They never explain to me any of the follow-up work that I needed done. They also say they were going to tell me why my service engine light was on and they did not. They also gave me a summary for a new tires but no one explained

I have been going to Firestone for 3 cars in my family not only for new tires, but for car repair. I always have had very friendly service. Every staff member I Have spoke to has been very nice, helpful, patient in their explanation and knowledgeable. It is really comforting to have a mechanic so close to my house, open on weekends and trustworthy. I highly recommend!

Robert Thomas was very professional! He handled present customers and customers that were calling very well.He was thorough and knowledgeable of the sales. He had no problem breaking things down for me. He was very patient and I was internally grateful because he didn't know but I had had a rough week and that morning I was very barely holding on.This type of patience is more important that some people know:)

Robert helped me throughout my tire replacement task today from beginning to end. He was honest and communicative throughout the process. I was mostly impressed by his ability to remain calm and composed while the phone was ringing non-stop for appointment requests and folks coming into the store for requests and walk-ins. I will definitely return to this vendor and location.

The Firestone staff are responsible and respectable. However, I'm disappointed the Bridgestone extended warranty with SilverRock is worthless! The items listed under coverage is equal to me visually experiencing a shooting star 10 feet away. SilverRock warranty doesn't cover anything.Very unsatisfied costomer!

We have used the Oak Park Firestone location for many many years. We have always received what we feel is honest and thorough service. They explain the mechanics of issues with us and make sure we understand what they are doing or recommending.

Went in for a tire balance. When I picked up my van one hub cap was broken and the 3 others were missing the center caps. Spoke to the manager Migual about the situation and he said he would be ordering me a new set. It's been 2 weeks since he said he was ordering them. I've called 3 times since then to get an update and he puts me on hold and says he will have to get back to me but he never gets back to me. I'm sure he's busy but how about making customers feel like their a priority and following through on making things right?I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone needing tire service.

Worst service ever total rip off thru tried to sell me new rotors and breake pads due to a squeak on the brakes. Said they were worn down. I literally had them replaced 6 months prior. They just needed to get cleaned. These guys are scam artists to the largest degree.Do NOT use them. Lots of other reputable places.

I'm sorry but I have to edit my review. The place is clean, employees friendly, but almost $1300 for a radiator, upper and lower hoses and a cap at $140 an hour labor is not right, my front tag was sitting in. the drivers seat! My front bumper and headlight were damaged. I had my van towed and paid $440 for all they wanted to do. Labor for my Tesla model X is not that high, or my 2021 Mercedes 600, I'm going to ask for an investigation into this practice and Covid cant be a reason for the charges.

Wait time was not as promised, unfortunately. I was told my car would be ready 2-2.5 hours after my 11am drop off, but it was not ready until over 4 hours after drop off. I checked in regularly and was eventually promised the car at 4 hours, which still did not happen. I know this is not the fault of the staff at the counter, who were polite and helpful, but I would have much preferred to have been told up front that it would have taken over 4 hours for the tire and oil change. A discount was offered, which I really appreciated.

Robert was very helpful in finding and ordering tires for replacement . The service is courteous and caring. We were notified when the tires arrives and schedule a quick replacement

They were kind of rude when I asked for the keys so I could charge my phone. Asked for the estimate and he said it was emailed to me. All they emailed was 3 spam junk mails. They have gone way to "corporate"....

This location is a true definition of a scam, I was here Dec 19, 2024 to change my oil and tire rotation. The guys end up changing my battery and new tires, now my car is consuming gas and making a lot of noise all because I told the guys I don't need a new battery and new tires.

These people charged me to fix my tire and put a new tire on my car. In fact, they did nothing. They didn t do anything to fix my tire. They completely defrauded me. Stay away from this location.

Staff is friendly enough and communicated when my vehicle would be done.Cost of a synthetic blend oil change on a domestic vehicle with 5 quarts of oil (no other services) should NOT be $90Going rate is $50 and a full synthetic change at a dealer is $95No wonder why they don't post these prices online.Got me once, Ill never be back to another Firestone again.

I dont think I will buy tires from you again. I got the road hazard and thought I had a good deal. But then anytime I need a 20 minute job it literally takes all day. YOU NEED TO FIND A WAY TO TRIAGE. Get the low hanging fruit in and out. I'm due for new tires. I probably will not buy from Firestone.I like some of the guys that work there. I'd like them better if they could do a 20 minute repair in 20 minutes

Upon arrival Miguel was super helpful and gave me information regarding Silver Rock claim process for my car repaired. Very upfront and knowledgeable. I was updated in a timely manner what was wrong with my car and although I didn't expect to have it ready the same day was very happy to get a car saying my car is ready for pick up. I definitely would recommend this shop and continue to have my car needs done here. I also would like to thank the mechanic who worked on my car as well.

Avoid this place if possible if not make you sure you double and triple checkThe technician overfilled all four of my tires. I drive a mini Cooper both my front tires bad 80psi in them, my two back tires had 60 and 65. Mind you I came into the store to get the it maintenance because I was driving to Texas. I had to stop multiple times on the road because my car started to shake so bad and could figure out why. All four of my tires had bubbles on them and had no issues prior to bringing the car in. and I was lucky neither of them bursted why on the road with my kid in the car. I m now out $700 because I had to get new tires in order to drive back to Chicago. Aside from the cost that is just pure negligence and dangerous.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. I would give 0 stars if possible. Waited 7 hours for wheel alignment and an oil change. I was lied to by representatives 3 times telling me the service is done and that my car will be ready in X amount of time. They don t update customers on the status of the vehicle and if you reach out you constantly are talking to someone new. Worse experience ever. Never going back to this establishment.

This is the last time I m brining my vehicle to this place their time management with cars very horrible doesn t even matter if you have an appointment or not it takes them about more then 5 hours to inspect your vehicle they always tell customers to do drop off because it s take a while to inspect a vehicle. They don t even update you with your car going to take forever. Other places have way better manageable times unlike this place.

Service was suspicious. Allow me to explain. I needed immediate repairs to my pot-hole destroyed struts. The work was completed, but they broke the part that allows the front panel of my car to snap in place, so it was hanging when I came to pick up the car. Also, soon after the repairs I needed new control arms. They were in such bad shape that my front tires had wobbled themselves bald. What happened here? If the control arms were bad, why wouldn t Firestone offer to fix them when they had my car for repairs? My car had no wobble or balding tire issue before the repair. Also, they offered to sell me new tires. If I purchased new tires, but the control arms wobbled them bald well let s just say I feel like this all makes very little sense. I would NOT recommend this Firestone.

Took awhile to get my car looked at but they were very helpful when they did put it in the air. I m sure a lot of people have had different experiences but I was happy with mine.

Stopped in to have a tire replaced. Got me in and out quickly. Jewell is one of the most chill tire store employees I've ever dealt with -- didn't push anything on me I didn't need or want. Will be back.Service: TiresService: Tires

I would not recommend you take your car here. Brought my car in at 9 am with an appointment at 10 am. still hadn t been worked on when I called around 2pm. Services never completed. Demanded car back after 5pm They said they did my oil change and the car care package I get every time. But tires were not rotated. Not sure of what else they didn t complete. But will now have to get it checked out by someone else to be sure.

I took in my car because of a flat tire, and was pleasantly surprised at how helpful the team was at Firestone. They showed me what was wrong, gave me several options and pricing, and helped in a timely manner. I will definitely be back.Service: TiresService: Tires
