They are seriously the best around! I came here because my friend Andy Wallace works there and I 100% trust him and I trust anywhere he works. Everyone there is super honest and incredibly easy to work with. I will enthusiastically recommend them to everyone!

I just had a great experience with Team Automotive & Tire. They fixed an issue another business didn't take the time to find. They were quick, honest with options and great communicators. Erin at the front desk was a delight to work with and very knowledgeable. I walked out knowing I had a place I trust and will go back again when needed. Highly recommend.

My experience with Team Automotive & Tire has been great. During my most recent visit for an alignment after I replaced a strut/tie rod on my car, Alan examined the car and put it on the alignment machine but determined it didn't really need an alignment. He gave me a call and verified that I wanted to proceed with his recommendation of no alignment and didn't charge me anything. I appreciate the honesty and detailed explanation of why an alignment wasn't necessary.

Absolutely terrible business. If you are a COLLEGE STUDENT DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR THERE!!!! I had a misfire in my Ford on my way down to school and ended up needing a tow, was referred to Team Automotive and took my car there. they took a few days to check out my car, which is understandable. Once they checked it they quoted me at 1,913.17 dollars. I needed spark plugs and ignition coils and they said the spark plugs were 22.46 each, ignition coils 200.77 each. Additionally they said I needed a spark plug boot . THEY ARE ATTACHED TO THE IGNITION COILS!! They also said the job would take 3 hours at 130 dollars an hour of labor. Absolutely terrible, saddening experience. Good luck to anyone that goes there if you don t have money to blow. I ended up doing the job myself in a parking lot and it cost me 350 dollars. ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!!!!

I took my SUV there to have brakes checked, purchased a new battery and they took some old motor and other car related items to dispose of for me. Always friendly, fast and reasonable. I have used Team Automotive to check things on my car to determine if work is really needed.

Can t say enough GREAT things about the service, quality of work, and quick turn around for diagnosing & and auto repair on my vehicle.They took the time to listen to what I had to say, offered a next day diagnosis with a great estimate, and picked me up when it was ready.They get my trust and future business!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!2014 Chevy Equinox/126,000 miles - timing chain issues from running low on oil. The rest of the car was in great shape so we decided to replace the engine. The new/remanufactured engine came with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty. Allan & his staff were incredibly helpful & guided us through multiple options - turning our dilemma into a breeze. Before the decision, we said, "We won't know if its a good decision until 3 years from now." After picking it up & driving it, we don't need to wait 3 years...we know this is the place & this is the team for us!Service: Engine repair

If I could give zero stars... Casey and Gunner were cool. But watch out for the lazy owner, mark. They had my car for almost 3 weeks, and I had spoken to mark about fixing EVERYTHING wrong with my car (the check engine light was on) we discussed this TWICE. It was not done. Which really irked me because mark specifically said multiple times to me that that's why it was taking so long: because they were doing the check engine light . When I did get my car back, the right side of my dash did not work, the emergency brake was messed up (they did fix that though) they didn't put together everything they tore apart, and new lights was on my dash.and of course my car broke down again because of the same issues I came in for. Current mechanic said team automative really cheapened out to fix it, and barely did the minimum. So thanks.

Fantastic people! My dodge dually broke down around Bloomington while on vacation late on a Sunday. I did not know the area, so tow truck driver recommended Team Automotive. I left my truck and a message Sunday night, and they called me first thing Monday morning.They were very professional and courteous, I am a very happy customer!! I'm so happy to have my truck back.

The guys at Team Automotive were great. Got me in the day before a road trip to fix a weird noise in the engine. No upselling or funny business. Love the shuttle service and appreciate the small discount I got as an ISU student.

Great customer service, Awesome diagnostic team, amazing service and mechanic staff, free shuttle service, BBB accredited so you know you are getting an honest price and honest work done on your vehicle and sometimes the owner's dogs are hanging out in the office too! What more could you ask for from a garage? Definitely my go-to-garage for any repairs or problems I have with my vehicle.

Customer Services was excellent. TA went above and beyond. They provided us with a loaner vehicle while ours was getting services. Unfortunately, the loaner vehicle got towed :-/ Completely our fault. Mark from TA took extra time out of the day to ensure we had all the notarized documentation we need to retrieve the vehicle from the city which I am sure was a pain for him. He was very friendly about it. I can't say enough about them. Thanks again and sorry for the hassle!

We had come to Normal as part of our vacation on a Saturday night and had planned to leave on Tuesday. The last hour on the road our check engine light was on. On Monday I called a couple dealerships and they where to buissy. When I called Team Automotive they got me right in. There where major issues and parts that had to come from Chicago but they got the car ready by Tuesday. Then on the test drive the radiator went out. Team Automotive even got the radiator replaced and still on the road by 2:30. Great people to work with.

