car was taken promptly. The price the service the people could not have been nicer. They will definitely be taking the car for all future work to his business, my mother had to have her hip replaced recently and they bring the car to the door so you don t have to walk to the parking lot or a building to get the car great people highly recommend taking your car to them

Excellent service! Took my mom s car to get a power trans valve replaced. He was able to get my car in within a few days of me calling. I dropped my car off in the morning and was picking it up by early evening. And it was very affordable. I have found my new mechanic and will definitely be sending everyone his way. JNJ is amazing! The service is friendly, fast, and top notch. Ojay is the best and super knowledgable - I went in for new transmission and engine mounts, he explained exactly what was going on with my car, and I had my vehicle back the same day. Excellent service... highly recommend. Our 2008 Corolla is in generally very good condition for a 13-year-old car; nevertheless it was beginning to run a little rough and overall starting to show its age since it had been a while since we had last brought the car in for a thorough maintenance (which costs big $$$ at any typical Toyota dealer). Thus, upon recommendation of others, we brought our Corolla to JNJ for overdue overall maintenance and engine tune-up. JNJ did not disappoint... they completed all the work on time and our Toyota runs so much smoother than before. As I write this, it's been about a month since we had the car serviced and still performing great. Again, we are very happy with the service at JNJ and will not hesitate to bring our Corolla back there again in the future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

JNJ is amazing! I called on Wednesday when the check oil light came on in my wife's car. They were able to get us in the next day and quickly figured out the issue. Oj has been my mechanic since the late 90s. He is honest,dependable and a mechanic that can fix any brand of Japanese cars and many European brands as well. With Oj I know I'm getting the best service,the best price and none of the bs. Oj is the best all around mechanic I know. I had a service on my Chrysler 2015 last July 27 for rotors and brake pads changed and gear transmission fluids changed. Today 8/4/22 I had my Toyota 2015 for rotors and brake pads changed and my brake fluids changed and fixed. This Mechanic is GREAT! JNJ is very ethical and reliable shop. I always had a great experience with them. OJ is honest, trustworthy and reasonable. Plus, OJ is an expert. He has taken care all of our vehicles for the past 8 years. Not once we ever had an issue with him. He has always gone above and beyond. I used to do a thorough research before I take my car to a mechanic for certain problems that I can t handle. If he does not give me a good explanation, I leave and get a second opinion. Did it for almost 20 years.Now I just leave my car like Day care. OJ is straightforward with his diagnostics. What he says is wrong is the one he ll fix. He will call if there are other issues which do happen since cars are comprised of multiple functioning parts/system. Nothing hidden or extra. His prices are fair.I always leave satisfied that s why I just pass other mechanic shops on my way to OJ. South Suburbs and need car repair?The guys are top notch - most importantly, they're honest. Don't get swindled at one of the big chains.JNJ will treat you right and are focused on quality of work.My story in summary involving manual clutch - lets just say I was quoted at cost points two-three times higher (likely less quality install) from the chain stores in general area, getting rolled over coal.Contacted JNJ and spoke with OJ (this guy knows his stuff), the price he gave me is the price I paid and the vehicle drives like new. Knowledge relative to different makes/models of vehicles and related repairs is unmatched. Ojay is fantastic. The best description, that even another reviewer mentioned, is transparency. I came in for hub assembly replacement and he was professional. He detailed his work, doesn t beat around the bush, and even takes the time to talk/listen to you as a person. This is the type of mechanic folks should be supporting to keep in the area.I ll be coming back for any more repairs that pop up. I ll be recommending friends and family.

I visited JNJ Complete Auto Repair on February 14th 2020. They were able to quickly diagnose my car s problem (every time I hit the brakes, my car would make a grinding sound). I needed the rear brake pads and rotors replaced. He also let me know my front brake pads and rotors would need to be changed soon. They were very honest about what needed to be fixed and what could wait to be fixed. They did not pressure me into getting the front ones fixed, they just recommended that they would need to be replaced soon. Their pricing was fair, and the mechanic showed me the problem so I knew exactly what was being fixed. I am not very knowledgeable about cars so I appreciated that. The waiting time was not long at all, they had my car ready by the next business day (I dropped it off late afternoon). I recommend paying with check or cash so you don t have to pay the credit card fee, which is not a lot but it ll save you some money if you can. After leaving there with my car, the grinding sound has since stopped and I haven t had any issues with my brakes. Their service was very efficient, friendly, and fair!

Ojay is a true professional. He took on my Mercedes issue while I was having car issues out of town in a desperate situation when the Mercedes of Orland Park wouldn't.
