Location: 5/5: Maybe a mile or less from the on/off ramps. Easy to get to, easy to leave. Enough parking.Ambiance: 2/5: There isn't one. The place is old. Biggest lunch spoon we have ever be given with a meal, maybe that was the niche...Value for $$: 2.5/5: Expensive for the quantity and expensive for the quality. Three people ate for $70 (at a truck stop??)...the Bubba burger, Patty Melt, little Nashville breakfast, cheese curd, and onion rings...with drinks.Cuisine: 3/5: The Bubba burger was over cooked and tasted that way, though the fries were tasty. The Patty Melt on white bread (bottom slice was very soggy) with old cheese tasted just as you would expect and the tater-tots were disappointing...cold, not crispy, and fell apart. However, my son said he loved his little Nashville breakfast...every bite! The cheese curd were very good, but the marinara sauce (which tasted, smelled, and looked like cocktail sauce) was not good. The onion rings were just okay...not great and not bad.Services: 4/5: One server for the five tables that were occupied in the entire restaurant while we were there. We did not get a lot of attention. Orders were taken, drinks were delivered, food was delivered, and one refill was served. That's it. Food took longer because the cook never started our meals after the appetizers were completed. Our server had to redirect the cook to start cooking our meals...which conversation we overheard, no recognition to the customer was made.Hygiene: 3/5: Hygiene: 3/5: Ummm...we usually drink water with our meals. This time we opted for lemonade because of that feeling you get when things may or may not be tiptop. Nevertheless, tables and chairs felt old, though they were clean. The server wanted to reclean our table because it was still dirty. Plates, cups, and utensils were all clean. Bathroom was clean enough.Recommend: 2/5: We will likely not be back.

Used to be a great place to eat stopped in today. Waitress was nice but kinda scatter brained. The food left much to be desired it was edible but not great like in the past. I would have just as soon went to McDonald's and I hate that place. The parking lot was empty it's all pay to park now which I'm not against but start off with ten or twenty spots.

Walked in and didn t even get acknowledge. Sat ourself took about 5 minutes for someone to come over. Waitress took our order with an attitude. Got our food but no silverware. Asked twice and she forgot twice. Hubby ended up walking behind counter and getting our own. Eggs tasted like old fish and ham was hard to eat. She came back once for a refill and didn t even fill the cup up all the way. Will definitely never be back. Bad service bad food and lousy atmosphere.

They were open on Easter Sunday morning, then they closed by dinner time. No signs just locked up and left. They charge a dollar an hour to park, but who do you pay if nobody is there? Breakfast was good.

This Truck Stop is not what it used to be. It use to be full of trucks and hard to find a parking spot. Now there more than enough parking. It changed owners 3 years ago and hasn t been the same since. I ordered a chicken fried steak and got a hamburger steak. The staff isn t the same as before and less friendly. Only one waitress for everyone and she messed up my order. In my opinion the truck stop is only good for the parking. The food isn t as good as it used to be either.Very disappointed.

This gem of a diner claims world fame. If it is not, it sure does deserve world fame. Best dinner I have enjoyed which did not break the bank. I had the open roast beef with some coconut cream pie for desert. Great friendly atmosphere and good service with a smile. Highly recommend the stop if traveling through the area.

Real good food. I stopped in here during my national tour for my hiking YouTube channel "Beyond the Pavement" and I couldn't be happier. I had the fried chicken which comes with the salad and soup bar that was awesome. I also had a piece of chocolate pie to finish it off. Definitely coming back if I'm ever in the area

Ordered breakfast. I should have took the 20.00 for breakfast and went across the street to McDonald's. Maybe that food would have been edible. Eggs over easy . Was well done . The yoke was as done as a hard boiled egg . Biscuit with what they say was white gravy. Top of biscuit was edible bottom was hard enough to patch a trailer floor . Ordered sausage wasn't on the plate . Only thing with eating really was fries . I ate 5 or 6 fries top of biscuit . Sausage finally shows up as I looked at it I felt pity on it as it look dehydrated. Never again . And I paid to park here !!!!

Great little truck stop!! I ate at the restaurant and had some spaghetti with meat sauce, it was very tasty! Although the young waitress asked if she could get me a drink, I said yes I ll take sweet tea, 35 minutes later my delicious food came to the table. She came over and asked if I needed a drink and I said you asked me 35 mins ago I said sweet tea and she said ok. After dinner still no drink and she never checked on me again. Great little place, waitress sucked!

