I had an AEV lift kit, Teraflex front track bar, and wheels and tires installed by Randy at Wildside. I received quotes from several shops but ultimately chose Wildside because of their great reviews (even though they were much further than some other options). The work was completed almost a year ago and I have had zero issues. I will be using them again in the future for other upgrades.

ABOVE & BEYONDSometime if you get lucky someone might go out of their way to do a professional job, be exceptional or above and beyond helpful...So you think seriously that your investment of time, energy and money have been well spent...Wildside is that place! Both Randy and Brian took the time and energy to put their experience and expertise to work on my behalf. A rare quality in a person, say nothing about a company.Thank you for getting me through Phase 1 with my jeep!I'll be back ;)

Our 03 TJ went under the knife for some much needed repairs and a couple upgrades.HUGE thank you to Randy and the extremely knowledgeable and talented crew over at @wildsidejeepThese guys take pride in every part they put their hands on and make sure you're getting nothing but the best result. We had quite the repair list for them to tackle, Including some frame rot, body mount replacement and body repair. They installed a new HD steering kit, replaced our leaking steering box & valve cover gasket, replaced idler and tensioner pulleys, and upgraded front and rear suspension.Randy and his team communicated very well throughout the duration of the repairs and was a pleasure having them work on our rig...We are already planning our next phase of upgrades for Wildside to tackle! If you're in need of any repairs or upgrades on your Jeep, old or new, check out their IG or Facebook page and give them a call!

Place seemed legit. WRONG!!!owner greeted me. quoted me 1hour labor. so I decided to wait. simple headlight upgrade for my wrangler.4 hours later my bumper on the floor told me they were sodering the wires . .bla bla. charges me 4 hours of work. fast forward time. go to a new shop closer to me. they show me how one light had 4 anti flicker adapter tons of electric tape and nothing sodered or done like was promised. my new shop did it in 2 hours the right way and walked me through it. never again will I go there or recommend to my jeep family.

Great experience at Wildside Jeep Customs! I recently had a set of Rockslide Engineering power side steps installed on my 2022 JLUR XR. Despite receiving a faulty step, Randy keep me informed through out the process as his team diagnosed the issue. Great professional customer service and installation. Highly recommend Wildside Jeep Customs.

More than a Jeep ShopAfter 2 years of owning my Jeep JKU, I finally had saved enough money to get some much needed work done on my Jeep. I knew of John from my Jeep club, shout out to Midwest Jeep Alliance and so I knew I would start with him when I needed to get some work done. I totally made the right decision. Even before I even took my Jeep into the shop, I had a chance to work with Kevin, who worked on my gear change, I went from stock 4.30 to 5.13 RevGear. I was unsure of if I should get 4.88s or 5.13. John and Kevin shared their experiences and helped me make my own decision. I started down the path of getting Fox shocks and John suggested getting Falcons, I actually bought the Falcon monotubes from Extreme Terrain but should have got them from Wildside as they could have saved me money on the purchase. The third thing that I had worked on was my Christmas light collection. If any of you have had a Jeep for awhile, you know exactly what I am talking about. Kevin sent me all the codes that I was getting, I had like 6 or 7 and did the diagnostics to get it fixed. For me, it turned out, that it was a right wheel sensor that needed to be replaced. He took that time to go through with me what lights I was seeing, what situations caused them to occur and sent many pictures of the codes and also gave me great details of the codes. It is very reassuring to have someone who not only works on your Jeep but takes the time to understand how you drive it and what could be causing the issue. Kevin also showed me the baddest a** spare tire wheel brake light even though I had one already, this one blew mine out of the water...that will be another upgrade. Okay, lets get back to the regear. Kevin provided me instructions on the break in period and when I need to come back. Hopefully, at that time I will have enough to also change the diff covers. I really couldn't have had a better Jeep customization and repair experience. And one additional thing, you may be able to get some similar things done at a Jeep dealer or another Jeep shop but you may not get to know who is working on your Jeep on a personal level. At Wildside, you will get to know two great people, talk about Jeeps, talk about life, and experience a great shop at Wildside. They made me feel like I have been going there for years and I truly received great service on my Jeep, soooo happy! I can't wait until the break in period is over so I can finally consistently use 6th gear. Thanks Kevin and John!!! You guys and your shop are great!!!Tony

AMAZING TEAM! I can't begin express just how much gratitude I have for Randy and his team at Wildside Jeep Customs. When our brand new Rubicon's new tow bumper install went horribly wrong at Hawk Jeep Forest Park (loose, unsafe, & would have fallen off upon towing) I was SOO fortunate that LOD Offroad (bumper manufacturer) was able to recommend Wildside Jeep Customs as a reputable and reliable location with trustworthy, competent, and truly awesome technicians & leadership. Sincerest THANK YOU to the team here for helping me in my time of need & I'll happily refer all my fellow Jeep friends and family to this location. We'll be back here soon for any JEEP projects moving forward.

