Very Bad experience at this place. Very Rude and definitely do not care about you. They charged me $590 for my daughter's car being there since Saturday after they closed for the weekend. When i went to pick up the vehicle, They charged me another $150 to tow the car directly across the street because they would not let the tow company who came to tow the car out because they didn't have "worker comp insurance" Very unprofessional workers there! I never leave bad reviews but please avoid this place at any cost, or it will cost you!

They used to be good but now they suck! I had them tow my hot rod ( 55 Chevy) a few times from my house to the shop I take it to for repairs which is 4 miles away. The price was always around $110 with no added mileage. Today my 55 broke down in a traffic lane 1/2 block from my house.The driver got out with an attitude accusing me of saying I was blocking an intersection. Then he told me the tow would cost $150 plus $4 a mile. I questioned him about the price and he said his boss raised the price! He told me that if I don t want to pay the price he will leave and I can find another towing company! Since I was blocking a traffic lane I just agreed to the price. He was hooking up the car with metal chains and hooks so I asked him to use the soft straps that don t cause any damage to the car. He replied that he doesn t use the soft straps and if I don t like the way he was hooking up my car he will leave and I can find somebody else to tow my hot rod! Seeing is that I was still in the traffic lane I told him to just hook it up! I will NEVER use AutoMedics Towing again!!!

Last night i was pulled from a ditch due to the icy roads the sheriff wouldnt let me call my own tow company stating i had to use this Horrible company joe H is a horrible worker with a very bad attitude was using foul language towards me the entire time. He told me to pay him 180 to get pulled out and i told him i had another company willing to do it for 150 but again the sheriff said i had to use this company because they wouldnt allow anyone else to come down the road. so i was forced to use this company even after i paid joe H the 180 he started to use foul language against me to sign the paperwork stating if any damage occurred on my vehicle the company wouldn t be liable so i refused due to the fact i wasn t allowed by the sheriff to call another company only had to use auto medics. After both sheriff and tow truck driver kept pushing me and yelling at me to sign the paper work i did, after i signed joe H started to say he was going to take my 180$ payment and impound my vehicle for abandonment and charge me towing fee and lot fees, he only stopped after he seen i was recording the entire situation and pulled my vehicle to the edge of the ditch and i had to reverse carefully away from the ditch so i wouldn t go in again I would highly recommend using any other company besides this one horrible service and overpriced

Just a bunch of uneducated, ignorant, nonhelpful losers to form a very incompetent business.They don't know towing from rowing.You can tell there is no dental plan established here for employees. How they maintain significant others with grills like that is as much a mystery as the Bermuda Triangle!

11/11/2023 4:10pm, a young tow truck driver blocking the traffic and being very rude to not let ppl go fist and forcing both sides of the traffic to wait.The young driver even honked and intimidated other drivers on the road.PLEASE talk to this driver and coach this bad behavior, he almost created a collision!!!

Horrible place to deal with. They towed my car on Friday and we re closed all weekend. They had a 24 hour phone service outsourced to a third party and could not help at all. Phone system was entirely down Monday morning and I was unable to call in advance to see what I needed. When I finally got ahold of someone they told me they took debit card. They did not take my debit card and made me walk 40 minutes to get cash. If they had answered the phone to give me the price and what I need to bring so could have brought cash with me. They also charged me for 3 days of storage fees even though they were closed and I was unable to get my vehicle out. They initially said they would take my debit card and made me walk to get cash after I complained about paying storage fees for 3 days when they were closed and I wanted to get my vehicle out but couldn t. I do not recommend using this company for any service they provide based off of the unavailability of the staff for 4 days Friday - Monday morning to answer basic questions about what I need to get my vehicle out. Stay away from this company they are rude vindictive and only out for as much money as they can take from you.Service: Special vehicle towing

The flatbed operator that showed up to tow my car after the accident was really nice and knew what he was doing. He wasn t reckless with my car when loading it onto the flatbed. The staff at the tow yard was also nice when I had to sign off my car. I would highly recommend this tow company to anyone.

I had a great experience with Auto Medics! Got into an unfortunate accident and I was very shook up and very upset, but the driver Joe who picked up the car was a very nice young man and auto medics took care of everything and did a fantastic job! Close on weekends to purposely charge you storage fees with absolutely nothing you can do about it. Will refuse to take debit cards and make you walk to the bank for cash. Very unprofessional and unethical

They are the best around so far!! And they aren't as expensive as everyone else. I needed belts for driving/steering. I called around and got quotes. They quoted $200 - $400 cheaper then others. They are very busy. Be patient!!

I had mytires rotated before a trip. On the way home my wheel almost fell off. 2 of the studs broke off on the highway at a 70 mph speed limit. The other wheel had 3 loose bolts. Lucky we could find a service station in q small town. I will not come back after years of going to this place. We could have been killed if the tire came off. I called over there no apology and no offer to reimburse me for my expenses.

I called in to get a new tow receipt due to an error the driver made and was told by the women who answered the phone no before I could even explain why. I processed to explain my reasoning and she just laughed at me. horrible customer service and definitely will not be using this company in the future.

