I visited the CarX on 107th and Cicero in Oak Lawn, IL and they were amazing. That new manager went way out of his way to accommodate everyone and the staff was outstanding. These are great employees and they deserve recognition for the work they do.

Just a great place to bring your vehicle to for Repairs, I had to bring in my 2011 Jeep Patriot that was in bad shape and it was because of some serious issues with these Stalkers that I have been dealing with in my life and they have taken it to another level and started vandalizing my Jeep and following me as well. I didn't want to tell anyone about it because I didn't want to be in trouble for it happening to the Jeep. Well Ray who has a wonderful Reputation and has been given Rewards as well etc. I was told by my oldest son Matt, that he was the guy to contact and that's who my mom Sally asked for. Well so far he has Done A Job on my Jeep even though it's not done yet , but I can't afford to finish fixing it. I will someday I hope . But thanks Ray for your help and Fixing it up for now! Definitely recommend that you come here to fix your car or get a check up.

Disappointed for 1st time customer. Only two stars since they changed the oil. Came in to get oil change with tires rotated. Got the oil changed and tires didn't get rotated. Seemed like employee didn't want to for some reason idk why? The guy in the office was cool though.

My heat shield was rattling because of a loose screw. Got same-day service and was done in 30 mins. They didn t charge me and the guy working up front was really nice. I will go back. 5 stars

BILL IS very rude, refused to put our car up to show us repairs and old parts.When he does do it after a long argument he drives our car recklessly into the shop hitting our tire.All this is recorded. He tells us not to come back there and says you can call management I don't care. Afew days ago we reported him cause he was yelling on the phone in a very intimidating manner. The district manager Mario called us back and it's evident he didn't reprimand Bill at all. MARIO AS A DISTRICT MANAGER WAS ALSO LACKING ANY TRAINING in customer service on crx policies.This all has been reported to MONRO. Our van was at the shop 3 times for the same diagnosis in a week in a half only to call me with a diagnosis days later in which thatpart was previously installed in 2021 whichMario refuses to look at our proof from carx and with invoices and our credit card payment. But he stated it was never replaced.Then he states He refuses to talk to me cause I want to talk about the proof of invoices We have sent him and he refuse to read the proof. Carx doesn't keep good records beware of carx they will deceive you and say they replaced a part and didn't. Even after We had our invoices proof they didn't take accountability for their deceit.Recordkeeping, customer service or compassion as to how many times returning forr the same diagnosis.I would not return to carx but they're responsible and We had no choice. Now we have to hold cax Bill responsible for his actions day of picking up our car and as we have stated in our opinion people beware of carx customer service and management they don't hold employees accountable. Assumptions made by management when they should read and investigate when a customer gives them the burden of proof and an expert mechanic states a part is the original but yet we got deceived by carx on pulaski too. On one invoice they only stated they installed 1 part but we also had other paper work that proved otherwise. GO anywhere but here if you want an honest diagnosis, respect, good communication and a duty of care to you as the customer and your car. Lastly no authorization was given to carx oaklawn to repair the van, we insisted on them to investigate the issue of the part that we previously pd. For that they state wasn't replaced. Once we got got the call "your car is ready to be picked up it's done" and gave us a lower price than the estimate sent by tex 2 days before issues are WE NEVER AUTHORIZED AND AGREED ON THE REPAIR. WE HAD NO CHOICE TO GET OUR VAN, BUT WE WILL DEMAND THIS BE INVESTIGATED .THEY TOTALLY ignored the request made by us to read and understand our concerns to be deceived by the same part pd. And not put on the van previously.

I think this place is great. Nice staff... Very helpful. In and out before I knew it. Was here for an oil change and they took care of this without issue. Recommend!

This is my go to place! As a woman some of these shops can up-charge, over charge and if you re a woman you know how it goes sadly enough! NOT THIS PLACE! Ray and his team are AMAZING! The customer service and care they provide is TOP TIER! They get you in quick and get you out even faster! Ray always has candy which is a plus! He s pleasant both over the phone and in person! This place is a gem! It s refreshing to receive great customer service when so many companies have lost this component of business. I highly recommend this place if you re looking to get your car serviced!! I refuse to go anywhere else !Services: Tires, Oil change

BEWARE of using Car-X in Oak Lawn, IL.Brought in a vehicle w/ only 34k miles for brake warning light check. There were no reported braking issues. Was later told it needed new brake pads and rotors for over $800. Upon returning for pickup, was told that they couldn't reset brake warning light due to faulty brake warning sensor. So the brake warning light is still on. It is highly unlikely that a vehicle that was braking just fine w/ only 34k miles needed new brake pads and rotors. It only had a faulty sensor. But they decided to go ahead and scam someone out of over $800.Service: Brakes

EXCELLENT!!! Rocco took grade A care of our vehicle, we brought it in to get cam position shaft fixed and hub bearings. Not only did Rocco fix it he did a thorough inspection and explained everything that was needed to know. Im really BIG on customer service and this place got it!!! Q and Rocco was very friendly and very knowledgeable and answered every question in full !!! i would definitely get our vehicle serviced here again RECOMMEND!!!!

