Was, past tense, going there for 11 years. But they tried upselling EVERYTHING the last time I was there! To much to write and I don't want to waste anymore time with this place. The last 2 owners were great and honest. These people now...watch yourself, they'll scare and lie to you and try to get every penny out of you.Shame...lost a loyal customer, and I tell EVERYONE not to come here! I warn everyone about the dishonesty and upselling.A year and a half ago I would of gave this place 5 stars.Don't bother sending me a coupon or even replying. Disgusting place...

This location needs to be shut down for good. Since I made an appointment for an oil change and a tune up. This is what I requested. A middle age white boy, refused to do an alignment. Tells me, an alignment would be a waste of money. This is what I requested. Then wants to start an argument with me about MY car. Does an oil change. Wants to start another argument. Looks to me like I won't be bringing my car here ever again.

Had a good relationship with previous manager . Not so good now . Waited 4 hrs to mount and balance 4 tires . while waiting , listening to mgr trying to upsell everything to people who were coming in for service .

They changed the oil, didn't have my oil filter waited 2hrs for a oil change.Didn't put air in the tires to nock off the tire light.....wanted me to pay them to tell me why my engine light was on.The Midas in Westchester does all that with a smile...... that's the one I'll be going back to.

Customer service was great it took my truck and change the oil Fair price and they have coupons online that you can receive and get a discount Saturday's preferred because it's not crowded at all

This place is awesome. Ray was able to squeeze me in same day. He was very accommodating and kind. Amelia was very sweet and thorough with her knowledge of cars. Quick service. Great pricing. Ray was courteous and prompt with my repair. Don't know how the whole experience could have gone any better. Would definitely return should the need arise in the future. I had an exhaust bracket brake on my stainless steel exhaust system and Ray was able to re-weld the bracket and put it back to factory condition. Thrilled with the outcome and the price of $100.

New owners...new Manager.....new Techs with multiple years of experience. The manager is definitely a " Ray of Sunshine " on a gloomy day...lol. Ray has a ton of automotive knowledge combined with the ability to explain even the most complex repair in a way that's easy to understand. I'm really happy he's back.

Worst people I ve ever been around. Terrible customer service and terrible work. These people simply think they are the top of the world. When In reality they are broke and have no ownership. They talk and communicate with their customers like they run the world. They are trash. Absolute garbage. Don t do any service here. Trust me wayy worth it going somewhere else. These guys at Midas on 110th Cicero are absolutely terrible and not worth any business. Go down the street not even 30 seconds and go to car X for better and respectful service. I will never be here again. I repeat never will be here again.

They did the "work" without my approval, forced me to pay for the work I didnt approve of in order to get my car, refused to take out the parts I never agreed to because "they dont do that", and now my car doesnt start due to the exact same reason why I took it in in the first place! Waste of my time and money.

Eric and the team at the Midas in Oak Lawn are phenomenal. I had my daughter s car towed there after it broke down and after they reviewed it, Eric called me to tell me that whoever changed the oil last (a national shop in another state) failed to put the filter back on properly which caused the engine to completely lock up. Nobody wants to hear that especially knowing how expensive an engine is. He provided me with a full report, including pictures, to provide to the other company so I could file a claim. Eric answered management s calls and answered all of their questions. My claim was approved and the cost of the engine ($6k+) was covered thanks to the attentiveness of Eric and the team. I am forever grateful to them and they will always have mine and my family s business.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Very nice people, the owner Joe was very friendly to me and gave me a great deal for my oil change! Plus let me know about what was wrong with my car otherwise to without charging me. Definitely recommending that you come here for your car care/services! Definitely 5 stars.

Eric was so patient and helpful when this frantic mom called about issues with her daughter's car. They were able to service the car quickly and kept me up to date with the process. It's nice to know that a great, reliable service center still exists. Thank you guys!

Eddie and Bill were AWESOME! They're busy on Monday's so I had to come back later in the day but it was well worth it. These guys are honest and knowledgeable about cars. Great energy and exceptional customer service. Thanks guys!! I'll keep coming back to this Midas for all of my car needs.

