I was recommended by a friend to come to M & A auto service for any car problems I had. A few days later I was hearing scratching and rattling noises coming from my front end. Not knowing what it was, I went to the M & A to get it looked at. I was seen almost right away and the problem was diagnosed shortly after. As a female that doesn t know much about cars, M & A was honest and upfront with me. They showed me what and where the problem was and they fixed it with a good price! I m so glad I went there. This will be my new shop that I will go to from now on.

Can't say enough about what a great experience I had here. This is one of those rare mechanics you can trust to do solid work and not to oversell you on unnecessary replacements or "repairs". My work was done well and done quickly. I'll definitely come back again!!

Being new to Niles in 2014, I was so fortunate to have found this honest and upfront owner owned auto repair shop . I dealt with old owner Alex and now new owner Hani . I have moved from Niles but continue to bring my car back for repairs . Thank you for the wonderful service for the past 10 years !

I wish if I can give them more than 5 stars, Hani is very friendly manager and the staff are professional, they don t give guesses, they explain the problem scientifically, and then they fix it. I like how they have graphs everywhere and how they use it to increase your mechanical knowledge about your car.Prices are fair, I have a peace of mind now because it took me long time to find professional mechanic.

I initially took my car in sometime in 2019. I found a Groupon (not sure if Groupon still exists for auto shops anymore) I am SO glad I came across this place because honest and excellent mechanics are super hard to find! (Like good doctors and dentists) Anyway the owner Hani was pleasant and professional from the very first phone call! This man is vey intelligent and really knows his stuff. He and Mike, one of the service technicians, do excellent work. I have already taken my mom's and daughters' car there as well as recommended M & A Auto to everyone because it's the only auto repair shop I ever use. One last thing... Every customer I saw coming or going was also happy with their service and many other people just stopped by with well wishes. I'm so happy I finally found an honest and fair auto repair shop! Thank you Hani!

M & A provided exceptional service and offered competitive prices. When I visited another establishment, I received quotes that were multiple times higher. Moreover, they presented me with an extensive list of problems accompanied by exorbitant prices.However, after bringing my car to M & A and entrusting it to Hani, I experienced a remarkable level of trustworthiness. They conducted their work with great professionalism and managed to surpass the prices offered by their competitors by a significant margin. I have been here twice so far and I don t think I will ever go anywhere else again. The owner and mechanics are so thorough, efficient and humble. They really know what they re doing and you can tell everyone loves what they do and have great positive attitudes and are kind. As a woman going to a mechanic by herself, I feel like they treat me like they would a daughter, they care about. They all have my trust completely! M&A auto service do a great job when it comes to completing a job in a fast and timely matter! I always take my BMW here for oil changes. They re super professional and super fast! 10/10 would recommend to anyone in need of oil changes and or auto repair services!

Checked in at M&A at 8AM on Saturday, Had a noise increasing when speeding and lauder when turning left coming from the front of my Honda. Michael diagnosed the issue as a front right bearing needs replacement, also suggested to replace front breaks. Hani, the manager, ordered needed parts promptly. Fawaz did the work and test drove the car, and walked the extra mile and adjusted tires pressure. I was out by 10:30 AM, price was reasonable. Now, my Honda is running as quiet as a Bentley. Thanks M&A team for a flawlessseamless transaction.

This place is small but efficient, my oil change was done within 10-15mins. Plenty of parking space, easy access to main roads. And the best part is they offer discounts. Manager Hani is very helpful and friendly and easy to approach when i have questions or concerns about my car. I will be coming here again and recommend it to my friends. Im glad i found them on Google maps.

Great, speedy, professional work here every time. My dad and I both get our cars fixed here. A car salesman friend came with me once when I needed my tire replaced and said it was the fastest service he's ever seen. Recently went to a nearby dealership to get recalled parts replaced, and they wrote me $2K worth of other things that need to be done "within the next 2 months." Came here to get it double checked - not one thing needed to be done, other than the regular oil change and tire rotation. Hani printed me a maintenance schedule for my make/model so I know what needs to be done when. I noticed my brakes making noise after I got off the highway. I called to see if they could take me. It was a Saturday so they said that they could take a look but not guaranteed that they could fix anything that day. When I brought it in, they were incredibly helpful and explained everything very well. They did in fact fix it that day and I was so grateful. I felt taken care of the entire process. As we all know, finding a quality auto service center has its challenges. I recently had an issue with my 2008 BMW. So I began my Google search to find a local mechanic. I visited a few shops in the northwest suburbs most were unkempt and messy. While waiting my turn to speak with the owner of M&A Auto Service, I noticed the mechanic who just finished working on a car. He began sweeping up his stall and even swept the next stall over. I learned long ago, that a messy workplace is an unorganized workplace. So I gave them a shot at taking care of my repair. Everything went smoothly and efficiently.A. Fair pricedB. Just moved to area and found m&a auto. Car was overheating and thought it was water pump and radiator. The patiently did every test to find out it was a thermostat. Highly recommend you bring your vehicle here for an honest mechanic. Thank you m&a auto.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