Do yourself a favor and find someplace else!I went out to start my car to find that the starter wasn't working at all. No click, nothing. Wasn't my battery cause the radio and wipers still worked and it wasn't my alternator.I ended up having to call roadside assistance to get it towed and they said this was the closest place to tow it so I agreed. Biggest mistake ever!They had my car for almost a week (their excuse being their mechanic wasn't in for three days straight!), ran dozens of test only to tell me they have no idea what was wrong with my car! Then they charged me $200 for all the tests they ran, and told me to tow it to the dealership which I then had to pay for out of my own pocket.Basically this all amounted to them holding my car for a week, doing nothing for it, then running a bunch of expensive unnecessary tests to have someone else fix the problem. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to fix your car. Someone who will actually fix it. Total rip off

The repairs to my son's 2006 Altima were done well and quickly. All the individuals I was in contact with were very empathetic to my problem. They provided a loaner to me. That was very helpful also. The MAF (mass air flow sensor) was priced really high compared to auto parts stores and internet by nearly double. The labor rate was very fair however. I would recommend this shop for your auto repairs.

My boyfriend has had to be towed here twice and both times they were very helpful, super kind and didn t make it feel like a scammy transaction like some repair shops can. In just a month we've had two very good experiences with this business. The first was when our son's car had trouble shortly after arriving as a freshman at ISU. They did the work for a reasonable cost and didn't try to take advantage of him. The next was when I had an accident during family weekend at ISU. Because of our previous experience, I had the tow truck drop the van off at Team since it was not driveable and we live two hours away. We communicated by phone for several days and they got the work done and even replaced our wiper blades at no charge after test driving and noticing one was damaged. They just made it all very painless. The bill wasn't painless, but that was just the nature of the damage.

I'm a college kid - not from in town - so when I needed somewhere to bring my car, I consulted the internet and found Team Automotive. Dude, let me tell you - I love these guys. I don't know very much about cars; and these guys have proven to be honest, professional, and caring every time I've brought it over there.They know what they're talking about, explain things well (so that I can in turn explain it to my mother over the phone) and have this great courtesy car. Everyone's super nice and friendly; and they do good work.It's nice to have a place that I can trust and enjoy doing business with. :)

I have had my automotive work done at Team Automotive for many years and highly recommend them They are very accommodating, efficient, competitively priced, professional and care for their customers needs as they would their own family. I can't say enough good things about them.

Had an issue with my son's car who is a student at illinois state. They accepted his car as a tow in. When I called to get a status waa told they hadn't looked at it. I called later in the afternoon and the said they were swamped and offered him a car to use which his was there such a great service. Thank you for the care from our of towners.

When my sons headlights quit on his 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, Team was able to get the vehicle in same day we called. While the vehicle was there they called to say we were passed due for oil change and tire roatation (which we were), they had the lights repaired and maintenance done by 5:30 that same day!!!! I can t say enough about the professionalism and great customer service at Team!!! Thanks Team!!!

I have taken all of my previous corvettes here and wouldn't trust anyone else with my current one. My most recent issue dealt with a loosening crank pulley. Not only did Rod fix it, but he recommended a solution that would prevent it from happening again. Sure they aren't the cheapest in town, but I've been to the cheapest and they nearly ruined my car with shoddy work. They are incredibly honest and up front with their work and prices. I seriously don't understand the bad feedback. Sounds like a lot of butthurt coming from people that don't understand how a business works. Do yourself a favor and at least get your car diagnosed there first, then decide on the repair. They at least know what they're doing.

Talk about being taken advantage of as a college student with minimal knowledge of car repairs. this place over charged me to perform repairs on my vehicle. and when asked about it to Kc he did not offer to help. they replaced an expansion tank on my Bmw and was told it was Napa part i the looked up the same part by the part number attached to my invoice and was billed $176.72 the part from Napa is $99.31 plus tax this place. this was not acceptable i picked up may car and paid the full amount i just want everyone to know this place will over charge you for everything be aware.

We had a tires issue on the road heading out of town and AAA recommended this place.they looked at my car right away and reset the tpms light and check tires we had safe travel the next few days you guys were life savors thanks again we really appreciate the great service

This place has always done me right. They provide good service at an honest price. I refuse to take my car anywhere else. Steve behind the counter is exceptionally friendly, and very honest and up front about the work to be done. I recommend this place to anyone I can. No other shop in central Illinois is this honest.

Horrible price, charge 26.99 for alignment check where compare to tire barn and tire plus they are free. Also horrible price 84 an hr? serious? most shops don't charge over 70 an hr. what makes you guys so special?. Horrible price they gave me an estimate for 1300 and charged me for my alignment and i got everything changed for 400 at else where. Don't go to this place if you have another option. i recommend going to tire barn or tire plus or any where else to get your alignments done.Overall rating SCAM SCAM SCAM OVER PricedAlso what kind of owner give his own shop a 5 star to raise the rating?
