Sold me a used GMC pickup truck that did NOT have a spare tire jack and tools. I was stranded on the side of the highway for 2 hours because I could not change my tire. I know it was a used truck but safety equipment like this should always be included, NO EXCEPTIONS !! This is why I m only giving 2 stars.

The quality, progressive engineering and luxury of most Mercedes vehicles is truly exceptional. Unfortunately, the dealership Autohaus on Eden s, just doesn t deliver a level of service commensurate with its vehicles. We had a very good buying experience in February and are very pleased with our new SUV. The sales team, especially Matt, was excellent. However, the service department just doesn t understand how to treat customers. We had this major concern from the last time we bought from Autohaus and are already seeing the same issues again. If you buy a car from Autohaus on Eden s and they tell you about unlimited complimentary car washes included, just don t believe them! Their car wash is often closed with no explanation. Frequently, they claim it is too cold but this Saturday it was 40 degrees and sunny and it was closed again. Chicago has cold winters. Car owners wash their car in winter more often. Autohaus just looks for any reason possible to close their car wash.So know that their complimentary car wash amenity is NOT real. We buy most vehicles from Fields and they are almost never closed. Fields understands service and is always professional. Autohaus service is aloof and arrogant. I just can t understand why the owner doesn t fix this problem that has been consistently ignored for at least 20 years.

I live in South Dakota and had been looking for a white exterior, beige interior 2023 cpo certified Mercedes S for quite some time when I noticed one for sale on the Autohaus web site. I placed the call and spoke with Manny Soto the sales representative. We traded pictures of the new car and I sent him pictures of my 2919 S trade in and after a little negotiation we were able to come to a very fair price on both their vehicle and my trade in. Finance specialist Bob Ruscitti was also very helpful in securing and handling the financial end of things. Bottom line it was a seamless sales transaction dealing from over 450 miles away in securing a beautiful vehicle. Thanks to everyone who assisted with this purchase.

Bought a Mercedes recently. All the employee are working hard and cooperative. One thing to bother me is that no response for email questions after I purchased the car. I was expecting at least they can give SOME answers even though it s difficult as a follow up for a customer to spend huge money

I have bought 2 vehicles from hear over the years but after the sale their service department is terrible and even downrightless than ethical. I had an experience 3 yearsago with unauthorized work being done Because it was covered by Insurance .I gave them a pass although I was upset. We ended up even buying a new vehicle fromthem. But recently I had a check engine lightcome on and a battery error message.I made an appointment for service andmy best friend who was a service manager for another Mercedes dealer warned me not to use their service department but I had already made the appointment.Upon getting checked in the service advisor said there would be 2 seperate diagnostic fees possiblesince there was a check engine light on withthe battery message. That would be $268each! $536 before anything is repaired. What a way to treat your customers who bought vehicles from you.I told the advisor no Thanks and went to where myfriend recommended and they fixed the problem for $320. I would at least get a 2nd opinion before authorizing any workfrom their service department.

Not happy with the service here. I don't recommend this place. I bought a car in February, the car sales person was mediocre at best. Asked plenty of questions before purchasing and was given "all the right answers" told them my main deal breaker was not to have the drive flat tires. I didn't want them because I had a bad experience with them before. I was told I didn't have them. Only to find out after I purchased the car I did in fact have them. I was highly upset when I told them about it and was told "they are not that bad" well its my money and I pay for what I want to buy. Don't force me to buy what u want me to, and that's what I felt. Then I was supposed to have complementary Mercedes me service. I NEVER got it! To this very day im still waiting and it has expired. Showing pending from the dealership, was told they didn't do something and it's still held in pending and it's been 9 months. I never got to use the service, despite going in multiple times trying to address the issue. I was told recently they would look into it and get back to me. It's been over a month and nothing.I was told service A and Service B were certain prices but they changes of course.I was told I had a certified card all services were done prior to my purchase, only to be told I had to repeat all the services that were done in February. I had to insist that they were done and I wouldn't pay to have them done because they weren't due. Upon further investigation they found that they weren't needed. Made a complaint with Mercedes-Benz USA and still no reply from them.I was told that brakes would last 64k miles, of course depending on driving habits. But for sure 50k, only to be told "I'm not sure why they told you that"This has not been a great experience at all. The customer service here is terrible. Communication is awful and follow through is even worse. Most of my experiences have been terrible. I won't say stay away, I'll say proceed with caution.

Agreed on price. Then wouldn t let me pickup the car the same day citing not available to pass inspection because service dept left for day. Told me I could pickup Monday. Monday came and said it s not ready, I can pickup Tuesday or Wednesday. Tuesday came and said it wasn t ready, it ll be ready Wednesday or possibly Friday. Later Tuesday, said car was sold. Dishonest sales tactics. Also wanted me to wire money without car being ready!

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Mercedes dealership. Despite confirming the availability of a loaner car both the day before and while en route, I drove 30 miles only to be told upon arrival that there was no loaner car available. To make matters worse, the manager's dismissive response was, "If you don't like it, you better leave." It's shocking that this level of service is considered acceptable, especially for customers who have invested $250k in their products. This experience left me deeply dissatisfied and questioning the dealership's commitment to customer service.

Parts counter tried to sell me an entire $289.00 vehicle part to get a small plastic piece. Was able to get only the plastic piece for $4.80 from another dealer.

