These guys are the best in the business! I had a transmission rebuilt by Elite, and I always use them for my maintenance. Have been using them for years! Highly recommend!

I just want to say that Tony is the real deal, he s exactly what I look for in a mechanic. I had my transmission replaced by a couple years ago here at Elite and he did phenomenal work; I didn t have any issues. However, I recently needed a new transmission for a different car I now own and unfortunately wasn t able to use Tony but when I went to him for advice regarding pricing that another shop gave me, he was completely transparent and very honest with me and recommended the best solution even though it didn t involve using his shop. :( I will never again use another transmission shop but this one. On top of it all, even after I had no choice but to go with the other shop I ended up having another issue with that shop and called Tony to see if he could potentially fix the issue because I no longer felt safe with the other shop and though he couldn t help himself he still recommended I go to another shop he trusts and provided his insight. Tony goes the extra mile and I was confident when I used him in the past and still confident that he cares about his customers! Tony seems to run his shop off integrity!

Tony is very knowledgeable. He pointed me in the direction on getting a used transmission. I found one with only 11K miles and had it shipped to the shop. once it arrived, I dropped it off at the shop. Tony and his crew had me back on the road in two days at a fair price. I needed my clutch replaced, bob's auto body in Blue Island reccomended Elite Transmissions in Alsip, Il. This place was a revelational experence in automotive repair. My 12 year old yaris runs now like new. I now know that i'm good for another 100K miles on the road. Elite is the Best! Better by far than the rest. I met Tony and his team 2012 when I needed a rebuilt transmission. I did a google search and felt comfortable with him, he did the work and it was great. I m a single mom with no real ties or connections to anyone here, but I trust him and feel like he s Genuine and operates his business with integrity and passion. I understand being a hairstylist, your reputation and your work makes your business, when you care and are passionate, professional..it shows in your work. I would and will recommend Elite Transmission to anyone. Just picked up my Van today. Very pleased and I know if I do have any concerns my warranty Is a Guarantee that they stand behind their work! 5 S from Me!!

This company saved me thousands of dollars when Ford told me my transmission would cost 7k-8k. They worked with me and was honest about what needed to be done and did everything they said they would for a reasonable price. I would recommend checking with them before you take your automobile anywhere else. I will be using them again and recommending them to all my friends and family. Great job Elite transmission and thank you for your reliable service.

Nothing but great things to say. It is an amazing trans shop. From regular service to warranty replacement they do it all and they do it well. The owner is quick to handle any problems that come up. Most importantly they always answer their phone when you need them.Long story short good people to do business with.

These guys were recommended by a machine shop. Elite transmission fix my transmission that I messed up on install. They only repair what needed to be repair and not charge me for unnecessary work. The mechanics were helpful and make sure to answer the customers questions and care about making sure the installation process is correct (I removed and installed the transmission myself).The employees at Elite don t make you feel like an idiot when you broke your own transmission by mistake. They help find and correct your mistake. The guys here have accumulated a lot of knowledge and it shows.Thank you!

Elite transmission was a life saver!!! I had taken my vehicle to Mulitistate transmission in Blue Island, NEVER GO THERE!!!. They had my van for a month and still could not fix the transmission. I removed my van from that place and had it towed to Elite and my van was fixed in one week. Tony and Peter were two very nice and helpful people in my situation. They opened up the transmission, and immediately knew what the other place had done wrong and fixed the problem. Thank you Tony and Peter for all you help and great work. You guys are the best!!! :)

Just picked the car up and so far so good.Great work and customer service. work comes with a warranty and a 2 week follow up visit. Highly recommend this place

Beware of Elite Transmission Shop located at 4617 W. 120th Street, Alsip, IL. This is what I experienced with the owner of the company, his name is Tony Monaco. I was victimized by fraud, deception and unfair method used by this company. I no longer trust (Tony Monaco) the smooth talker. Beware do not pay with cash. Excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff. I felt like I was dealing with family that made sure everything was done correct and I was happy with the service! Will return if ever needed and definately would recommend to others

2 trucks and 10 rebuilt transmissions later at $1800 damn near each time. Took 3 months and now 2 months later and same problems again. If you need to go here, just buy a new car, it will save money period. Lost my home cause of Tony and his workers incompetents.

They kept their word as to when my car would be finished. They provided a detailed invoice which included follow up care and they had me come back in 2 weeks for a check up.

So last week I go into Elite to have them look at my trans light was on, Hour later Tony calls me to tell me I need a new transmission $7400 thanks for much toilet paper at time but he went above his duty made a phone call for me an found out my trans was under recall so I got a new free of charge thanks Tony
