Very happy with the service and price. I went for an oil change last week and the Meineke team sent an inspection report (with photos) via a link so I could see what needed work. After speaking with them they offered me great pricing and had most of the issues done within a few hours. Again, this was not planned work. Their customer service is great and I feel like the cost for all the services were fair and would highly recommend. I m specifically impressed by the report they provided with pictures of the actual part or damage. Very smart!

They took my vehicle In immediately. Had an oil change. Took roughly 30 minutes. Cost $84 . They were friendly and provided an inspection report without being pushy. Great team! I will return!

Denise at Meineke was extremely helpful and kind, and the rest of the staff were knowledgeable and kind as well. They also provided a courtesy inspection including photos of what they saw and estimates of what the repairs would cost. Will definitely be coming back.

No longer Northshore Motorworks who had honest pricing and did solid work. Now a typical chain garage that overcharges for parts and labor. The manager seems to be friendly but pretty sure it s not genuine because he is the one that prices their ripoff jobs. Got burned by them because I was in a bind and needed my car fixed but I will never return here. Anyone looking at this should definitely believe the negative reviews about overpricing and go somewhere else.

I received outstanding customer service at Meineke Niles on 7420 N Milwaukee Ave. Jessi Ramos, in particular, stood out with a thorough explanation of services and a detailed inspection of my car. Despite living near CarX, I chose Meineke due to the exceptional treatment I received when calling, making a significant difference in my decision. They are honest and do great work. Took my car when my tail pipe broke off at the flange that connects to the muffler. They welded it and did a fantastic job.

The reputation of North Shore Motor Works must have been earned while they were an independent shop. I was concerned when finding out they're now Meineke and i should have followed my instincts. It has all the flaws of your typical national auto shop franchise: slick sales tactics and EXTREMELY overpriced and expensive products. I went in due to a wobbling steering wheel. Inspections revealed that my tires are badly worn, need an alignment and also somehow some rear shocks. The price quoted: $2700!! I asked for a price breakdown and the shocks alone were over $900!! the tires quoted were almost $300 per tire! They play that game of "im just quoting what the computer suggests". see thats the "Meineke effect". Same issue as any Firestone or CarX. Do yourself a favor---save your money and go elsewhere. This shops good days are behind it.

TL;DR - They couldn't fix my main problem but they tried to upsell me on other things like $900 for tires.A few weeks ago my car was having issues running. The engine would randomly stall while I was driving so I took it to Meineke to get it checked out. I explained that the car would stop running randomly but turn back on shortly after stalling. The manager told me they would give it a free inspection and let me know what the problem was.After a few hours I get a call from the manager and he tells me about a bunch of work the car needs that is unrelated to the reason I brought it in. After he talks about all of these other problems, I asked about the stalling and he just says "yeah I don't know man... there's nothing else I can check. It all seems good on my end." He then tells me about a payment plan for all the other fixes. I respect the honesty, but why would I get all these other things fixed when they couldn't even make my car run? The prices for some of the things were crazy as well. They quoted me over $900 for 4 new tires. Any tire shop will do that for half the price, maybe less, depending on the tires.I ended up taking my car to another mechanic, and they spent a few days with the car to figure out the problem, and it was a cheap fix. Looking back, it seemed like they didn't wanna spend the time at Meineke to diagnose the problem. The free inspection is definitely useful, it's just misleading because it can sometimes be a tactic to upsell. If you do go here, just make sure you do your research before you get any work done because you might be able to save yourself a decent chunk of cash if you look elsewhere.

Go for oil change they asked me to put new oil cup for 130 $ and they told me to change another part that I changed few months ago for another 134$ knowing that those part both cost only 24$ when I checked the car by my own I figured that the part are okay they just tried to get some extra money so be careful from this shop if you're ignoring the basic stuff in mechanic because they're gonna screw you. Another thing they're talking with each other in different language so you not gonna understand what they talking about and this is not professional at all .

My name is Arthur samuel, I took my car to Meineke to have the air condition fixed.I talked to Robert the manager a true gentleman he assessed the problem and assigned it to a mechanic to work on it.They went through the entire system and checked everything while keeping me updated on what were they doing. I felt comfortable knowing that I had good and honest people working on my car within an hour and half they diagnosed the problem and had it fixed. The charge was very reasonable I paid for it and thanked him for his service. I would recommend This place to all my family and friends .

Terrible price. Change oil for AUDI A7 2012 cost 110$but change for TOYOTA PRIUS 2010 $130 !!!!Guys are you serious? capacity of oil big different but you charge extra, im so disappointed. I m add documents you can check it. So if your reputation important, check this and let me know dear Maineke Car Center p. s. Jessi manager really friendly and nice guy