This is the best shop I ve ever worked with. They did the full build out of my 2020 gladiator and I couldn t be happier with the build quality. Really knowledgeable staff, and super friendly. They re also not afraid to be honest with you about quality of parts. Very willing to talk with you about ideas and options as well. I plan on using them exclusively in the future. Solid pricing too.

Need ANY work done on your Jeep? Looking for reasonable prices and a team with PHD level knowledge of your precious rig? Look no further! Words cannot express how satisfied I am with the work done at Wildside. Before discovering Wildside, I had window shopped other shops closer to me in the NW suburbs. All of them were making me hesitant to let them work on my Jeep. Some of them were asking for an arm and a leg, others weren't knowledgable about Jeep basics, and NONE were hospitable or passionate/enthusiastic about helping me determine the right setup.. I felt like I was shopping around at Used Car Dealership.Once I connected with Wildside Jeep Customs, I knew I made the right choice. I DROVE AN HOUR AND HALF just because of this gem of a place. And I would do it again and again..Staff: Brian was quick to accommodate my jeep. They were in constant communication with me to make sure I had everything I needed to make my dream mod come true. Dan was the primary mechanic to work on my Jeep. When I had ordered the parts for my lift, Kevin found cheaper prices (under retail) that saved me hundreds of dollars. I never had to hesitate to reach out to him (even after shop hours) and he was always ready to help. The man has a gift. I finally had the peace of mind knowing my jeep was in good hands.Dan and Kevin are geniuses with their Jeep knowledge and skill. He knows how to treat your baby. Words cannot say enough for how thankful I was to have him work on my jeep. You wouldn't trust a nobody with your baby....think of them as a team of neurosurgeons when it comes to Jeeps!!!! They even worked after shop hours because of how passionate he is working on Jeeps. These are the kind of people you want to work with. THANK YOU GUYS!TLDR; Modding a Jeep is fun, but. It's not the kind of work you want to hand over to any shop. Looking for peace of mind, quality work, reasonable proces, and a staff that works night and day to leave you content? Jeep Wildside Customs is the shop for you.

Excellent service and Jeep knowledge! Randy was great to work. In several stages they ve done a front and rear axle swap replacing the Sahara JLU stock axles with Dana 44s, e-lockers, and 4.56 gearing, air bags in the rear springs, new wheels and tires, Teraflex Delta brake kit, 2.5 inch lift, HD tailgate hinge, Genesis dual battery, Trigger six-shooter accessory switch, Warn winch and front bumper recovery shackles, rear facing LED light (great for illuminating the campsite when pulling in at night) hood lock, side steps and rock sliders. All great! Thanks Randy and the Wildside team!

Wildside is an amazing jeep shop. They work on all years. Randy and his team are very professional and never push you on parts, mods, or a sale. They want any modification to be safe. They listen to what you want and do it. They have contacts with all the parts manufacturers. I had a hard lift project for them for my Jeep TJ that had frame issues and they knocked it out of the park. I keep coming back.

Randy & Brian are AMAZING! We drove up to Naperville from Florida to purchase a Jeep from a dealer in the general area. Once we got to the dealership we noticed that there are some problems with the Jeep we were interested in. Being in a time crunch to get back to FL for the work week, we called Wildside Jeep customs to do an inspection on the Jeep to see if it s worth purchasing. With them being busy this week Randy was able to squeeze us in and investigate what s going on for us due to our unique situation. They are very knowledgeable, friendly and their shop is so nice! Customer service 10/10 and I HIGHLY recommend Wildside Jeep Customs for any of your custom build needs!

Wildside is awesome! I got front and rear poison spyder crusher flares installed with poison spyder inner fenders. I could not be happier with the work they did and how courteous they were. Both John and Kelly were extremely responsive to my emails and phone calls. They also stock teraflex parts so if your like me and don't want to wait for snail mail you can buy parts to install yourself. I bought a falcon steering stabilizer from them and installed myself. (I only stick to the easy stuff) I'll definitely be back once I save up some more dough for the next upgrade. Thanks Wildside!

The transmission on my Wrangler blew. Not only did Randy find me a transmission the fastest he worked with my extended warranty. They did a great job & kept me in the loop the entire time. I ended up having more work done. The prices are competitive & they made sure the work was done right.

Kevin is awesome! I echo the review that said, Kevin is an electrical genius!!!! I went to Wildside Jeep customs to have a subwoofer/amp combo installed in my Jeep Wrangler, it was supposed to go under one of the seats, but the way the Jeeps are made now, they have a vent under the front two seats and the back two seats drop down when folded down, but Kevin made it work and the sub is still completely hidden and I have full use of my trunk space! Kevin is all about customer service and ensuring the customer is happy, he listens to your request and fulfills them as well as he is transparent and will let you know if anything needs to be changed from what was discussed. He did such an amazing job!!! Thank you Kevin! I also met John the owner, and he is also a really good guy! Wildside Jeep customs is the best, I got to see a lot of their custom work and all I can say is you can t go wrong bringing your Jeeps here!

