Brought my 2019 Audi TTRS to get a unitronic 4 Turbo inlet installed and to also get some unitronic Midpipes installed. They Did a very professional job and helped me with any questions that I had. I love how the car came out and definitely will need a tune soon so won t be the last time I ll come here!

Awesome crew! Needed new wheels/tires and suspension upgrade and they handled it perfectly from start to finish. Tom, Ryan and the rest of the team did an awesome job with the upgrades and communicated with me the whole way with updates. Very clean shop, stored my car inside which is important!

Tom and the MPC crew are as good as it gets. Been tuning cars for the past 25 years and can finally say i found my shop! Not many places touch Teslas but MPC was extremely familiar, knowledgable and comfortable working on them. No non-sense approach, clean shop, knowledgeable staff and very welcoming. Performed coil over adjustments, wheels mounted and an alignment. Was told it would be a 1-2 day process and even though they were done in 1 day, Tom requested to keep the car another night so they could complete their quality control process. Team was familiar with the parts i personally ordered and had 0 problems with installation and tuning. Received numerous texts, suggestions and photos of progress to get my feedback before moving on. Car rides better than before and looks amazing. Fair price, honest, and trustworthy. Don't hesitate!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

My 993 drives noticeably better after they did a tune up and other misc. maintenance work. Their inspection was extremely thorough. The level of communication from the appointment to the inspection to the completion exceeded expectations. There are very few shops in the Chicagoland area that I would trust with an air-cooled Porsche.

Top notch service at MPC northbrook. They were able to get both of my Porsches sorted out with a couple of maintenance items, Ryan kept me well informed throughout and everything was taken care of quickly and was reasonably priced.

Tom, Ryan, and the crew at MPC Northbrook are top-notch! I've been taking my 2016 Audi A4 there for a couple years now. It started with semi-annual oil changes and since that time, they've essentially turned my A4 into an S4! Services that I have received include: stage one tune; stage 3 tune; K04 (big) turbo upgrade; JHM intercooler upgrade; pedal commander installation; brake job (new rotors and upgraded ceramic brake pad installation, brake pad sensors, etc.); several oil changes; spark plug(s) replaced; AOS/PCV replacement; and a brake fluid flush. I've also been treated wonderfully by the team every time that I visit them. They are outgoing, personable, friendly, and super knowledgable. I tell them what I want or the issue I'm experiencing, and they resolve it, quickly! Superb service. My next step is an oil change and GDI carbon cleaning in May, followed by a down pipe installation, and upgraded performance exhaust system installation. I love my car and these guys have made me love it more, catering to my every need, and making my highly modified A4, super unique and personalized to me! I highly recommend them! After seeing some good reviews I called to schedule an oil change while exploring the idea for some tuning. Tom answered and spent a ton of time with me on that first call to discuss tuning options. The shop is clean, the people are friendly, and they know their stuff. Tom consulted me on my goals and we built a plan to realize them. The entire experience was 100%. MPC Northbrook nailed it, exceed my expectations. MPC truly cares about your experience, your goals and your car. (2017 GLI - 6 speed manual). Life long customer even for routine maintenance, I live in the city and it's worth the drive. Thanks MPC!

I'm VERY particular about my car, so when I was forced to find a new shop due to increasingly sketchy work and steadily increasing prices, a good friend in the aftermarket business recommended MPC Northbrook He could not have been more accurate! I gave Ryan a list, they sent me a very reasonable estimate and despite the ongoing COVID debacle, finished the car in great time. When this is all over I can't wait to see the operation inside! Also can't wait to get the car back for more mods! Take your cars here with confidence!

I used MPC to install aftermarket exhaust parts on my car. I had a hard time finding a shop to work on my car (late model Aston Martin). Tom answered all my questions and concerns. He was very knowledgeable about the parts and the installation. Highly recommend.

I rarely write reviews, but this place is fantastic! I brought my used BMW Z4 here after purchasing and both Ryan and Tom were incredibly knowledgable about the N54 platform. They guided me through the recommended maintenance needed to keep my 2011 Z4 running smoothly and how to protect against known weaknesses of the N54. I also had them install a Stage 1 ECU tune from GIAC and the results are amazing!! I am thoroughly impressed by this shop. My father s 2002 New Beetle has been having intermittent issues, and MPC was quick to find the cause. They provided me with very informative pictures, accompanied with explanations and breakdowns. They re extremely honest and made our visit painless. We will be back!

I got a GIAC tune and Fabspeed exhaust from MPC. Tom was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and maintained excellent communication for the entire project. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend Tom and the team at MPC to everyone. I ll be back soon for more upgrades.

I took my Mk6 Golf R with almost 100k miles on it into their shop recently to have an O2 sensor replaced for emissions.. We ended up uncovering a few minor trouble areas that took some time to diagnose. With my permission they ended up going above and beyond the call to make sure the car was as solid as the day I drove it off the lot. Overall I am really pleased with the level of professionalism and attention to detail they put into my car. MPC does not cut corners. Between their knowledgable staff and the top notch parts they use MPC has completely satisfied me with there work. I know my car has been thanking me and I will definitely go back. They will treat your car as if it is their own.

