My family has been going to Tony for years and I wouldn t take my cars anywhere else. Whether it s my daily driver (Subaru Crosstrek), my food truck (diesel Freightliner), or my 4x4 van.. they ALWAYS get the job done and do it right. Extremely knowledgeable techs that are very communicative. Make the right decision and take your car to Illinois Auto!

I've been going here for years. Started with tires. Obviously I was looking for the best deal. Tony was honest, knowledgeable, and up front. Do your homework too and you'll see you cannot find better. Since that 1st time I've been back over the years for brakes, tires, belts, alternator, and other light work. Tony's honesty, fair pricing, and work that has always fixed the problem the first time keeps me going back! Thank youTony!

Went in today thought I was going to need new rear tires,but had a leaky seal. Tony the owner was a super sweet guy,I will definitely use them again . The place was like a museum old toys,bikes,tools, carriages,. Thank you Tony

Hands down the coolest tire shop I have been to. Great, fast service and very reasonable price on used tires. Would definitely recommend checking this shop out for your tire needs (or just to look at all the cool antiques)!

Put 4 new tires on my grandson's car, very nice to deal with, job was done in under 1 hour. Very happy with them. Highly recommended.

This place is awesome. Had an off the wall camper tire that I desperately needed. Tony was very friendly and helpful. The place is like a museum with tons of cool relics. Had a great lounge area with a tv. I was sad that it only took 15 minutes to replace the tire, which was also awesome. Proud to support a true mom and pop shop. Keep these places alive America!

I would absolutely recommend Illinois Auto Repair and Tire to any and everyone. Tony is a great guy and is always willing to help in any way he can. He does GREAT work and really just goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done correctly and always at a reasonable price! I m very grateful to know my vehicle is in good hands when i take it there.

I would not recommend this place. I had many people tell me bad things about this place and figured it wasn't fair to make assumptions based off other people but I guess I was wrong. He tries to make everything sound like he is giving you a deal but even after he gives you his half off deal it is still overpriced. Everything about this place seems misleading.

Tony is always my go to place to fix any of my cars. Been living out here for the past 6 years and that's who I've always went to and will continue. He takes great care of his customers! Totally recommend!

Went to the shop to get work done on my car. Thought I needed a front end alignment, but Tony, showed me that my front tires were in a dangerous state , very unsafe, thanks to him, he prevented a major accident and possibly a death. I owe him my life, Tony is a great person.

I have had numerous dealings with this shop and I can t express how nice it is to have a mechanic like Tony in town. He is always very honest and up front about repairs and cost. I highly recommend this shop for tires and auto repairs!

I had a flat tire outside of Oregon. I called this shop. No answer, but I received a call back right away. After the tow truck arrived, I was back on the road quickly. Excellent service and excellent price.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter hit a patch of gravel and went into the ditch. Damaging her front tire. Because her mom and my daughter were so shook up the sheriff placed the call for them to have the vehicle towed. Even though it was not an emergency situation he said because the sheriff made the call he can automatically charge $355 for a tow that was less than 5 miles from his shop. Tony acted like he was doing me a favor for reseating a tire for free. I d rather of been charged the $20 for the tire fix that overcharging $275 for the tow. When I called him out on his scam he said the bill was already paid and what am I going to do about it? Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Hands down the worst place I ever took my car to. I went there because my check engine light came on, & every time I put gas in my car my car would not start. They didn't give me my car back for almost 2 weeks. I paid $600 for a cylinder that they said was going bad. 3 days after i got my car back my check engine light went back on & guess what, my car still didn't start when I put gas in it. I don't know what they fixed but they sure didn't fix the problem. I don't know how places like this stay in business. This place will scam you, & fix things that don't need to be fixed so you will have to bring the car back to them to fix the problem with the car that you originally brought the car to them to get fixed in the first place. STAY AWAY!!!!

Absolutely one of the coolest tire shops I've ever been in my entire life.(43 yr old) Its incredible the collection of antiques and history he has around the place. And the customer service is top notch. The whole experience was something that I'll remember :-) that might sound dramatic. But I dare you to go to the tire shop and look around then talk to them and not feel like your welcome. I believe it was the owner's son that said to me as long as you're happy in what you do then you're different type of millionaire. So true.

Excellent service, kind folks, and saved me a pretty penny! Went in with an initial estimate of $360, the kind folks were able to knock it down to $217. Highly recommend!

Was coming back from a road trip and my car spun out during the snow storm and hit a snowbank nearby. Within 15min Antoni responded to my tow request and was able to get my car out without any damage and on my way! I was super impressed with the speed and knowledge, and very lucky they were nearby so I didn't add to my already long trip. Highly recommend!

Tony went above and beyond to help me with a complicated warranty issue. He made all the arrangements for me, even made the appointment with a dealer. He did all of this knowing that he would not receive anything monetary for it due to warranty work having to be done by a dealer. I have always been happy with them but this goes to show how far he will go to make a customer happy! Thank you Tony and team!

Needed a valve stem replacement. Already had the tire off the truck and brought it in. Got it done the same day. The guys in the shop were nice and the people in the office were friendly. Price was reasonable. I would use their services again.

Tony and Illinois Auto Repair can handle it all from small to major repairs. Great deals on tires too, and they even did some specialized work on my 4-wheel RV recently. Quick, honest, and efficient.

I had a delivery truck blow 2 tires on the road outside of Oregon, IL 40 miles from our home office. There were no tow trucks in the area which were large enough to tow my truck into a tire shop so Tony came out in his own pickup truck with a jack and tools, took the wheels off the truck, put new rubber on them back at his shop, and brought them back out to our delivery truck on the side of the road. Absolutely excellent service. If we were closer geographically he would have earned the tire and repair business of my entire fleet.

Do not use this place. Wish someone had told me this. He is a smooth talker, but beware. Price gouger, bad customer service and a liar.He should be shut down. I would be happy to explain further! Drove my car without my permission, gave me back my car more damaged than when I took it in. Told me I needed major repairs and a second opinion showed me that he was just taking advantage of a single woman. Don't be fooled like I was. Another mechanic told me that this guy is what gives mechanics a bad rap.
