If you are looking for an honest mechanic, check out this place. I went in for a brake job, and after spending about half an hour checking the brakes, Mike told me that my brakes were in good shape, and the sound I heard was due to rust build up on the brakes. He didn't ask me for anything for the time he spent, and sent me on my way after checking the brakes. I still paid him for his time of course.I will be back for sure if I need anything done on my vehicles. Thanks!

Mike is a very knowledgeable mechanic with decades of experience. He does not cut corners or cheap out on any job. You can trust that he will do the job the right way. Mike is awesome! Very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He talked me through some diagnostics right over the phone and had me take my car to autozone to pull the codes. The codes matched exactly what he thought the issue might be based on our initial conversation. That was impressive! Mike generally only works on foreign imports, so he had recommended me to a mechanic to work on my American made car. I can t say enough. Never had that kind of transparency and honesty from anyone in the service industry. Excellent work Mike! Thank you!

Mike was great he fixed my brakes and rotors and did a very great job. I found him on google he helped me get the parts at a really great price than done a great job on labor. I would also like to say Mike is a really great person very trustworthy and reliable. I highly recommend definitely cheapest prices in Naperville/Aurora area .

Mike is the most trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic I know. His prices are always more than reasonable and are the lowest you will find for his high quality service! He lets you in the shop and he showed me the problem. He also bring your own parts!! I wont take my car anywhere else now. Thank you Mike for everything you do!

Mike saved me several hundred dollars from an estimate I received from my dealership. I am so thankful.He was honest, fair, and the repair he completed was finished as fast as I have ever experienced.I would recommend Mike to anyone who needs a trustworthy mechanic. Mike is absolutely amazing. He is a rarity- My husband was driving to work & the car turned off & was blowing smoke. Instead of getting a tow truck- Mike came out to where he was broke down, bought a new battery, installed it on the road & did whatever to get the car to the shop. He THEN drove my husband home, fixed the car in a decent amount of time & CAME BACK TO our house to pick him up. He saved us a tow & did NOT have to be our transport. He has fixed two of our cars & could not be any happier. He also was so honest- with one of our cars there was something special ordered or whatnot & told us he has to do some research prior to taking things apart (He didn't want to charge us the labor time).Mike works on Sundays which is rare to find. He also was so flexible with pick up & drop off. He is so honest, friendly.We have older cars & they run better than ever.He is your Go TO if you want great service, good prices & a mechanic WHO WILL GO OUT OF HIS WAY TO HELPPPPP

I needed to get brakes done on my car. I called after hours and Mike called me back the next day, even though I didn't leave a voicemail. I explained what I needed and we set up an appointment. He has a lot of knowledge about cars. He was willing to explain and answers all of my questions. He did a great job. I would recommend Mike to any of my friends and family. When I need additional work done on my car, My Wife's Mechanic will be the first place I call. The price was cheaper than other estimates I got, too.

After driving a couple hundred miles my transmission light came on. I ended up going to the Honda dealership where they told me I need a new torque converter ($4200) but I was cleared to drive. Before I did my return trip of 425 miles, I found Mike who dug deep into my transmission issue. (Mind you this was ALL on Xmas Eve). Mike changed the transmission fluid and made a point to look at the car quickly on Xmas morning to make sure it's good to go - which it was. On top of all this, Mike did some digging into the torque converter and an older issue with the high pressure fuel pump and he gave me many pages on the Honda documentation and I am working with Honda to get things fixed on their dime. Bottom line, Mike is the best mechanic I've ever worked with and will recommend him to everyone I know in the Naperville (and beyond) area!Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Mike is far and away the absolute best mechanic on the planet earth. It is so rare to find an honest mechanic that actively tries to put the customers best interest in mind. I can t count how many times he has helped my family and I with his honest, no BS approach to ensure our vehicles were safe without recommending any unnecessary parts or labor.I highly recommend him and wish other mechanics took the same approach he does.

The legend of Mike the mechanic grows... The car whisperer..Mike was better than advertised and went above and beyond the service I expected. Extremley friendly, fair, and honest mechanic who truly cares. Mike stayed with my two daughters and I for an extra hour after his shop had closed making sure my oldest's new/used 2009 Honda Civic had a new battery, safe tires (no leaks), and sound brakes. BTW...I only went in for a battery problem. The classic cars, southern rock, and physics conversations weren't too bad either. Mike is the man and the ONLY mechanic I will work with going forward, Thanks Mike!!!

Mike was just what I needed. In a matter of minutes he was able to tell me why my car was making a strange noise and pull up prices for me. He had me buy the part directly from the store and only charged me for labor. He didn t force me into getting my problem fixed that same day but said I had more time until it became an actual problem and he didn t try to get me to buy from him, he knows he has the best prices and if I m smart at all I will get the job done with mike!

Don t know who answered the phone, but why call it my wife s mechanic if you re just going to talk down at women who call? Whoever I got a talking to from went on a complete tangent about anything but my car. Something about how awful fords are to work on? Felt like my calling was just really annoying for you. I just wanted to know how much you would charge to do a drill and tap or for extraction of a sheared bolt in the valve cover on my 2002 Highlander.

Mike is truly the best mechanic I ve ever been to. I was stranded in a parking lot in Naperville around 7 P.M. (his shop was already closed at this time) I called him just to see if I can tow the car to him... and instead, mike drives over himself to try to resolve the issue. He clearly explained everything to me and understood I was a broke college student. He even drove me home so I wouldn t pay for an Uber. By the next day, my car was up and running. He took me to NAPA to pay for the parts directly from the store (with his discount) and treated me like family. This whole thing would have costed me thousands of dollars anywhere else, but Mike took care of me like he does with all his customers. Found my mechanic for life! Thank you mike! A true gem in the middle of Naperville!

Mike is for the people!!! There has been plenty of times mike has helped me or a friend out on plenty of occasions he shouldn t have, such as leaving a wedding and getting up out of bed in the middle of the night to help us out with broke down vehicles. He very easily could have said sorry I cant help you right now, but he never has. Highly recommended and extremely fair prices.

Extremely knowledgeable mechanic. Works primarily on imports, but will point you in the right direction if he can't help you. I had an airbag sensor issue that he couldn't legally fix due to insurance limitations, but got me to the right person.Hes a down to earth, tells it like it is person who knows what he's doing and won't waste your time.

I had previously went to another mechanic because my car was having problems and they told me the repair would be $600 for something simple. I called Mike after googling mechanics near me and he told me he could fix my car for a much cheaper price. I definitely recommend him and he s a very nice guy as well.

We're a car dealer in MA and had a customer out in Chicago that had a new car dealer tell them they needed all sorts of work so we found this mechanic for a second opinion and he was very down to earth and professional. We sent our customer to him and he was honest about what needed to be done and didn't need to be done. Highly recommend!

Mike Albert is litterally one of the most generous and trustworthy mechanics in the whole Naperville/Aurora area. He has a very high amount of experience. He can work on all makes and models but specializes in Japanese vehicles.

My mom started going to Mike 17 years ago, and I have been going to him for 10. He has never sold me a part/service I didn't need, tells me what I will likely need to have serviced next and roughly when to expect it, and is always straightforward and honest. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Paid less than half of what other places were quoting me and Mike took the time to actually show me what was wrong with my car so I can identify it myself next time. Definitely lucky to have found him!
