Outstanding Service at Global Auto Mechanic Shop - A Rare Gem in Auto Care! From the moment I stepped into Global Auto Mechanic Shop, I knew my car was in good hands. The team here is exceptional knowledgeable, courteous, and above all, trustworthy. They took the time to explain the issues with my car in detail and offered a range of solutions without any pressure to choose the most expensive option.Their transparency is what really sets them apart. I received a detailed breakdown of the costs upfront, and there were no hidden charges when I came to pick up my car. The repair work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. The only shop me and my entire family trust! It's not often you come across and honest mechanic shop but this one is just that! Besides doing the job right (always) they're super honest. They tell you exactly what your car needs done and if there is something that's not super urgent that needs to be done they let you know that as well. They're highly knowledgeable. The two owners Moe and moody make you feel very welcomed and treat every person as a priority. All the mechanics there are the best especially Ali. Hands down the best place to take your car and I always recommend to everyone I know. If I could give 100 stars I would.

Moe, Moody and their amazing team have provided exceptional customer centered service from the moment I brought my car in. Throughout my first experience with them, they have been so patient, attentive, communicative and honest. They take their time to explain everything in detail as well as write a full diagnostic work up on what was performed with their cost breakdown and what recommendations/maintenance they have for you to extend the longevity of your vehicle. I am completely blow away by this team and I appreciate them more than they know! Thank you Moody, Moe and Team!

Definitely don t like dealing with or going to any type of auto repair mechanic. I ve been to places where they talk AT you like you are stupid or overcharge you because they think they know your budget and car better than you. At global auto I m constantly met with people who are listening, patient, and kind! They even call you back if you miss them! I never feel like I ve asked too many questions or a stupid question. I m always reassured that they will be there to assist me in whatever is happening with my car. I don t trust just anyone to work on my mine. As Long as the doors are open you have a happy customer!

Easily one of the best mechanics I've ever been to.I left my car there for an hour to get my oil changed and receive a call saying that my breaks are looking worse for wear as well as my engine filters. Moody not only looked at my driving history and said that I could go another oil change before really needing to replace everything but I did anyway. The inspection to find all this out was at no additional charge btw, and the cost to get all it done wasn't even that much more than it was for someone I know to get two of their breaks done somewhere else.What surprised me more than that is how I had only been there once before and Moody already known me by both face and name. I don't even know the names of most of my coworkers let alone someone I only see only once every few months mixed in with everyone else that comes to get serviced.When I brought of concerns of potential problems that may even be me just being paranoid. Moody told me to bring it in for a free inspection. He even said this for a part I wanted fixed, which I already knew what the problem was do to it preventing my car from starting before I even knew about Global Auto Repair. Said problem cost me $400 just to find (and Band-Aid fix, not perma fix) from another mechanic and Moody was willing to confirm the problem before even giving a price to fix for free. He also said he would do this for someone I know who has EVERY light on their dashboard on with only a suspicion of the issue.At time of review GAR has 5/5 stars and I can say with certainty. They deserve it and shall be getting another 5 stars from me.

Honesty, the best auto-repair shop you can take you vehicle to, bar-none. They ve taken care of so many of my cars with great service and great rates. Currently I m taking my 2018 Toyota 4Runner SR5 there and my fianc� is taking her Porsche Cayenne there. They service them as if they are their own cars. I would never go anywhere else. Best service in the industry.

I have been going to Global for about 10 years. As a single mother of 4 (now adults) it was a sigh of relief to find knowledgeable mechanics that take the time to explain what is wrong with your car and offer quality and affordable repairs. Highly recommended.

I regularly bring my car to Global Auto Repair for oil changes, and during my last visit, I asked them to inspect the shaking issue I've been experiencing. After completing the oil change, they invited me to take a look at something they discovered underneath my car. It turned out that the rear subframe had broken off from a stabilizer bar on one wheel. Concerned about this, I requested them to schedule a repair as soon as possible. Surprisingly, they called me back the next day and informed me that they had contacted Mercedes about the issue. To my relief, they found out that there was a recall for this problem, and Mercedes would fix it at no cost. I had struggled to find a reliable place to take my Mercedes before I came across Global Auto Repair. Their extensive knowledge and expertise have impressed me, and I trust their recommendations.

I meant to leave this review over the summer and, life. The guys here are great. I ve taken cars here in the past as a friend had referred me and most recently, both my daughters took their new car to get inspected here by Moe and his team. Let me tell you when I say they are honest and transparent about everything. Even offered advice on car maintenance being that they are both young. I fully trust their work and as they back up what they say.

