5 stars plus! Whenever I've needed some minor or major repairs completed, Frank and his team get the job done correctly and efficiently. A very honest and trustworthy team in his garage.

Warning!!! This shop installs used broken parts. My truck needed a front diff and axle. I agreed with Frank(the owner) to put used parts in since everything was on backorder and there was a long wait time he also said he would warranty the parts for 90 days. Even putting on used parts took multiple months. I had issues with the diff before I even left and more issues with the axle within a couple weeks of the repairs. I tried giving Frank multiple opportunities to make it right but he never did fix the axle. I recommend finding another shop for your automotive repairs.

Glad I found this shop. I have taken my vehicle here for minor to major repairs. They have Honest pricing and great customer service. Highly recommend!

I have taken my 2014 Kia here on 3 separate occasions. The first and 2nd I did not have issues with, they were informative and fixed my car fairly quickly. But this last time, tbh, I m very disappointed. 1st off they didn t tell me what was going on until I called THEM. The car had been towed there, when I went to drop off my keys no one answered, I rang the doorbell several times. So I put the keys in the car and left a vm about it. When I had to reach out to them about my vehicle, they weren t aware the keys were inside. Then after looking for answers I finally got them. A thousand dollars worth! They changed things that I have been told by several people didn t need changing and failed to fix one of the big issues I was having. They got it running again, sure but for $1,000 it should be running like a dream. The car still puts and fails to accelerate. This was one of many problems I had to come them with. You d think for that kinda $, it would be fixed! I am extremely disappointed and do not think I will be using them in the future as I am going to need someone to actually fix the car. It s really unfair that people, in times like these, spend a grand they don t even have in a car that feels like it s gonna break down again not even a month later. Sorry Jacobs. Idk why you didn t fix it properly, for that much money tho, i shouldn t still be having issues with my vehicle. I am extremely disappointed in the entire experience.

Scammers. Don't go here. Will add on services unrelated to original complaint totaling over 1k. Not fix original complaint and charge a credit card fee. Place is dishonest, preying on people in need. If you're looking for an honest automotive shop, don't go here.

Had a great experience going to Jacob's Automotive! Customer service was excellent! Had to get a brand new transmission and the owner of the company went over every single detail with me made me feel so much better knowing that my car was in good hands!

Quick, convenient, and kind. Both times I needed work done they were able to get me in within less than two days of calling (granted, it was an oil change and headlight change). Jacob's Automotive is the only mechanic I will ever take my vehicles too. Very reliable, trustworthy, and will explain the issue in detail and what needs to be done which is easily understandable for anyone. Highly recommend anyone in the New Lenox area to this shop.

Charged me 500 dollars for front brakes that did not needed to be changed. Car was making noise. The noise still was there after getting changed . Got an oil changed for 75 dollars and I argued that was to much. Not even driven a thousand miles driven since and car has absolutely no oil in it. Scam artists.. watch who you do business with.

When I began to go to Frank, he was the best mechanic I had in a long time. I am not as impressed as his business grew. My last interaction was with my sons car. He is fine and fair, but the exceptional experience I originally had with him was gone. I hope this helps get him back on track.

I went to my dealership at first for an AC repair. They said it was a leak somewhere and told me to come back in 2 weeks. Im like nah thats too long. I went to Jacob's automotive and they were able to fix my AC within 3 hours. Got my car back the same day, AND the problem was much more minor than a leak. I'm very happy to finally have AC in my car.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

I went in for an oil change and then they said I needed a break job. They charge me over $400 for front breaks. Then, I come to pick up my car and they said I needed get the back breaks done. Immediately, I got a bad feeling about this. So I got my breaks checked out by another mechanic and they said my back breaks were in perfect condition. This mechanic is very dishonest and I would avoid him at all costs.

I took my car in for brakes they called me back in a short time telling me my brakes still had 40 percent left I was glad to see a business with honesty I still had my pads changed and engine repaired. These guys were fantastic through the entire process. Had new brakes installed and an oil change completed for a very reasonable price. I won t be going anywhere else locally for auto service.

I was being declined service from Pep Boys, Auto Zone, O'Reilly etc. I have a BMW that seemed to be too complex for them to deal with. Jacobs Auto took the job on a Saturday and had it back within a couple hours. This place does great work and honest. Nothing I have experienced in some time with mechanics. Off the beaten path but so worth it. I will always take my business here.

Frank the owner was great. Found a few more problems my truck had. They are closed on Sundays but he met me there to show me all the bad parts of my truck that was fixed and let me get my truck on Sunday before the work week.