I'm on a 2 month road/ mountain bike trip from East Coast to West Coast, when my ML350d went into limp mode. I was fortunate to be near and drove to Autohaus On Edens first thing in the morning on Saturday, August 13th. The assistant service manager, Gary Ross took excellent care of me in this difficult situation. Gary and the dealership went out of their way to get me on the road again the same day, despite a busy schedule. A pleasant and positive experience! Thanks guys.

Stay away from the crooks in service. Took $500 from me to diagnose a control screen that wasn't working. I guess it was the first dashboard screen that malfunctioned in Mercedes history. Claimed they spent 5 hours to figure out it needed to be replaced and needed another $6,600 for that...They apparently had time to do the "complimentary inspection" and recommended another $10,000 in repairs for a car that drives perfect. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY

Bought a $73k car from them 3 weeks ago. I was going down my street that has no potholes or debris at 18 mph and not only got a flat tire but it also ripped off the liner in the wheel well. They charged me $1,000 to have this fixed. Its crazy that they charge such high prices for garbage quality. If you build a car that has tires that go flat for seemingly no reason at least engineer a liner that can withstand the flat at 18 mph. My expection was the services group would cover the cost of liner since this is clearly unacceptable on a 3 week old car but that was definitely not the case. Don't use their services and don't buy a Mercedes.

Long story short: These people are very very decent and I trust them completely to sell me a carNicholas Mainiatis is an outstanding car salesman and sold me my new car. They are very patient, fair, and decent people that work at Autohaus. My parents have bought 2 cards previously from them and I bought my 2nd car from them the other day.Nick was decent enough to set aside separate time with me to do a tutorial on the car which I greatly appreciated. When I compare this place to places such as Mercedes-Benz of Chicago, the difference is night and day. The salesmen there are aggressive, impatient and want the buyers to be impulsive and do a panic buy. I never felt like that at Autohaus. Thanks Nick!

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Place!I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at this place. I brought my car in because the driver's side wiper was malfunctioning, despite the fact that my car only had 2000 miles on it. They took my car in promptly, but what followed was an hour of frustration. After supposedly inspecting the car, they claimed that the foreman was working on it. They even said that they had to drain the windshield fluid, insisting that only Mercedes-Benz windshield fluid could be used. When I questioned why the fluid would only affect one side, they had no explanation. To make matters worse, when I asked if they had considered replacing the wiper itself, they simply stated that the foreman found it to be in good condition. This left me with even more unanswered questions.Three major concerns arise from this experience:1. Why is the foreman working on wiper issues?2. If they can't accurately identify a simple wiper problem, can they be trusted with more serious repairs?3. Why did they waste over an hour of my time on such a minor issue? Are they attempting to bill unnecessary work to Mercedes-Benz?I strongly urge Mercedes-Benz to send someone to assess their work ethic immediately. It seems like they are engaging in dishonest practices, either by performing unnecessary work or not doing any work at all. This visit was a complete waste of time, and in the end, I had to purchase a new wiper blade online myself. I strongly recommend steering clear of this place!

Use EXTREME caution doing business with this dealership remotely! I have purchased many vehicles remotely and this has been my first major issue. I like to purchase vehicles exactly the way I want them as in model color options and so on. We live in a world now where they can be purchased anywhere, and people do it everyday. I have bought several upper end Mercedes vehicles and have always put a lot of trust in the brand and dealerships. I recently bought a brand new S580 for almost $160k that was delivered with noticeable scratches on the door to the metal, missing interior trim, a SUPER glitchy electronics issue, and the trunk only opens sometimes. I clearly asked asked if the car had any scratches or blemishes before buying, and the salesman text me back it is a brand new car, it is flawless . I contacted the dealership immediately as it was delivered and while they say they will pay to fix the paint issue, I did not pay $160,000 for a brand new vehicle with damage and problems. And I am not happy at all to have some body shop re paint the door with a paint job that will clearly not hold up to the standards of the paint job I originally paid for. The color is a satin color and four body shops have informed me I will notice a slight difference between the new and original paint job. I am absolutely disgusted and extremely disappointed about this situation. And while some will say I should have went and viewed the car in person, I believe when buying at such a premium from a highly reliable brand, you just expect a certain level of service that you can trust. Clearly I was wrong and now I am stuck with a vehicle that is noticeably defective and a diminished value. ..I definitely would not recommend this dealership!

My wife and I have bought/leased 5 cars from from Autohaus over the last 15 years. I was terribly disappointed in my most recent experience when trying to buy over my car at the end of the lease. As soon as Autohaus became aware that I intended to buy out the car rather than lease a new car they lost all interest in me. Multiple messages were not returned. Even when I spoke to a live person, they would have no idea on the process and would ask if they could call me back. Those call backs never occurred. To me it seemed clear that no one was interested in helping me because there was no commission to gain. So disappointing after all of these years of being a loyal customer. Never mind, there are other dealers and of course there is always BMW and Audi.

This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. Not only would did they offer around 50% of fair value on my used car for trade-in value but they refused to hold a car for more than a day despite offering to pay over half down. The financing they offered was around 10% for 48 months maximum. Since they would not take a down payment, they kept the car on the market while I worked on outside financing, and sold the car the next day. Every step was unprofessional and would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