Slow service. Terrible food. Ordered chicken parm. The noodles were over cooked. Sticky and very soft. Ate the chicken and what they consider garlic bread. Told the waitress and still charge me full price. I don't mind paying for food that is edible but that was just gross. Never stop here. Save yourself

Stopped here for my 30 because garmin said it was a truck stop. So happy I found this place by accident! Great breakfast I ordered the little Nashville haystack and some biscuits and gravy. Decent sized portions lots of truck parking spots! Will be saving this location in case I m around here and need some great food or parking

To start with I got there a little after 2 in the afternoon so I understand the buffet has been warming for awhile. After looking at it I found meat loaf was out, mashed potatoes looked like it was a brick. Needless to say I op-ed to just do the salad bar which was just okay. Over the years I've made a point to stop 3 or 4 times a year when I was driving south but I'm not sure I'll bother stopping again

2 only bc it's a truck stop when I needed one. And waitress was nice.Disappointed. 33 dollars for 2 breakfast mealsCoffee was awful. Orange juice had a dirty taste. Bacon was not crispy more like chunk of ham. My man literally didn't eat anything or drink anything and he's been a trucker for 2 decades.Buffet reminds me of school or jail. Large containers of reheated food and metal spoon in a very dark corner of theroom.Paid truck parking. No thanks!

This is probably the worst place I've ever eaten! Service is awful and the food is old and I found a hair in my philly steak and cheese. Yuck! McDonald's across the street is where I'd recommend.

We were so very disappointed. I ordered vegetable beef soup. There was not one single piece of beef.! my husband ordered an 8 ounce ribeye steak, that s his ribeye steak. He did eat half of his potato ! he asked for a loaded baked potato. They gave him a dried up baked potato with a package of sour cream and two small packages of butter as you can tell the buns were were not very appetizing. However, I would give them a five rating on their packages of Ritz crackers. Will never ever stop again. I ve worked at a truckstop in my younger years. I also drove truck. I would have been ashamed to serve such slop.

$14 for a 1/2 lb Rueben on what's supposed to be rye bread but they didn't have any. If they would have told me they didn't have it I wouldn't have ordered it. Very bland an not worth the money unless you want to be disappointed. Fries where also undercooked as well. But hey left them a $4 tip before I took my first bite! So the owner hopefully made a nice profit off a cheap meal. It would be nice if your waitress staff was more concerned with what was on the menu that they actually had available vs catering to their friends. All an all it was a friendly visit!

over the years this place has been passed hand to hand but the current owners are greedy. Very low quality of food for the price and they do not look over each meal.1990s-2017ish was the prime time of this place. Used to be cheap food, great breakfast, Great Lunch, Great Dinner. You wonder why all the good waitresses went into town to other places after the sellout this is the reason Greed, I'll give them a year til they shut down and thats being nice about it.

Go somewhere else! Ordered breakfast burrito, it came looking pretty flat, so I opened it up to add salt and pepper and found it only had meat and cheese. No eggs, veggies, nothing! Sent it back, many apologies from the sweet overwhelmed waitress. She brought it back, this time with a little salsa and sour cream on the side. The onions and peppers had never seen the grill, and the separate egg was clearly only one egg. Hubby's burger looked black on the outside, and 1/3 of the bottom bun was missing. Others near us were complaining they'd ordered soup and it never arrived (2 different tables). Save yourself and go elsewhere. We were there an hour, and it was after 1 when we got there, so it didn't feel like lunch rush time to us, many open tables when we arrived.

This is not a good place for service. I ordered a hamburger steak and after 35 minutes I was still waiting. No apologies from staff or management just excuses. This has always been a good place but lately it is terrible.

Got charged twice for my fuel.Once as a credit card transaction, once as a fuel transaction. They were unable to void out the correct transaction after I specifically told the cashieer to run it as a fuel card and NOT a credit card! The situation has been escalated as an unauthorized fraud transaction.Refusal to void a transaction is UNACCEPTABLE and theft in my book no matter why you can't do it!I won't be stopping here ever again!

Stopping for an overnight stay and unexpectedly found this place when I thought I d have to eat fast food for supper. Glad I did as the food had a homespun feel and the waitresses were very nice and attentive. Next time in the area, I ll stop by again.

The oldest family owned truck stop in the country. One of the few that Loves or the big guys haven't bought out! We loved the food and hospitality!

I had the spaghetti with meat sauce on 02.10.2023 and it is still one of the better spaghetti dinners on the interstate. The meat sauce is right in the middle, not too spicy and not too bland, and it comes served with 2 triangles of toast and spaghetti. It comes with a trip to the soup and salad bar, which was clean and stocked. Repeat customer.