Fantastic & fast work, very professional as well. Anytime I have a problem with any of my Cars I take them to Global , I ve been a customer for years now they ve done work from Suspension to replacing my Engine & I ve never had any problems . I cannot say enough good things about Global Auto Repair specifically because customer service exec Moody is so helpful. In the used car/car repair business so many people are trying to upcharge you and scam you. Moody and the mechanics and Global have given me great advice and honest assessments and price. I even called Moody in my negotiation with the used car salesperson and he helped me reduce the price! Then he followed up and called ME to check in on how the car was driving. He also over and over offered to call mechanics closer to me if it was more convenient for me to update them on my car even if it meant him missing out on my business. He doesn't seem to care too much about selling me on things but rather is more focused about giving the correct advice and helping me make the right decision. I didn't get his co-workers' or mechanics' name but they were both great too. I'll continue to give them business and can't recommend them enough. Really good experience.Service: Auto maintenance

Overall, a great experience.I was hesitant to take my car to any place other than my "car guy" who I've used for the last 15 years. After my "car guy" had surgery that prevents him from working on cars for months, I searched online and found Global Auto Repair. When I called them, their man Mo was engaged, kind and knowledgeable. Cautious optimism.I decided to take my car and get looked at as the car was not running right and the check engine light was on. Mo's team diagnosed issues with the spark plugs, coils and gasket seal leaks. The repair team fixed the issues and my 14 year old SUV is running like new once again. They even found an engine mount issue that they fixed but didn't charge me extra. Overall a good experience all around. While their service is a bit expensive, you get what you pay for. I will definitely bring my car back to Mo and team.

I really enjoyed transparency with the staff. Mo�t and Moody were both very helpful in assisting me with my vehicle. The shop will now become my primary place for all vehicle needs. After Firestone destroyed my vehicle Global Auto Repair access all damages and explained what I needed. I was very satisfied with the work and service. My dad recommended this auto shop for me. Brought my 2004 Lincoln navigator in needing brake light and I tell you these guys are beyond excellent ,, I'm talking about from the time I dropped it off until the finishing the guys were extremely professional and kept me aware of the whole process and work was done efficiently and in a timely manner. The team is AWESOME

I love this place and the Staff. They always do me right about my 2011 Honda . I m from North Carolina and sense I have been here in Chicago this is where I come for all my car needs. Recently. I took my car to another shop for and they told me that a lot of worked needed to be done, and I bought it here for a second opinion , and they checked out everything and I just needed shocks and break pads , not the other stuff the other shop said I needed Thank God for these Men,, they saved me a lot of money. I was referred by a family friend and it was better than expected. Great customer service from Moody to the phone call to in person experience. Honest and professional! My car was ready the same day! Im use to my car being in the shop for at least 3 days min. Scammers, they don t say how much their rate is. I took my car and told them exactly what needed to be replaced. He took the car and called me back after it was fixed. He tried to up charge me and said the repair cost $570, but because it took less time then expected he was only charging me $500. They charged me $90 for gaskets!! And diagnostic fee although I told them what needed to be replaced. Their rate is $150 per hour.

My first time going to the shop was about 2 or 3 months ago and I can honestly say that I don't mind giving these guys my business everything has been on the up-and-up with them they're very transparent and that's something that I can appreciate as a customer. I ve been coming by Moody, Moe, Ali, and Carlos for the past 10 years. Every time I go in, they have the best service and are straight forward. They don t sugar coat anything. They are honest. I believe they take care of customers cars as if they were their own cars. They over deliver on their services and I will continue to be a long time customer. Thank you so much guys! I just had the GREATEST experience with this business. I called the day before to get a quote on brakes and made an appointment for the next day. (I was super late, but they still took me and I thank them for that) When I arrived for services to be rendered, the employees were so kind and explained things where I could understand them. They did not attempt to sell me anything that I didn t need, and here is the best part: THE PHONE QUOTE RANGE WAS ACCURATE!! I d definitely recommend this place to everyone because of their professionalism. The employees also kept me updated on the estimated time for repairs which was also spot on accurate. It feels good to have an auto repair shop that I trust to do the work accurately. Finally, I was not pressured to post a review or anything that would make them look good. I can honestly say that MY safety was their priority POINT BLANK!! I m not sure what other services they offer, but I will do my best to continue to support them.Service: Brakes

I've used this shop for almost 10 years. Never have I had a bad experience with them. Always straight forward with any issues on my vehicle along with time and cost. These gentleman are friendly and very professional. They always explain what the problem is and the best way to have it fixed properly. I recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy mechanic.

Just wanted to share the great experience I had with Moe and the rest of the team. I towed my car there when it broke down and even with the issue I had I did not get it fixed. But the guys here are honest, and empathetic towards your situation. They helped me in any which way they could and I could tell the value the people that walk through those doors. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and will be going to them for future assistance.