This is the only place I will take my car! The man in there is always honest and reputable. He also has better prices than anywhere around. I drive a little farther to get there but it s always worth it because I know my car is in good hands! I had to have my headlight changed and Delta sonic wouldn t even do it. I took it here and paid less than $20. So worth it would recommend this place to anyone who needs anything done with their carService: General repairs & maintenance

Eddie was great, told him what I was looking to get fixed, he then told me what I needed and gave me a complete breakdown of what I need done. Didn't try to sell me on any of it and told me exactly what I needed for my visit and how to prevent further issues down the road. As a guy who does 99% of the work on my own car, I can trust this shop to take care of my car. Great location and great staff!

Old returning customer.My bill has high but 40% lower than the normal. Needed the entire exhaust system oxygen sensors, cats and all. Long Warranty and complete job with no corner cutting. Also seen a lady who needed serious work but I checked and they gave her a deal as she was a single older lady with a 1993 domestic. You will pay a basic lower price than others from a premium company.I recommend calling first. This place is a hot spot for good service and gets busy.

Ever since Eddie left Midas it hasn t been the same!!! The new manager Matt is HORRIBLE!!! My family and I have been going there for 20 years now and will never be going back. When I went in this time they charged me double of what I always get prices at and when I went in to get my car so I can have it done somewhere else Matt told me that he can t give me quotes because his family runs the company and they can change the prices to what they want so he wouldn t give me paperwork talk about being LOYAL to the costumers.. that s only half of it don t even get me started on how when I picked up my car my check engine light is now on and I know for a fact it wasn t . This place needs a better management and better customer service skills.! Matt is rude, thinks he better than everyone, and talks trash about former employees to the customers!!!!!Service: Brakes

The folks here at Midas are very helpful. Needed an oil change and tire rotation and these guys had the best price ($20) as part of an ongoing promotion and did the job in 45 minutes. They seem knowledgeable and I'll be back for my AC recharge next summer.

I have been here three times so far. I willcontinue to return because I feel very comfortable that the managers and workers are honest and straightforward with customers. I have never felt like they were trying to overcharge me. In fact, two times they did not charge me at all. One time it was because my windshield was not moving and he fixed it in one minute. The other time there was a check engine light and the issue was likely due to a computer sensor in my Lexus. Even though they could not fix that issue, and they recommended I make an appointment with the Lexus dealership, they did not charge me anything after spending several hours running comprehensive diagnostics. The manager Eddie provided me a printout of the codes I would need to show the dealership so that could streamline the process.

This is best Midas shop in town. They are under new management since many of the other reviews listed here over 3 years ago. They take great care of their customers and I always go back. I have tried other local Midas shops and they are just OK. This one is the best in my opinion. I take ALL of my cars here. I have never been disappointed. I once tried to take my car to another Midas out by O'hare when I heard a noise while driving. I got a crazy quote that did not seem quite right. I called this shop & the manager, Eddie remembered me & my car right away. I left the other shop & came right into this one. Eddie saved me a few hundred bucks on a repair I didn't need right then and I was up & running the same day. My car has been running perfectly ever since. Very professional, exceptional customer service and always a good value for my money.

I had a brake job done in June. The manager is wired he is doing to much. I got my oil changed to leave town and my brake fluid cap was missing .I went back and it was a joke to him Matthew C.The mechanic that worked on my car got smart and I went there with him. I would not go back ever. They are the worst. I am going to have my car completely checked for everything they said they did.Service: Brakes

Visiting and staying in Oak Lawn back in January during the extreme cold, a whole bunch of warning lights started to show in our Escape. We had a 18 hour drive ahead of us the next day so we needed to be sure what was going on. Brought it in and the staff was extremely helpful and honest. A very trustworthy establishment.

My husband had brought his car here and was very happy with the service so he recommended I come here after I had issues with the dealership. I would definitely recommend this shop, Eddie takes the time to listen and explain everything. Car is running great!