Take your business elsewhere, not only are they rude and unprofessional (every word out of their mouth is inappropriate), the worst tow company in town!! The receptionist can't even calculate, and the manager shouldn't even be near a vehicle, since he has no concept of any automotive knowledge, and doesn't want to be bothered to do his job. They should close this place down, beware and go give your business elsewhere, and also they like to steal the items out of your vehicle! They should be called AutoMorons, who can't tow, can't calculate, can't speak to customers, save yourself the headache, the reviews were correct, they are horrible place to do business with!!

We love auto medics.wonderful family owned auto buisness. Jeff and his crew are honest. They get the job done right..very reasonable and fair. They have free loaner cars.. even when we have had to have our cars towed..they are there on time and with a great attitude!! They treat costumers with respect and truly value there costumer .highly recoomend auto medics

Absolutely the best and most honest car repair shop around. Mechanic goes above and beyond and quotes are always less than other places. I took 1 of our cars here on a friend s recommendation and now we take all our cars here! I can not understand the bad reviews?? Staff is always polite and knowledgeable. I ve been taking car here for 3 years and would highly recommend this shop to anyone and have.

This place is the best! We had an emergency and needed them to reload our trailer late in the afternoon. They came in Asap and they did not overcharge us. I highly recommend using this company

My truck broke down in Elmhurst,IL and I saw a tow truck driver towing another truck. I asked the driver how much did they charge to tow from Elmhurst to Shorewood. He told me $115. per hr. and it would take 3 hrs to hook , drive, and drop. He also stated don t used the local tow company because they are rip off s. So I called for the tow at 12:48pm and the dispatch said the drive was NOT back to the yard !He was still dropping the truck I saw him pickup. But she will call him to come and get me . At approximately 2:15pm a tow truck pulls up and it s a different driver. So I called and asked again how much was this going to cost me. And dispatch Jennie said if the driver told you 115 then that s what it would be, I don t know why he told you that but ok . So the new driver Steve hooked my truck and took it to Shorewood. We arrived there at about 4:15 he he was waiting for someone to tell him where to drop. Finally he dropped my truck and gives me a bill for $591. I called dispatch at 4:44pm. And now it s the driver picked the ticket at 1:00 and it s now 5pm and you have to pay 10% for fuel and pay tolls . When I talked to the driver Steve he informed me that he left the office and went to Bolingbrook to switch trucks and it took him 20min to get to me from there! So now I feel that you are charging me for time the driver wasn t in route to me. So after arguing back and forth the bill was $517. I called the next day with a clear head to find out all of the details and talk to the person I first talked to , and what do you know . Jennie wanted to fast talk me and yell saying what do you want we gave you a discount Horrible customer service and a lot of hidden fees. I should only pay for the 20 mins from Bolingbrook 1:55pm to 4:45 and another 30min for him to get back to the yard. Total of 3hr 20 mins /3 1/2 hrs3.5 hr = 402.75Gas10%=40.25Tolls=. 20.00Total = 462.75

Don t trust this company. Look at their reviewers. They have people that are posting 5 star reviews for themselves and giving all other towing companies in Orland 1 star. This is slander. Hurting companies they don t do business with to boost their ratings. If they are willing to hurt competitors by lying, imagine how they will lie to you to get your dollar. Integrity is everything in business and they have none.I m sure the Professional Towing and Recovery Operators of Illinois (PTROI) has something in their bylaws about falsely attacking competitors.UPDATE: I didn t say it was your employees. Why would you?

Someone asked me the other day if they should bring thier car to Auto Medics and it brought back horrible memories. That's why I'm here. The office and staff is unprofessional, and the mechanics guessed while replacing multiple parts. I left with an undrivable car, but I was still charged time and labor. Very unfair. I took my car to another mechanic and it was fixed the same day. Don't be surprised with the owners snarky reply to this review. It's his MO

This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with, not to mention the horrible customer service you receive entering the doors of this place or on the phone. Unlike some of these posts, I wasn't arrested. The owner's son Jeff backed into my car when he went to tow it and is giving me a hard time paying to have it repaired because I didn't want him to do it! Hey Jeff, I can choose who I want to fix my car-IT'S THE LAW!!! You might be making it a hassle for me now, but I will have who I want to repair it. Run far away, as fast as you can from this company......Oh and never trust a company who says 'paying with cash is out of safety reasons' -Outdoor Adrenaline should come inside perhaps. Obviously he's related to these guys lol

I wouldn t trust anyone else with my auto maintenance. The staff was incredibly friendly and never tried to sell me on doing extra work. The guys who tow do a great job and are onnscene right away to help out.

DO NOT GO THERE OR GET TOWING SERVICE FROM THIS PLACE!!! Very rude and unprofessional people. I was told something else over the phone and when I got there they changed their story. Owner was very rude and demanded cash only because I asked why the bill was so high. They charged me for the weekend when they are not even open on the weekends and I couldn't even pick the car up on Saturday. Save yourself trouble and get service from some other place.

These guys are in business only because of they have the Orland Park P.D. connection forcing you to tow with them if you get arrested.Avoid them and with someone like E.R. or local company better pricing and service.

Joe and Jeff towed back my classic car for me! Will definitely use them again! Very reliable!
