Gerber Collision & Glass is amazing!!! My first time using a different company for repairs and I m not disappointed at all. I dropped my vehicle off last Tuesday and it was ready for pickup on Friday! Alejandro & Matt took care of my vehicle and made sure I received updates throughout the whole process. My truck looks brand new.

Gerber Collision did a fantastic job on the repair of, my 2023 KIA Sportage. They finished the job quickly, and I was updated on the repairs and parts being ordered. I had minor damage to my right rear-view mirror, and I obtained an estimate from a different shop for $1500 plus. I then visited Gerber in Oak Lawn and spoke with Carlos and George. I brought the part of the mirror that broke, and they repaired it for free! I am very happy that they didn t screw me and saved me $1500 dollars. It is rare to encounter such integrity these days. Kudos to Carlos and George!

Love this shop on Southwest Highway in Oaklawn... Was given specific pickup date and actually received vehicle 3 days before!!!Manager Mauricio and staff very professional, helpful, efficient.They took time to explain while showing concern & understanding... Even had people ask if I'd gotten a NEW CAR it looked so good...Thank you againGREAT TEAM!!!

My BMW 550i was beautifully put back togetherSo far all of the mechanisms seem to be intact.The customer service was outstanding and they kept me abreast of each step. Should this change I ll keep you ll posted .. WHOOPS!!!!! I CELEBRATED TOO SOON!!! The Hood will not close and an engine malfunction light is on!! I returned the car because Gerber promised no problems if my car was not rightIm going to stall them out before I seek legal action.Fix my car

Recently had my car repaired here after an accident and was incredibly satisfied. They were very communicative about the timeline and the car looked like new when I received it back. Definitely recommend this shop.

If you can, I would recommend that you go to the other Gerber Collision & Glass location in Burbank. The 6440 W. 79th staff are more efficient and on it about informing customers with updates on their vehicles.

If I could rate it negative stars I would. Had vehicle for 54 days for minor scratch repairs. Made 3 trips out there before it was completed. First visit after being told it was completed found new damage caused by Gerber, unfinished replacement of parts, and damages still not finished. Second visit found damages still not repaired. Took over 30 mins for the manager to even come out to talk to me, even though it was known I was unhappy.Last visit the person at the desk wanted me to pay before showing me the vehicle.Being that Gerber had to pay my vehicle rental for 27 days. It probably would have been cheaper and quicker to just have painted the vehicle to begin. Rather than try to work around rock chips and doing a sub par job to get me out quick for cheap.Communication is lacking at this location. Nobody knowns what is going on. Every time I called I got different stories on if the vehicle was painted or not.They killed my battery and tried blaming on a rodent. Was told it was repaired, came by 3 days later to get something out of the vehicle and was told they were still working on it. Vehicle brought with half a tank of gas, at final pick up time had a half.Even at end they put on a destroyed sticker on the windshield, why even do it? What was the point? It is clearly destroyed, and now I have to remove it.I wouldn't take my vehicle to this location, nor would I recommend this location to my worst enemy.Pictures are of what Gerber considered to be repaired work. Green first time told completed, Yellow second time told completed.Services: Painting, Auto glass repair, Body & Trim

Update as of today 11/5. Bumper has been replaced (see photo below). My car was washed and the new GM was very accommodating. I am pleased that they were willing to correct their work and provide great customer service.I wanted to give an update as the General Manager did reach out to me regarding my bumper. They fixed it temporarily and ordered the part to fix it permanently. I will be going back in to get fixed once I find time in my schedule. They also buffed out some of the scratches. I will post pictures but I can say the new GM was very accommodating.I took my truck to them in 2019 due to my splash guard getting caught on a nail and causing my bumper to pop loose. I filed the claim through my insurance company. I was told they were doing a full bumper replacement. There was a piece that bulged out a little and they told me that was ok. After only two years it came apart a month ago and when I took it back they kept it for a week, patched it up trying to say someone hit me which caused it to come apart and within a week it s back coming apart. My thought is they never replaced the entire bumper but they claimed they did. Now it s coming apart due to patch work. Horrible. Good customer service tho. Horrible work.

Gerber has standards they say they must meet therefore they are a decent company to do business with via insurance. I'm glad my insurance company has them as a go to company for repairs. Too bad they don't offer better pricing outside of one's insurance.....I would have like to have gotten some other work done.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

The service was excellent throughout, even when I thought it was taking too long. Jared was very professional and patient. He was very honest and informative throughout the process. Great service. Repaired my Acura after I got rear ended. Took my car in and had a date scheduled for repair. They were able to start earlier than scheduled and completed repairs, painting and electrical and my baby looks fabulous! Very professional people, polite and friendly. Have been here in the past a d if needed, will come back again!
