My car needed a engine replacement and these guys stepped up and knocked it out of the park!!! BEN is amazing he went above and beyond I dropped my car off on a Saturday and they are closed Sunday I had my car back and in perfect working order by the following Saturday!!!!!! They found an engine, took my dead one out, installed the new one with all the fluids a new starter, new plugs and kept me informed the entire time! Very honest and affordable such affordable prices! If your looking for a mechanic or a shop for routine maintenance check them out!!! Gabriel and Ben are top notch guys and great business men!!!

Called early on a Saturday to see if they could fit us in.. said no problem. We arrived 20min later, they pulled the tire & pulled the nails plugged the tire all in 20min. For $20.00. Thanks guys you did a great job!

These guys are the best I switched over to them from bad mechanic. They service my truck the same day which is a big plus for me. Prices are very reasonable. They do anything and everything you can think of mechanically to service your vehicle & keep it in optimal running condition. Thank you for being awesome! I will definitely keep bringing my truck back for any service.

I have been taking my cars to J and B for several years. They are continually fair and honest when it comes to servicing my car. I have two older model(mid-2000's) cars and they have been integral in helping them run well and past their life expectancy. Are there times where I wished I could have had the car back sooner? Sure, but isn't that every repair facility. I've always felt they look out for my best interests both in cost, safety, and still perform excellent work.I look forward continuing to get my tires, standard maintenance, and repair work at J and B.

We had just bought a used Camry and a hitch and were headed to Florida in less than a week. Contacted J&B and they got me right in to put the hitch on. When I picked up the car, I was hearing some noises so I went back in. They were AWESOME. They asked if I had 15 more minutes to do adjustments and got right to it. He even called me on the way home to make sure it was all good and it was! Thanks guys!!!

Roddy took good care of me. I had to have my car towed from Navasota at 3am and decided I didn't want to go all the way to discount tire. I dropped my car off Sunday and despite being closed on Mondays, Roddy reached out and got my new tires. Very friendly and professional. If you live in Montgomery, there is no reason to go all the way to conroe. J&B tires is the place to go.

Great place to get work done. My van had transmission issues brought it in and within 2 days later it was fixed and running great. Ben is a great owner and happy to deal with him. Thank for your great work and with out businesses like you we be with big corporations.

Very professional and courteous place to get your vehicle repaired. I recently had an emergency with my car and got to them as they were closing. They stayed over to repair my vehicle evem still. Very accommodating and nice through the process. I also appreciate how they take the time to explain repairs making sure you understand what needs to be done. I ve have had to go here 3 times all emergency situations. Every single time they were amazing! I ve also known several other people that have used them and again it was nothing but super positive results and awesome service! I feel like they all actually care about my car and will do everything to help save money if they can. It s so nice that I have finally found a place that isn t going to squeeze every last dollar out of me. They haven t seen the last of me! Thanks guys!

I've had all four brakes done and recently they did the front struts. Their pricing was very reasonable, and finished in a reasonable time. I will always use these people. Very pleased.