I was there 4/21/23 about 6ish P.M. I called before going in due to being pulled over on the road on a flat tire with a nail stuck in it. When calling Q was very helpful. The crew at Car-X have done a good job with my Jeep Commander. � needed an oil change and the washer nozzles for the wind shield wssh hooked up. They did a professional job and the Jeep was fixed when promised...Good job guys!!!.

Had light going off in newly acquired used car. They found the problem immediately, fixed it and charge me nothing saying come back when you really need us! Also alerted me to inaccuracies on vehicle history.

I recently moved here from the north side of Chicago and left a good mechanic behind. Well I feel pretty blessed to have hit gold on the first place I took my car. Such a wonderful experience. Ray was a breath of fresh air, personable, human and knowledgeable. Found a spot for me and I was able to do an oil change going through the neighborhood. Will do all my oil changes here from now on. I was just made to feel like family.

First time at Car X and everything was top notch service! I made an appointment for an oil change in advance a day before and Ray was very helpful and accommodating over the phone he also gave me a coupon for my service. When i got to my appointment the gentleman in front was also very friendly I believe his name was Nick? I told him i had to be out by a certain time and he was able to get me out earlier then expected! He also gave me another discount on top of Rays coupon! I definitely will be coming back in the future. Highly recommend car x for your auto service needs. Thanks again Car X!

Aquate, the manager, was extremely kind, helpful and understanding. He and his staff rectified the problem with my wife's car and strived to make it right. Top notch service from someone who takes pride in their work and who goes out of their way to ensure customer satisfaction. I came into Carx for an oil change Ray gave me a warm welcome and nice greeting. He mention how long it will be to get an oil change even without an appointment. The wait was not as long plus I was able to watch movies on their TV during the wait. Nice guy nice price. Ray also mention how to save money by going onto the website for coupons for car service. Thank you Ray

This was my first time at this location. I wished we met sooner! I definitely plan to return. Ray was very professional as stated in many reviews and insightful about my repairs. I appreciated his patience and genuine concern. The issue was resolved for today, yea!...real blessing. Ray alerted me of a previous repair that needs urgent attention from a dealership still under warranty...real integrity.

Top notch service. I mean TOP NOTCH!!Ray took such good care of my car and more importantly, provided detailed information of the issues my car could be having. I never felt rushed or felt I was being sold anything. That was a huge relief. He took his time explaining the issues and my options. Went as far as drawing (on a piece of paper) so that I better understand and make a decision - who does that these days!!!I will point out that while waiting my turn (yes this shop is busy for a reason) othercustomers walked in and they greeted Ray as if he was family - and at that moment I knew I was in the right place for my car to be serviced. Ray truly wants to help people without trying to break the bank . This place wants RETURN CUSTOMERS and it shows.Ray truly takes care of his customers. I will be going back in a few days with my wife s car.Hidden gem in Oak Lawn!!

Car-X is by far the best place I ve ever had the pleasure of conducting my auto repair business. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and supportive. Ray the manager is funny transparent, professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. Just give them time to look at your car, the wait can be frustrating but is worth it in the end. I need new tires for my car. Yesterday, at 10 am, I called Car-X twice and got no answer. Intead, I had to book my appointment online. My appointment was confirmed and I was pretty reasonable. I figured if things were delayed and it took 2 or 3 hours, I had stuff to do. After making arrangements to miss work, I arrived at 10 am for my appointment and was told, I was leaving the car off. I told the employee that as I put on my appointment I would be waiting. He explained to me that he didn't get my appointment until 6pm and they were all backed up and he wouldn't be able to get to my car until much later that afternoon. He suggested I come back tomorrow. If coming in on Saturday was an option, I certainly wouldn't have missed work on Friday. Thanks for wasting my time.Service: Tires

I've been taking multiple vehicles to this Oak Lawn location for the last 5 years. In the last year, they've taken a major turn in the quality work and service they provide, to the point I can no longer trust them with my vehicles. Here's what to expect in dealing with them...- They replaced my cabin air filter but broke my glove box and couldn't fix it.- They performed work on my exhaust that failed.- They changed my oil only to cause a new leak that never existed and required a $400+ repair. This leak ended up all over my newly replaced $6,000 driveway leaving multiple stains.- I've dropped off my vehicles at 7:30am multiple times only to hear at 5:00pm that they didn't have time to look at it at all.- They've closed up shop at the end of the day without getting back to me and kept my vehicle, leaving me with no car for an entire weekend.- They make constant excuses, not knowing why they didn't look at things or not knowing who looked at it.- They seem to be constantly overwhelmed.- They're regularly taking about people not showing up.- They've left my car unlocked across the street at Walgreens.- They've told me they'd get back to me but never do.- They've had my car all day, then told me they didn't know it was there.This is what it's like to be a loyal Car-X customer. I've spent thousands of dollars here on multiple cars over several years and it's been a downward spiral of bad service. Absolutely LOVE Car-X on 107th, they do ALL my work on my car. Trust them completely and they have very quick service if you make an appointment. LOVE the customer service and all the discount flyers they send me in the mail. What a relief to have found a trustworthy shop. Our family has taken 3 different cars to this Car-X over the last few years for both routine maintenance as well as unexpected maintenance.
