So pleasant and very helpful. Came in because my brake and traction lights were on. What I thought was going to be a tedious job was a very simple fix. Was in and out in under 30 minutes!

Now I do not claim to be any sort of expert when it comes to vehicles (even if I do just so happen to work at a vehicle manufacturing plant). However, the staff at Twin City Garage have been nothing but amazing to me. I have had the pleasure of taking my vehicle to them more than a few times now, and I can happily say that they have always treated me respectfully and got whatever I needed done very fast.One of my first experiences with them I had blown my motor of a previous vehicle after attempting to run my car without oil (I didn't know I had an oil leak...). Upon getting it towed there, the employee didn't even take an extra second before taking a look at it. He saw there was no oil, put some of their oil in, and tried to start it. Sadly (and a little obviously), my car remained dead. He gave me the bad news, but when I asked him how much I owed for the oil (and potentially his time), he just shook his head and told me that I didn't owe them anything.This next point will require some context: simply said, I work the night shift. In most of my experiences of them working on my car (after getting a new one), I have been able to drop it off as I got off work in the morning (anywhere between 5 AM to 7 AM in these past months) and have been able to pick it up by the time I am either awake (at the latest, around 4 PM) or before I go to bed if I choose to stay up late (before noon) if not even sooner.There was even a time where (I assume to be the owner of the business) gave me two solutions for a problem I was having with my vehicle (though I can't remember EXACTLY what it was). One of these options was considerably cheaper and I am forever grateful for his generosity and transparency as a business owner.All around, this is an amazing business and I'm so happy that I just so happen to live so close to them (it was my original reason for going to them haha). I could never recommended these guys enough (and any local I've talked to has nothing but good things to say about their business as well)!

One of the best places in town to take your car for any repairs and basic oil changes. Family friendly, knowledgeable, kind, good prices, and they do excellent work.

After retiring from being a manager in repair shops for many years I was distressed to be traveling with my wife and having a problem on the road with our car. We approached Normal IL. While my wife Googled repair shops ,Twin Cities Garage popped up with great reviews and we were in trouble do we pulled in. The young man who greeted us was extremely busy but took the time to hear our plight and told me that he would look at it shortly. As soon as he got a chance he drove it analyzed it and solved the problem. WHAT FANTASTIC SERVICE we were back on the road in no time. The best service ever. My son's car (I was over an hour away) completely broke down at 10am and he was home by 2pm. I called our insurance to tow his Corolla here on a Saturday. Not only were they open, but able and willing to try and diagnose and fix it. Alternator replaced. Fixed as soon as they could find the part needed. GREAT PEOPLE! Thank you so much! What a blessing you are. Wow.

We were traveling through and the alternator on the car went out - these guys came out and helped us get the car to the shop (no charge) and got the car in and diagnosed and repaired the car in 3 hours despite being super busy. Absolutely amazing experience with this shop and I give them my highest recommendations! Reasonably priced and honest family based business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had my Acura Tsx exhaust pipe work done yesterday. Technician was really detailed and professional. They have done complimentary greasing in front suspension since car was already in the jack. Price was reasonable with excellent customer service.

This was first time visiting these guys, as I was sent here as a referral from Discount Tire. I ended up needing a new lug stud replaced, naturally right on the cusp of much holiday travel over the next week.The friendly staff at Twin City worked me in immediately and took care of it right away! As I looked around the waiting room, I found that this is a family run business. Everyone there was courteous and knowledgeable, and they really went the extra mile for me.Based on my experience today, I wouldn't hesitate at all to return if I ever need service in the future!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had a coolant leak. Luckily, we were able to diagnose the problem together and determined it had something to do with the radiator hose and clamp. They had all the parts ordered, replaced, and tested within 2 hours. Service was great. Employees were friendly. Prices were fair. Though, I would say that it's best for you to call ahead of time instead of trying to do a walk-in. Highly recommended.

