These guys perhaps are the laziest bunch. Bought 4 tires from them yet they complained my lugnuts were too tight to mount them & made me go back & forth to a different tire shop for replacement. Came for oil check for 3pm appointment & at 5pm they said oil filter is too tight and they cannot do oil change! Reading their reviews I find that they say this TIGHT excuse to cover their laziness! Waste of time

These guys are the best. My rear passenger tire was bulging outward and I couldn t even drive over 30mph. I called and the guy said they could take a look and replace it. When I got there, they replaced the tire with a new one and were very quick about it too. I really appreciate these guys and their kindness.Service: TiresService: Tires

Terrible experience. Will not return. Made an appointment for tire mounting (purchased tires from tire rack), when I got there service was initially confused why I was even there. After less than hour, they called me saying they couldn t do it because my vehicle was too rusty , when I asked for further explanation they could not provide it. I ve had my car serviced regularly and it was the first time I hearing this. I was able to schedule and complete the mounting at the Rolling Meadows location without a hitch. Save your time and energy.

After making me wait 2 hours to patch a tire, which I expected, they cancelled service citing the problem as, "the mechanic couldn't get the screws off." To call them "mechanics" before he referred to the lugnuts as "screws" immediately told me that it was a good thing that they cancelled my service...took it to a real mechanic at 3pm and told him I could leave it the next day too and he called me back at 5:30 the same day with it done and under Walmart's pricing. Don't say you weren't warned if you read this.

Anthony manager and his team is great . My car was very low I came multiple times here finally I was helped today and change my tyre .

Bought 4 new tiresWent to get them installedBut the guy said he couldn t remove the nuts because the socket didn t fit all the wayWhen I mentioned just tap the socket in with a hammerThey all got scaredEven the guy walking around with the clipboardObviously there newI told them, just put my tires in the truck and I ll take them to a real shop

The gentleman who changed my oil was more professional than the Buick dealership! I choose to pick my own oil and then have them install it. He even left the empty oil container in my car to show he used the oil I paid for. Best oil change in years in half the time of the dealership.

Never had such a bold face lie from a mechanic shop. Came in to patch a tire and they tried to make me get a whole new set. After a long wait, they told me the nail was in the sidewall so the tire couldn't be patched and I would need to buy a new one. Then they told me my tires were the "wrong size" for my car so they actually couldn't replace just my 1 leaking tire because they couldn't put the "wrong size" tire on my car for liability reasons, so I would need to purchase an entire set of new tires from them. Drove my car to another auto shop, they saw me with no wait, showed me the nail (which was NOT in the sidewall), patched it quickly and I was on my way.TLDR: this place is all the scammy stereotypes of mechanics. Do not trust them

Don't waste your time here. I came here to get my flat tire fixed and ended up waiting 3 hours before they even checked in my car. And another 2 hours before they told me they can't fix it.Don't bother here

This place is very bad. Service staff in oil change and tire rotation they will take 3 hours I was here 3:37 to 7:15. And the staff will go every 15 minutes for Smoked. I don't even see the manager here

Customers need to be careful here because immediately after leaving this service, in service parts become non-service. After leaving here in two minutes and replacing new tires, the in service ABS pump became non-service , which was immediately shown by the dashboard of the car non-service . And I had to repair the ABS pump which was very expensive. Here is such a tire change at Walmart auto Center. As a result of unskilled actions of staff . By actions clearly expressed signs of useless staff and even deliberately break serviceable parts. A client who comes here risks breaking something else in his car :( . It is advisable for clients to make a picture of the place where the car going repair before and after the repair. In the future, for security reasons avoid dubious specialists with dubious qualifications. In a one word, the staff at this auto center is a quiet horror.

My car oil change has been done. It s been half an hour, there is no one on the counter to deal with me or any of the 10+customers lined up.Also, I found milk expired 7 days ago on their shelves, when talked to customer service about it, they chose to not take any action.

Great place and price for a regular oil change. Topped up my fluids, checked tire pressure, made sure there were no leaks. Pretty good if u ask me, will def be coming here again. Idk why the place has such bad reviews. I've gotten my tire rotation done here too last year and they did better than expected. Price point is what does it for me. Helpful employees as well.

The worst place. Never ever come back. I ve waited for 3 hours and didn t get my service done. Everyone gone for the lunch which means will wait another couple hours. Very disappointed.