It is hard to find such an honest business nowadays especially in auto repair shops. These guys were great !! Helped me out so much. Very professional, but obvious they go the extra step to get to know their customers. The owner who owns this place is a very nice guy and his charges are very reasonable.Do not hesitate to bring your car to this place as they will go above and beyond to meet your needs, fix your car and let you leave as a very happy customer ready to come back. M & A always takes the best care of me and my car. Any time I have an issue, they take care of it and provide great service. I d recommend them to anyone. Especially as a woman, it is easy to be taken advantage of in this industry. I completely trust that M & A will always be fair and help me understand what is going on with my car. I ll never take my car anywhere else if I can help it!

Mike was a big help. I called ahead and he was able to check my car out right away.As a woman it feels very intimidating to walk into an automechanic shop but he made me and my mom feel very welcome. I also saw another lady come in and she was nice and felt comfortable around Mike too.I told him I suspected my tires were squeaking and he didn't once belittle me or try to 'mansplain' anything. He used very simple words and showed me my tires and told me my rotor was rusty that's why it was squeaking.The prices were really good and we didn't feel ripped off at all. If I have any other problems I will definitely be going nowhere else. Service was fast too.Service: Brakes

I honestly have no idea why there are any reviews less than 5 stars for this business. Not only was the service amazing, but the owner was also super friendly and was able to make me feel welcomed from the second I walked in. The oil change service I came in for was as simple as coming in and out, everything was taken care of without any trouble. They also took care of my check engine, which turned on due to some thermometer problem. However, I wasn't charged for anything extra other than the oil change. I highly recommend this place for anybody looking to get any car service.Note: Two customers came in just to say Happy New Years to the owner and gave him a holiday gift, which proved even further that the owner just loves to make his customers feel welcomed.Service: Oil change

First time at this establishment and was treated very well, Mr. Hani is a very friendly person. I Had a diagnostic done to pin point what service I needed fixed, parts were ordered. the next day the car was fixed and ready in 2 hrs as Mr. Hani stated. This is one satisfied customer and Would highly recommend M & A Auto Service

We were stuck 3 hours away from home with our truck and camper, on our way to a camping trip, due to discovering our truck was leaking fuel underneath. This shop was close to the hotel we had checked into and the online reviews were good. I called Hani first thing in the morning to see if he could help us (fully expecting that we would have to wait 2-3 days for any shop to be available), and he said to bring the truck in, he would see what they could do. Two hours later our fuel line leak was repaired and we were back on the road, camping trip saved!! Hani Youssef showed compassion and concern for our predicament and our safety, and we are so grateful! Our daughter now lives in Chicago so we will be sure to have her call Hani when she needs work done on her car! Thank you to M&A Auto Service! You are the best!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Called M & A after taking my car to Bredemann Toyota in Park Ridge to have my brakes recalibrated. I have had my 2007 Toyota Highlander hybrid for over 10 years now and know that when I change a break caliber on it the system has to be recalibrated with a special scanner. I have tried several shops in the past who were never able to do it because they don't have the proper scan tool and have accepted that it just has to be a Toyota dealer that's has to do it. So the last time in 2018 I changed my rear passenger caliper and took my car to Bredemann Toyota dealership for them to recalibrate the system which they did. But this time they said they would not recalibrate the system unless they changed the caliber that I had already changed which is the rear driver caliber. They also charged me 160 dollars just to look at and by look I mean hook up the scan tool that told them my caliber was bad. M&A when I called said they would not charge me for running the scan tool on my car to make sure they could fix it. After scanning my car with the tool they were able to recalibrate the system and only charged for the hour of labor it took them to recalibrate the system. They were very friendly and helpful and didn't try to fix something that I had already replaced. Big thanks to A & M Auto

I found M and A through a google search to see that many of you left great reviews and decided to give this place my service (changing front/rear brakes). The owner Hani was great at communicating with me through email and then in person. The work was done in a very timely manner and Hani let me take a look at the old brakes as well. I appreciated the professionalism and the transparency along with the affordable prices. I definitely highly recommend M and A as I will be back for future services. Thanks again

I cracked my oil pan by accidentally driving over a curb right next to this shop on a Friday night, 2 nights before my move out of Chicago. The owner guaranteed me the car would be fixed before the weekend was over so that I could be on my way back to New Jersey Sunday morning. They managed to get the car done with just 15 minutes remaining until closing when I brought the new oil pan in the next day on Saturday. For such a spontaneous and emergency job I was billed a very reasonable and affordable price, which I thought would run me about twice as much. 5/5 I recommend!!

I had my check engine light on, I brought it in they were honest from the start that I just needed a crank shaft sensor replacement. They didn t sell me anything more than what I needed! They are trustworthy & they have my business from here on out!
