Tom and Terry are the best! They get you in and out as quickly as possible, and their prices are the most reasonable in town. The quality of their work is awesome - and they always search your car maintenance history to see if any parts are under warranty. I won't have my car serviced anywhere else!

Beat place to take your car in the Midwest! These guys have been around since the 80's and they have the best prices in town by a longshot. THEY ARE ALSO COMPLETELY HONEST WITH YOU. They are always very busy so don't go there without making an appointment

I have been going to Terry for all of my car needs since I moved to the area a year ago. He is honest, trustworthy and so knowledgeable about what he does. I have never had a problem with getting an appointment. My car is in great hands and has never run better!

Very honest! The VW dealership said I needed new breaks and rotors, and they told me I had 5,000 more miles before needing breaks and that the rotors were fine. Definitely going back to them when it's actually time to get work done!

These brothers are truly honest businessmen.They tell you what your vehicle needs. They don't try to sell you something to raise up the repair job. They get you on your way quickly with the repair. I have always felt good knowing my vehicle is repaired and I have complete trust working with Tom and Terry. Great guys.

I have been going to Tom and Terry for all of my automotive needs for more than 7 years for four different cars. I started going to them once I met my wife as her family had been going there for decades. They are the are the only guys I truly trust with my cars. I drive more than 23 miles from home to take my cars to them.They have told me on more than one occasion that some work is just not needed these are things either recommended in the manual or suggested by other less honest mechanics. I have a tendency to panic if my car starts making any new noise. The great news is I have never needed to get something done after they told me it was not needed.My last car was 10 years old and running strong when I had to let it go, in order to get something larger for my growing family. I plan on keeping up my relationship with Tom and Terry and get decades and hundreds of thousands of miles on my cars with Milex.

Needed to convert my new, super old car's A/C to the current version. They were able to do that, and I'm extremely grateful not to be driving around in an old car with no A/C, while sweating my face off anymore. Will be for sure going back, as needs arise. :)Update: Had another technician work on my car elsewhere, for something, and they noticed that when I had my oil change done here... the technician/mechanic forgot to put the gasket on it looks like. How did that even...? They also wanted about $700-800 for an air compressor (or maybe that was for the freon too?), but I can get the air compressor itself off ebay or another parts website for around $200...??Service: Oil change

I was able to get same-day service for my car's oil change and general checkup. I always asked for them to look for whatever else might be needed, as repairs are way cheaper than car payments! Only other thing was wiper blades, and I was grateful they noticed as I had forgotten to ask for those. I believe I've been going to Milex over 30 years now, and really no reason to go anywhere else, thanks!

I have always been the person who takes their car to the dealership. Today I changed things up and went to Milex and I will be going back again! Where the dealership keeps my car all day for an oil change, Milex had me in and out under an hour! Quick and courteous service. thanks!

Milex in Oak Forest, IL has been our GO TOMECHANIC for over 25 yrs. Take your car here to have the work done right! Don't skimp on the half price in and out shops. Take care of your car and take it to Milex. Tom and Terry won't steer you wrong!