Used MPC to address some maintenance on a recently purchased '05 Boxster S. While the car was low mileage MPC tangibly identified some standard maintenance needs that had been neglected by the previous owner. (e.g. identifying parts known to be original equipment that have since been updated by Porsche or should have been replaced per the maintenance schedule). Tom spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me going over pros/cons of each item enabling me to pick and choose which items to complete via a detailed on-line invoice. The work was completed ahead of the time promised. They do seem to genuinely care for their customers and take pride in providing high quality service and parts.

I was suggested by a friend about MPC, after work was done from a previous performance shop. I had a meeting with Tom, Chris, and Ryan about my vehicle and I explained to them about my situation. Surely they re a bit hesitant at first since most shops dislike taking on someone else s work, but suggested that it would be well worth having their MPC team do a complete diagnosis and inspection of my vehicle. I agreed since I wanted definitive answers.The MPC team was spot on being fully professional, with documentation, and noting on what was found on their full inspection. They kept me up to date on every step of the way and again, more importantly, they were able to diagnose what was causing the issues and concluded it was something they do. Compared to what the other previous performance shop could not resolve.I trust the MPC team on their findings and I agreed to their work/repair. I am truly thankfully and grateful to the MPC team. I highly recommend Midwest Performance Cars for any issues that you face with your German Vehicle!Thank you once again MPC!

I went to MPC because they told me they could install a high performance intercooler in a Volvo station wagon. I have used other mechanics in the past to do standard maintenance such as brakes, tune ups, timing belt replacement and oil changes. I had always been happy with their work. When it came to adding performance oriented parts, there was zero interest in these installation s by my know list of service people. I reached out to MPC and they were ready to do the work. I had MPC install a high performance intercooler,service my cars transmission fluid and service the differential fluid in the all wheel drive. These were services my usual service person would not do. . I am more than happy with the results. Tom my contact atMPC is very knowledgeable. He was able to book an appointment at a convenient time and have the work done quickly. The work was extensive but was completed exceptionally well. The location is modern and extremely clean. Follow up was immediate when I had concerns about a burning smell that turned out to be a protective coating on the intercooler. .Tom was ready to have me bring it in right away if the odor did not disappear on its own. The smell went away on its own, but I was pleased to know Tom would have gotten me in right away if needed. I am totally pleased with the additional performance I am getting from the intercooler. . I will say they are not the least expensive for some services but they were the only shop I went to that was willing to perform services I wanted and they did an excellent job. I have zero hesitancy recommending this shop. MPC does excellent work . SZUpdate, notice I said not the cheapest? I need to update the above. I checked around for some of the services I will need and MPC is not the most expensive, in fact their prices are quite reasonable. I stand corrected.SZ

The crew at MPC took great care of my 1980 911. They started with a comprehensive post purchase inspection that ultimately revealed several relatively serious issues with the car that needed to be addressed before the car could safely be driven. The turnaround time was amazing and Tom kept me informed every step of the way. Night and day difference between when the car was originally dropped off and when I picked it up. Absolute blast to drive now. These guys truly treat you like family. They take care of your car in such a careful and thorough way, while also going above and beyond with transparency into the process. They very clearly communicate their recommendations and are so collaborative that you never feel pressured, but more of a part of a team working together on your car. Also very importantly, the quality of the work is top-notch and they will always help you get the most out of your vehicle. I will basically only buy and drive cars that I can take to them.

MPC Northbrook did a great job installing a set of Soul Performance exhaust headers on my 991. I found them through Soul's website as they are a listed installer. They were very reasonably priced and completed the work quickly. They also did a great job communicating the progress throughout the day. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility as well. I would not hesitate to bring back any of my vehicles for either maintenance or other performance-related work. Very recommended.

Ryan, Tom, and his guys are fantastic. One of my best experiences with a garage in quite some time. Their web-portal when dealing with services is refreshing and something I've been wanting for years. They're very responsive. While we needed quite a bit of work done to our car, the quality for each repair was great. Worth the trip if you're in the Chicago-land area. Will definitely be returning.

Have been going here for several years for performance, maintenance, and repairs. I ve always been extremely satisfied with the work that they have done and have never had any problems. Ryan and Tom are very knowledgeable and have answered every question that I ve asked them, and they give frequent status updates whenever my car is being worked on. I took my Jetta to MPC for some maintenance work. I found them to be personable, helpful, and very thorough. A unique experience was receiving my car maintenance cost via text while I was in the waiting room requesting my approval. Most places show you the bill after they have completed the work. MPC is not an inexpensive service facility but I believe you get what you pay for. I will definitely trust my car tp them again.Services: Brakes, Oil change
