Our sliding glass door lock was not working as expected. After contacting this business via email based on other great reviews, I was pleasantly surprised to get a response back immediately with an offer to be out to our house with 15 minutes!! Shawn was extremely kind, helpful and quickly got our unique locking mechanism back in working order! I greatly appreciate his quick services, expertise and extremely reasonable pricing! We will definitely use this company again in the future for all of our needs! Thank you again!

Shawn at A1 Locksmiths is amazing and super helpful. He went over and above on customer service. He made me some extra keys. I look forward to working with Shawn at A1 again! I definitely recommend his services.

Shawn (the owner) at A-1 is fantastic! He's very kind and caring. I had called him a couple of weeks ago after contacting a rival locksmith that wouldn't help me. I explained the situation I was in to Shawn over the phone and he took the time to come help me, despite having been called out somewhere and being on the way to that call. After he was able to let me into my home, he spent another moment making sure I was alright, given my high anxiety during the initial call. I am forever grateful to him as a professional and a person alike! If ever I'm asked to recommend a locksmith, I'm recommending A1 for sure!

Everything about Shawn at A-1 was great! Super helpful answering all of my questions, willing to drive to Lincoln for us . We have some unique doors so Shawn ran a few approaches/placement options by us before installing. Couldn't be happier

Shawn (the owner) was right on time & very friendly. He did a very thorough job & explained what he was doing all along the way.I had many questions about new types of locks that we may eventually get (keypads, etc.) & he was very knowledgeable. He recommended the Schlage brand so it was helpful to be pointed in the right direction to make any future lock decisions.It's great to know that our home security is now upgraded. It's worth the $ to let a professional do the job quickly & well! I will use this business again when needed.Services: Lock rekeying, Repair hardware

I was doing house projects over the holiday season. I had to replace locks on three exterior doors new knobs and dead bolts, all on the same key. I called two places in the B/N area to see if they did work in Lexington. Both responded quickly, but when I had follow-up questions, only A-1 responded back. He was able to do the work quickly and in my time frame, plus, the price was right. We did all the planning over the phone and set up a date. He called before hand to make sure I was there and showed up on time. The work was quick, friendly and professional. He had to re-drill one of door locks because the original work was not correct, no problem. He noticed two of my doors were not flush with the frame, but he fixed that by tightening the hinges and even adding some missing screws, no extra charge. He worked hard for customer approval and got it. Highly recommend.Service: Door lock & bolt hardware installation

I recently moved to Bloomington and purchased a new home. I called A-1 on a Friday at 9am and they were at my house by 1230pm. So it took them just a few hours! How's that for speedy! Shawn, the owner, was pleasant and swift. He changed 3 deadbolts and 2 levers. He also made us 5 keys. The bill was roughly $125.I was very pleased with Shawn's job. He was fast and did a great job. I would hire him again and would recommend him.

Great, speedy, and professional service. Wanted all of the locks to be keyed the same in my home and Shawn came to meet me after I spoke with him. He knows what he's doing, got all four locks re-keyed and made me a couple of duplicates. I would recommend A-1 to anyone looking for locksmith services! A+

I called this morning and they explained things well. We made an appointment for Wed but he asked if he could call if a couple appointments didn't take as long as anticipated. I used A-1 to update all of the interior and exterior doors of my new business. They were here within the first week. After re-keying all of the doors, they added an additional security bolt and even engraved/stamped each set of keys. Much appreciated. Will use them again when I'm ready for security cameras.

Shawn was very friendly and the keys work great. I have went to Walmart and other places for door keys made and then they do not work. Shawn changed our back door key because it was lost $3 a piece for new keys..wow.Service: Security door locksService: Security door locks

Simply Amazing. Shawn pulled up. I walked inside to get my wallet. He was done. 25 seconds and he had door unlocked. Thnx. A-1 is the only locksmith I will call.

HIGHLY recommend Sean over at A-1 Locksmiths!!! He went above and beyond for me in cutting keys for a candy machine. He even ordered the part I needed off of Amazon for, cut the keys, and dropped of my machine! He couldn't have made this any easier! Customer service is TOP NOTCH! I will use him for any future needs I have. Thanks Sean!