It s Walmart Auto. I don t expect perfection, but the lack of urgency from staff and the wait times are frustrating. Employees are usually fine to work with but they re understandably tired and annoyed with customers and their general environment. They are severely understaffed, have bad time management, and don t process walk-in services efficiently (they don t do appointments). I would suggest getting here when they open at 7 AM or going elsewhere if you want your car to be finished within 1-2 hours. I came in for a battery replacement at 10:30 AM on a weekday and they didn t even get my car into the bay until almost 2 PM even though I was second in line and there were multiple mechanics in the bay. My battery has been corroding on the terminals and losing charge after each drive, and after waiting almost 4 hours for them to even check the battery, they tell me I now have to wait another hour for them to charge and retest the battery for the warranty to be honored. The manager was terse and unapologetic. I only came here because my battery replacement was under warranty and I dread the day I have to return

The 4 stars fell to a 1 star on the last visit. Sexist and horrible service.On this last visit, while I had to do something to do I had someone take my car to Walmart and she had a terrible experience.I bought the tires to be shipped to the store and the appointment was also made to install the tires.The people at the register as well as the technicians have a miscommunication, while she asked to put the new tires and the front tires in the back while getting rid of the back tires.They were going to put the new tires in the back and that was it.Because the technician read the notes to put the new tires in the back. Perhaps the customer should talk to both so it could be clear or something has to change.Also she requested to restore the headlights and after an hour, the car was out and the restoration was not done.They said it did not need it, and it clearly does need it, they just did not want to do it.Something else Walmart offers is the lug nuts and they refuse to put them on because they were afraid they would break later on. Again I think they just did not want to do the job.And another woman was told she did not need something too.So at this Walmart, their service was way below expectations, unfortunately if you are a Woman, think twice because they will mistreat you.At this appointment, both lug nuts and screws were not installed as requested, the headlight restoration was also not performed.perhaps they do not get paid enough for these so they stay away from these services, So I think Walmart has to either pay them more or hire people that are willing to work for the services offered.I hope the service gets better because my next tires on my other vehicles are probably going to be bought and installed somewhere else.Visit was on February 4 2024, I'll follow up if anybody reaches out about this last visit.

If I could give them zero stars I would. This has to be the most unprofessional Walmart I've ever been to. Auto Care can care less if you get waited on or rendered services. I went there around 4.30 and they made me wait in line 30 minutes and told me I couldn't get an oil change without an appointment. I have never made an appointment for an an oil change, When I asked for a manager, no one bothered to show up after waiting another 30 minutes. The Auto Care team are very inconsiderate.

0 Stars. What a pathetic service. I just wanted to replace my one Nissan Sentra tire and I had to wait over 2 hours for it. They said it will take 45 mins initially. When doing the service, pretty sure they broke my Rim stud where the Nut goes while attempting to Unscrew the nut. They claimed it was already broken and Denied the service on my car. Overall to that they didn't even give me a new Nut saying they don't have any that matches that size. A non sense excuse from a Tire shop. Their manager Ligin has no clue what he is doing. He is very Rude. Never ever going back waste my time.

Asked for an oil change and winter tires to be mounted on my car. Waited SEVEN HOURS. call me right before closing time to tell me that they cannot mount the tires. Took 7 hours to get an oil change. Looked at receipt, it says they checked my tire pressure at 35 PSI, which is what manufacturer recommends. Start my car and tire pressure monitor reads low pressure. Got full synthetic oil too. They wrote 3000 miles until next change on my windshield. So, lied about checking air pressure, possibly lied about putting full synthetic (which lasts much longer than 3000 miles), and lied about mounting my winter tires. Who knows if they even changed my oil!!!!

Terrible attitudes. The workers complained about customers that paid to other customers when they leave. They said my car was done. Forgot to fix the flat tire. Had to wait an additional 2 hours because the guy didn't put my car in the tire fix lane after the oil change. One hour oil change. 3 hours tire repair. I recommend find a shop near home and pay the extra ten bucks. Save hours you can never get back The tall thin guy is definitely a jerk.

Eloise is great! She is a very helpful and nice person. I really like this auto care center for standard oil changes and regular car check-ups. They generally complete the service within an hour, which is quite reasonable.

Refused to honor tire warranty. We had the receipt for the warranty and were within the terms of service. Made every excuse possible to refuse to repair or replace tire. Do not give these rude people your money.

We called this Auto Center multiple times to make a appointment for a tire rotation. We left message and no one replied back. We called back again and was finally transferred to a Walmart representative who told us there was no need to make an appointment, we can come in the next day (Sunday) when the auto center opens.We drove around 20 miles to this center to get the tire rotation the next day. When we got there, we were informed by the auto center representative that they cannot do it because of severe understaffed. They don't have time to do the tire rotation. We were told to come back during the weekday. It was a waste of time.

This establishment is very unprofessional!They are not efficient, I had an appointment at 5pm. Didn t start my vehicle till 6. Like my time isn t valuable. I will not be coming back.I also do not like how they have the African American gentleman in the back working by himself. Dealing with numerous customers back to back with no help.If I could give zero stars I would.

Just got done with tires on July 24th around 5:30pm, everything went okay until I saw one of the workers/technicians drive a customer s car recklessly in the parking lot. When he came out I asked is this how you drive a customer s car?! He said yeah . The disregard for customer property was just on display. First and last time in Niles Walmart auto for sure. Wow.
