I have a 1999 Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible with 48,000 miles that I purchased new in 1999. My car hadn't been in for bumper-to-bumper maintenance since my old mechanic retired 10 years ago. I found out about Moto & Motor through a Harley friend that I ride with and when I found out that this shop also worked on cars I called and got my car in. Almost every oil and fluid got changed. The original spark plugs were also replaced. I was most impressed when Stan and his crew found a worn out Left Rear Control Arm, something that may have been a problem since I purchased the car new but it had gone unnoticed for all these years. The car runs great after the professional care. As I was leaving with my car, Stan took the time to explain to me how to trouble shoot a leak in my convertible top and what to look for. When I got the car home I found the cause of the leak and fixed it. I've found a new repair home at Moto & Motor and they will be taking good care of my Mustang in the miles and years ahead. Stan takes riding safety very seriously.Make sure you explain what your intentions are with a bike you are bringing for a service.He did a good job on my bike.

Be sure to call ahead! I probably wouldn t have been able to get my bike serviced if I had just showed up. Brought my 86 KLR 250 in for a valve adjustment and was pleased with the service quality. My bike was ready in a short and reasonable time frame, along with additional service and adjustments separate from what I had asked for them to work on. Definitely my first choice for future maintenance!Service: Engine repair

Great shop, all the technicians are very kind and helpful. Stan is quick to respond, and honest; very helpful when making a difficult decision. Every bike I have brought in has been fixed accordingly and well. No issues.

Moto and Motor serviced my 1998 Honda Shadow when most other places I went to, were reluctant to do so. Moto and Motor did a fine job and now my motorcycle is running really well again. Thank you Moto and Motor

Took my Thruxton in for a start of season once over, Stan & Team were crazy busy in the shop, yet still made time to listen through my concerns and requests.. dropped of at 9am and picked up at 5pm the same day.

I broke down outside Chicage on a cross country trip. Stan from Moto and Motor was the only one that answered my call for help. As with any reputable shop, he had a backlog of regular customers. He promised to get me in the queue ASAP but assured me in would take some time to make a proper electrical failure diagnosis and repair. He wanted to be sure I didn't just brake down again on my 1000 mile return home. My dilemma was certainly not his problem. So I rented a bike through RideShare and continued my 2 week trip eventually returning home while Stan got the necessary parts for my older bike. I eventually returned the rental and picked up my bike. The bill was fair for all the work done. I returned home with the confidence that I'd have no issues. Stan even gave recommendations for some additional maintenance to improve performance that I doubt most dealer servicers would mention much less offer to do. I only wish Stan and Moto and Motor weren't 1000 miles away so they could continue to work on my bike. I highly recommend them without reservation.

So happy to have found Moto and Motor. My previous Harley mechanic stopped returning my texts (Likely due to amount of business but a text back would be nice). I found Moto and Motor and saw reviews mentioning a Harley whiz (mine is an 89). I called up and Stan said I could drop it off that same day. Stan was communicative and John (I think) was as advertised, a whiz. My bike is running well and safe for a reasonable price that was accurately communicated ahead of time. This is now my go to place for any motorcycle work. They know what they are doing and I dont leave feeling taken advantage of. Just overall really pleased. Will be back soon for some more items I'd like addressed.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Wheel alignment

I purchased a high mileage Ducati Monster S2R 1000 a couple weeks ago and had slight buyer's remorse initially, but after talking it over with Stan, he made me feel much better about my purchase. I called 7 shops before deciding on using Moto and Motor and all of them were either booked up till mid-september or flat out told me "we don't work on Ducatis." The only reason for my initial reluctance on going to M&M was because I'm an hour and a half from Northbrook and logistics were kind of a pain in the butt, but rest assured, I'll be using them for ALL my motorcycle repairs/maintenance that I'm otherwise not comfortable with doing myself from now on.Stan did my 50k mile desmo service (yes, 50,000 on this ducati) and not only are their prices extremely reasonable, but these guys REALLY know their stuff and they got it done in a reasonable time frame.I've been poking through their reviews and I'm amazed at how many people think your mechanic will just drop everything they're doing to work on your bike, or how they expect you to diagnose problems for free? All I can say, coming from someone in the service/repair industry is that you don't find guys like Stan and his crew anymore. I haven't met a friendlier, harder working, better staffed place than these guys offer here and I can really say that if you have the means to transport your bike here and you need your ducati, triumph, aprilia, KTM, etc random european manufacturer, OR your harley/japanese bike, don't hesitate to give these guys a try. Stan's the Man! Had some work done on my CBR1000RR. If you're looking for a motorcycle repair shop then this is the place to go! Honestly, the best one in Chicago in my opinion.

Great shop, great prices, great employees, took my rim to have tire installed and they took me in right away and had the tire on and balanced within 15 minutes. Highly recommend and will make this my go to place.

Bought a 2017 Ducati monster 797 recently took it to this place for an oil change and they did the oil change pretty quick and also checked the whole bike and found a couple other problems which would risk my safety so helped me with everything and my bike runs amazing and the price for everything was pretty reasonable or at least better than 90% of them out there. Love these guys definitely recommend them and I myself will take all of my buddies who owns a motorcycle to this place if they need anything done.

Sick and tired of my local Harley dealer so I decided to look for someone else to take care of my ride and I'm glad I found this gem.Stan and Dan were both very welcoming and as other reviews indicated Stan goes the distance to explain whatever the problem is on your ride.Definitely will be my go-to place for anything motorcycle related.

Stan is awesome. Been using his motorcycle repair services for close to 10 years now, for multiple bikes I owned. Always professional, quality work, at a good price. When my bike wasn't starting, he came out, picked it up, and had it up and running within just a few days. I found Moto via google reviews and decided it was my best option based on their reviews. This was my first time using their services but will definitely not be the last. I dropped my bike off with Moto at closing time (6pm) for a tire mount and balance. I received a call 45 minutes later with information that my bike was ready to be picked up at my earliest convenience. I'm not saying expect the same for yourself, but I can promise that this business will go above and beyond your expectations. Expert service, professional employees and great knowledge all around. Super helpful for people that own toys that are not mechanically inclined . I have a 1986 scooter that sputtered out. Had it towed to Moto and they figured out quickly that it was just gas and the battery connectors! Honest service and fair prices. Thanks!

Best shop I've been to. Stan and his team takes care of two of my bikes and are delightful to deal with. Fast service, very professional and friendly. Reasonably priced as well. I've recently moved away but will keep bringing my bikes here despite of 45 min drive.

If you need trustworthy repair for your motorcycle or scooter, I highly recommend the crew at Moto and Motor. Stan and his crew are top notch. They wont steer you wrong. There is a reason why they are ALWAYS busy. They are the best. I wont bring my motorcycles anywhere else. Ive had transmissions, engine work, tires, etc done there and never any problems. Do yourself a favor and go there instead of a stealership. You wont be sorry.

Dirt bike wasn t starting, dropped off in July didn t get it back until today, mid January. That s 6 months of time to get a diagnosis to tell me my entire cylinder head assembly is blown. They first offer me to take the bike off my hands and want me to pay for taking the engine apart! It cost me 500 to get a bike back with a gutted motor. Never going back here again

Stan and John are great. Stan is very fair when it comes to pricing and always goes the extra mile. This is the second Harley I m having him service and it s always been great. Definitely recommend this shop to anybody looking for fair honest motorcycle service on any model and save some money especially since the dealers are rip offs now a days! Thanks guys and keep up the good work!

Took our bike here for routine service. They had it back to us in a day, and were friendly and courteous. They even provided some thoughtful recommendations when we mentioned buying a second bike. All around great shop.