My college daughter dropped her car off at the shop after it was making a loud pinging noise under the hood. I thought it was going to be an expensive engine repair, but the mechanic drove the car around the block and said he new what the problem was and that he could have it fixed in 30 minutes. Turned out to be a loose heat shield and he fixed it free of charge. The least I can do is write a review of our experience and recommend this wonderful business to all my friends and family. DO NOT TRUST!!! BEWARE !!!! my air conditioning had went out and I had it filled but the compressor wasn t spinning. I came to the shop and I told him that problem, but they said I needed another fill because it was uneven. I told him I thought the compressor was bad. So they filled it up some more. Charge $180 for nothing. And then they told me the part auto zone is $1200. I went to AutoZone and part is $500. The brand new part from the Mercedes dealership is only $950. Also they said the repair would cost $600 and I got it done for 350. This place is a rip off and will steal your money on parts. Make sure to check how much is a Parts for a recommend to go here

This is the biggest rip off shop ever. They tried to charge me $1200 for a part that cost 500 at advance auto parts. The brand new part from the actual Mercedes dealership is 950 do not go here they will rip you off they charge me $180 to tell me what I told them was already wrong with my car.

To make a long story short. I had 6 driver side lights out, slow leak in rear passenger tire, and a broken hood release latch. Came in on Friday, told them, they said come back Tuesday at 9am. I did, 2 hours later , everything they were able to fix, they did, the 2 things they couldn't, they gave me options on how to obtain the parts needed, showed me the finished work and possibe issues that may come about (darkening bulbs). Cost was definitely decent and not over blown. They were recommended to me and I will do the same

I am so glad to find Twin City Garage. I have got couple maintenance and some estimates done here.They are very professional and they have best reasonable price in town. They are always very helpful to everyone. QUALITY WORK & HONEST. Up front and informative. They take pride in their work. Places like this are hard to find. I had $1,300.00 worth of chassis work done, so there was more than your standard amount of shop work on my work order. It was a professional, clean business every step of the way. If I could give more stars to this group of guys, I would. They have been great to work with over the past few years. They have always been very up front and honest with me and any repair that they have done. I have an older vehicle, but they treat both the car and myself with the respect as if I was bringing in a new vehicle to them. They have always not only given me the best possible service, but the best service for my money. I send everyone that I can to them and I know that they will be taken care of. This family owned business ROCKS! We were traveling during late summer and the A/C in our camper stopped working. They were able to diagnose, get the part and install it in just a couple of hours. I will say that they are very friendly and quick with their service but if you want any investigative mechanic work done, this is not the place. They diagnosed work entirely based off of their diagnostic code reader. They did not look further into the potential issue. They said it needed a tune up which I thought didn't sound right but I'm not a mechanic. Magically when the 1200 tune up is done, another code comes up to which I had to take it somewhere else. People don't always have thousands lying around to spend. If you're going to charge that amount, you need to make sure (to the best of your ability) you're tackling the right issue. Go here for very basic and least expensive work. Anything else, go somewhere else.Service: Auto engine tuning

They changed the oil quickly, and it was very reasonable for my car that takes 7 quarts of oil. I would definitely go back again.Repairs (for a bad coil and plug wire) have been done very quickly, and at a really good price.

We live in North Carolina - Our daughter moved to Normal, IL over a year ago and her father has been an auto technician for over 26 years. Over the last year she has had issues and needed repairs from suspension issues, AC issues, Alternator issues and light bulb replacement. Twin City Garage has given us peace of mind with her so far away from home. They are honest, reasonable, understanding and go above and beyond with their communications with us. I took my car there 4 times and they couldn t figure out the root cause of the leakage and it cost me a lot of money.I took the car to another mechanic shop and told me what was the root cause of the leakage; it wasn t easy find for them as well but they took time and satisfied me.Service: General repairs & maintenance

1st time customer. Brought my car in for a brake service. Nice and friendly family run shop. Efficient and professional. Edis even showed me and explained the parts he replaced, and asked if I'd like it back. Will use their service again. Thank you.Edit: A couple of months later, the rear brake started making sound.