I was referred to Wildside by a good car friend of mine and I will cut right to the chase, stop wasting your time and money elsewhere. They re transparent with your bill, they do excellent work, and they will price you out for whatever caliber of build/parts that you need for your jeep. I have never had this level of care and attention given to my Jeep before, and given all they do is jeeps, I was extremely impressed and reassured of their capabilities. Cody and Mike we re who I had the pleasure of working with on some front end steering and death wobble issues. If you re in need of some simple maintenance or it s time to take your Jeep to the next level, get an appointment with Wildside today!

If you want the job done right, you will come here. These guys helped me build exactly what I wanted. They helped me the whole way through. They work their butts off here. They had my Jeep done and ready for alignment in one day. They are extremely trustworthy, sending photo updates at each step of the build. Their pricing is very fair and is well worth the top of the line job you will get. They are always upfront with customers, keep them informed and stand behind their work and parts %. Will definitely be coming back to them to work on my Jeep!

I called yesterday for a tire balance and came in the next day. John did everything to make me feel at home while Dan balanced my tires. I'm very happy with the service and definately recommended Wildside Jeep Customs to anyone needing Jeep service or upgrades!

The owner at Wildside treats your vehicle like his own and does a great job. He constantly sent me updated pictures of my jeep as it was being worked on and easily answered all of my questions. Packaged pricing takes out the concern of what you should have done as he already puts together multiple priced bundles on his website for you. Great experience, I will return for my next upgrade for sure.

John and his team were amazing and helped me out last minute with some Jeep parts I needed to take off as the bolts were rusted through. They were so welcoming and you can tell they are very passionate about what they do! Very reasonable prices and quality service. Highly recommended!

Am extremely happy with work Wildside has done on my 2019 4-door Sahara JLU. Work done on two occasions. First job was an install of AirlLift 1000 coil spring load support airbags to help level my JLU while towing a small trailer. That worked out well, but I decided that I really wanted a proper suspension, so I had Wildside install the TeraFlex CT2 suspension system with Falcon SP2 3.3 adjustable piggyback shocks (and a BOLT hood lock, as I had a tampering incident in the past). The next week after the suspension work, I drove 1500 miles to New Mexico for camping and off-road travel, and also towed a 2000 lb trailer for a bit (and then 1500 miles back to home). Everything worked great no issues whatsoever. The upgraded suspension really improved highway handling and the added clearance was great for negotiating the trails. Special thanks to Brian for his responsiveness to my emails in selecting the TeraFlex suspension kit; special thanks to the installer whose name I don t remember; and enjoyed talking with John (Owner?) who gave me some great advice. Next upgrade is to move to 35-inch tires (and all the miscellaneous stuff that goes along with the increased tire size) and will definitely be reaching out to Wildside when I m ready to do this. I have complete confidence in their work.

Had a metalcloak 2.5 gamechanger lift installed and a set of 33 inch tires put on my JKU. Completely transformed my Jeep. The look, the ride and most importantly the install. WILDSIDE JEEP CUSTOMS nailed it. Thanks to Randy and his skilled team, will be going back for any future upgrades.

My experience with Wildside was great. I was contemplating between two different lift options and Kelly recommended I come in at take a look at them (as there is only so much you can see online). John gave me his recommendation based on his experiences and what he has seen his customers do in the past. As he likes to say, "do it right the first time" which I followed. The installation went great. Very professional and timely. You can tell that they all take pride in the work they do and will go that extra mile to make sure you are happy and explain things to a novice like me.I look forward to working with the team at Wildside in the future. I would recommend for people to check them out for the outstanding work they do and for the knowledge that they can provide.

I ordered a windjammer bow from Extreme Terrain in July 2021, ETA was Feb 2022! Needless to say I called WildSide, they used their expansive distributor base and tracked the part down for me in less than a week! Awesome service, facility, and growing business. Don't go anywhere else to have any mods done to your Jeep!

I cannot say enough good things about Wildside Jeep Customs. I have been considering putting a lift and tires on my Jeep for about 3 years and when I finally decided to do so I started googling Jeep shops in the area and found Wildside. I sent them an email asking a few questions and had a response right away as well as a call from the owner John with some advice on parts, he also encouraged me to come in and take a look at the shop and test drive a vehicle before making any decisions. When I got to the shop it was quickly apparent that John and Kelly are first class individuals that treat you like you are their only customer. I never felt any pressure to make any modifications beyond what I was looking to do. John and Kelly showed me all of the options that were available to me and helped me create my idea of a Dream Jeep.Throughout the entire process they answered any and all questions I had and Kelly was a trooper bearing with me though all my last minute changes! Also, special thanks to Michael Chrysty for top quality work and attention to detail on the final product.Three major takeaways from the experience: 1. Do it right the first time, listen to John s advice 2. Don t think twice about the Mickey Thompson Tires, they are unreal and you won t be disappointed! (I was a skeptic until the test drive and seeing them in person) 3. If you can, go for the Powdercoat Suspension, it really gives the Jeep a custom look and will separate you from the pack!I will be a repeat customer for sure. Thanks again.
