Great service. Very knowledgeable. My friend rose pulled down a boat ramp and slid into a dock..right tight to dock. Could not go ahead of back all ice.. wrecker driver got there in no time. And figured out how to get it away from dock..Hooked on it from top of hill slid it over away from dock..Then moved and winched it up icey ramp.. Good service not even a scratch..

Mckays came to the rescue late last night after State Farm was unable to get us a tow service. Mckays was there in about 30 mins, got the car hooked up, and us taken care of at midnight. We are very thankful for the fast, polite and great service we received, even that late at night.

Great experience. Battery died, called Mckay's, they had a tow there in 20 mins, and the invoicing and payment was digital and seamless. Call them!

The worst towing company I ve ever worked with. I called at 4 am website says open 24 hrs and the guy answered and told me he d be able to tow my car around 6:30-7 am so 6:30-7 comes around and he is not answering the phone I called 4 times left voicemails and nobody ever showed up. I would ve appreciated a call to let me know nobody can make it. A complete joke and waste of my time.Service: Car towing

I am the owner of TDK Transport LLC I recently broke down 8 miles from my hotel in Rochelle Illinois on a return trip to Wisconsin. I called McKay s Wrecker Service after finding them on Google. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Unfortunately I did not get their names but if they happen to read this review (young fella and the new guy) they ll know who I m talking about. They were able to get my fully loaded gooseneck trailer dropped at my hotel and let me get checked in before taking my truck to the dealer. Outstanding above and beyond service. Also gave me great advice for the insurance. Thanks again guys! I really appreciate it and highly recommend them!Service: Special vehicle towing

McKay's was professional and very kind when advising me how getting a tow works. He worked with other local companies insuring I get the best service. He was also the best price I found. Needed to have emergency road side assistance in the Oswego Yorkville area Saturday evening. Called my insurance company for a tow and after a very long phone call they estimated our wait time was gonna be 2 hours.Looked for a tow truck in the area through google and McKays tow service came up. Spoke with Malachi and was given an estimated time of 15 min. Guess what, he was there in 15 min got me out safe out of a busy highway and towed to a repair shop of my choosing.He was very prompt and professional. Definitely would recommend his services to everyone I know.Never underestimate the value of a great towing service. Family friendly, professional, clean and treats you with kindness and respect. Not all towing companies do this. I m glad I found this company. If I m ever out with my kids and need a tow, I can feel safe and secure calling this company. Rates are reasonable and up front too. Super impressed. I rarely write reviews...this company deserved one.

I am so happy to have found a local tow service that is quick, reliable and affordable!! They called and let us know when they were close and gave us their pricing up front. It was my daughter's birthday and we were on out way to raging waves in yorkville. Sure enough our truck breaks down - all of us in swimsuits. Got the kids picked up and called Malachi. He was there super fast and took us to the dealership for a very reasonable price. Was so grateful he took us out of his way to bring us home after that. Did not want to walk 2 miles home in my swimsuit! Lol. Would highly recommend this guy! Service: Car towing

An Iowa native on vacation to visit some family, I was outside of Yorkville when my truck started smoking and shut down. McKay was faster than their original ETA and the driver was very professional. So thankful I found McKay's Wrecker Service because they went above and beyond to get me taken care of! Highly recommend!

Rating 1 star because 0 stars wasn't an option. I slid off the road into a ditch during a snowstorm and McKay's came to pull me out. They pulled my car back into the road quickly, but I did not expect the exorbitant price. McKay's did not tell me how much their service would be until they had finished and then hit me with a bill of $525. If you are ever in need of a towing service, do not use McKay. Their predatory pricing takes advantage of people in need.Service: Car towing

My husband was on a narrow back road in Shabbona yesterday & moved over for another car coming in the opposite direction, putting him in really deep snow...without a shovel. He tried to get out & less than 3 cars went by him...none of which stopped to see if they could help. I got there & call McKay's. Malachi got there within an hour (he was on another job) & had us out in less than 10 minutes. I have his # in my phone for future use. Great Job!!

Now whoever has been putting bad reviews on a company before it even got it first truck. Someone is jealous!But here are some facts-1. Check Youtube - WreckerLife videos! Your gonna get Great Customer Service and a operator who cares about your equipment and gonna get the job done safely!2. Customer Service is A++3. Someone that s going to take care of your vehicle like it was there own!4. I highly recommend you calling this company and giving them a chance because once you use this guy you ll save his number in your phone and only use him!Support your smaller company s right now with everything going on in the world!I highly recommend using this company!I know who to call in this area and I own my own tow trucks!Blake

Terrible communication, no sense of time, no follow up with an explanation. Left stranded over 2 hours when the tow truck was "20min away". I'd leave 0 stars if I could. The tow driver legit said he was waiting on payment from where he was and decided to take a nap in his truck, instead of coming to tow us. No wonder it was going on 3 hours. What a joke of a company.Service: Car towing

Mckay's service is awesome! My daughter's car had problems on the way to work, so a co-worker picked her up while I called a tow service to tow her car home. They immediately went out to tow her car then called me back. Based on me telling them that the car was making a horrible noise, they took the initiative to fix the minor problem on the spot then offered to tow the car to my daughter's work so that she'd have her car and I'd be saved a trip to pick her up later. Not only do we highly recommend Mckay's, but all of my daughter's co-workers were impressed and will use them as well. Thank you so much for helping us out!

Flat out lied! Requested for a jump start my insurance company chose them, I knew it was weird that they never called me to say someone was on the way. I called to see what was going on he stated that Allstate called them and said they was using someone else which was a lie, once they assign a rescue that it s Allstate confirmed that they was lying! Horrible way to do business.

Please do not use this company for your towing needs. They are very rude and dishonest. Working for an insurance company, I have dealt with many tow companies but never have I ever dealt with such an incompetent business.

After hitting a deer, we called McKays and they were on site within minutes. Great service at a very reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone!

I have been observing the work done by Mr. Mckay for over a year. I am comfortable he is a professional and honest in his expectations. Heworks well in any weather and is unafraid to take care of his customers.

Our cat had just died. Our car was stuck on a cement slab in the parking lot. Kids in the car sobbing, crazy storm blowing in over our heads and Malachi McKay arrived and slid the block out and freed our car and said "No charge you have had a bad enough day." I will never use any other company except this one! Thank you from my whole family!