I think it's important to recognize that J&B is a tire shop and not an auto repair service. While they do offer repair services, I've had limited success with them in the past. To provide some examples -1) Several months ago, the check engine light came on in my vehicle. My car was due for an emissions test in 60 days (and if your light is on, then you automatically fail), but that was plenty of time to get the car fixed. We dropped it off at J&B in the morning and picked it up later that day.We originally thought the issue pertained to an old/bad gas cap. We got a new one, but the oxygen sensor was still tripped, so they cleared the computer's history (which resets the light) after not identifying other issues. (Now, emission test services can tell if you've recently cleared the computer history, so you typically have to drive ~200 miles to convince them that the problem has been solved.)After driving the car for ~50 miles, the light came back on. We took it back in, and they replaced a part (I can't remember what it was), claiming it should all be fixed now. The light came back on, and we repeated this pattern of taking the car back to them, with the light inevitably turning back on. At one point, the light came back on when driving home after picking it up.After a month of this, we started approaching the deadline to get my emissions test. I couldn't manage to drive the car 200 miles without the light coming on, and it was apparent that J&B couldn't fix the issue. I took the car to another mechanic recommended by a family member. He fixed my car within a day, and the light hasn't returned since. It was little more expensive than what J&B charged, but at least he fixed the issue.2) More recently, the driver-side windshield wiper stopped rotating after some extremely cold temperatures. My dad spent some time looking at it, and identified the issue as a loose cap that connected the blade to the motor. Unfortunately, he had to leave town and couldn't fix it, so I took the car to J&B, per his recommendation. When I called to get an update, they told me that they had to replace the entire motor blade system, claiming it was 'all bad' (I'm not exactly sure what he meant by that). What I thought was a minor issue cost me $175, but at least it was fixed.A day later, my brake light came on, and I noticed I had a leak. Of course, I can't prove to what extent they caused that to happen, but I am suspicious.In short, I've had enough bad experiences with J&B, so I've started taking my vehicle elsewhere. My dad swore by Ben and Gabriel as the most decent mechanics in town, claiming they were fair and good people. And they do seem nice, but I'm not sure when it would make sense for me to take my car back there.

Great service, great work, and fair prices. I repair my own cars and only send them the jobs that would take me too much time or that I don't have the tools for. They have repaired two of my sons vehicles and I was impressed with their work. Very knowledgeable and professional.

Honest and hard working. I m so glad I found this place. They have flexible hours and I ve never had issues. Oil changes are quick. Staff are very friendly! Was recommended by my fianc� and I m recommending to my family and friends!

I m so glad I found this place. They have flexible hours. From oil changes to brakes, tires and tunes ups, I've never had any issues. The staff is very friendly, honest and hard working.

My car broke down across the street from J&B and one of the mechanics was nice enough to check it out and help me get it to the shop (car barley made it). It was just about closing time so they called me the next day with the problem and cost ($425 - parts and labor). I checked another shop in New Lenox (with a good reputation) and they were significantly cheaper even with a $85 charge to tow the car there.It turns out that the error codes were cleared at J&B before it was picked up so that the other shop didn't have anything to go on. I could not believe that they would do that because I picked a different shop. I would have given them 5 stars for how friendly and helpful they were up until I found out they did this out of spite. I'd try to avoid dishonest auto shops..Anyway, the other shop fixed the problem and my car is back..

Had my battery die on me the afternoon before leaving for vacation. Brought my car there and they had me in and out in under a half hour. Would definitely recommend.

Ben is a scam artist! The only reason I am giving 1 Star is because it won t let me give NO stars! Brought my car in a month ago for a power steering line. $170. 3 weeks later cat back in for a power steering line because the seal was messed up, I ll fix it new power steering line cost $0 but go figure, the ball joints are bad Dave great how much will that cost? $110 great fix them. Go in the next day to pay, that ll be $270 you told me $110. Oh sorry I meant $110 EACH. Okay ya got me. Pull out in the car, sounds like the front end is going to fall off. Bring the car back AGAIN, oops put the rotors on the wrong sides, that ll be $45 go in to pay $45, nope, that ll be $170. SCAM ARTIST! I ll be in contact with the better business bureau. My advice, go elsewhere and have it done correctly

Great bunch of guys and great mechanics no job to big or to small they always call with the problem and price and always get it done the same day they are honest as the the day is long and very reasonable I would highly recommend great bunch of guys even if I'm not sure if there's a problem they look at it without a problem and if it looks good they are honest and tell you its fine I respect that other placeswill find all sorts of problems been there and done that keep up the great work guys we appreciate it.

Worst, Worst, Worst place to bring your car!!! Do not do it, I repeat do not. They scam you out if your money by saying they know how to fix your car then you have like 5 other problems that they won't admit they messed up. Telling you don't do it!!!!!!!!
