Hands down, no questions asked, the absolute best shop in the Chicago/Naperville area for anyone looking to do a huge build on their Truck or Jeep or just looking for everyday service on their vehicle. Casey and his team are extremely hands on and customer friendly and are happy to work with you for whatever you need. I just did a huge build on my truck, talked to a lot of shops in the area and happy I went with Maximum Automotive to handle everything as the truck came out even better than I could have imagined. More-so than how the truck came out was how happy I was with the process from start to finish when dealing with Maximum Automotive. I called in the morning, within 5 minutes they were able to take my car in and diagnose my sickly gal. Same day, by 3pm my car was repaired and good to go. I received quotes from 2 other shops that were almost 50% higher for a tricky job with wait times for at least 2-4 business days. The crew was kind and didn't disregard my opinion (very uncommon being a female), they kept me posted throughout the process (I overreact when there's an issue with my car). I think I found my new favorite car doctors. Highly recommend. :)

I have been coming to Maximum for a long time, and I travel quite a distance to get here. Maximum is basically responsible for my build - I doubt that my 2012 would be in such good shape without them. They know their stuff - you can tell from the volume of customers. These guys are amazing! I was having work performed on my suspension and I asked them to take a look at my power steering. They checked it out and never even charged me for it because it was nothing wrong. Great honest people!

Just had Maximum Automotive install my Metal Cloak lift on my 2017 Jeep JK and everything was done quick and right. These guys are great and would recommend when thinking about doing your lift.

Excellent experience coming here for the first time with my Mitsubishi Mirage! My dad was a customer here for years and told me they do fantastic work. Casey was willing to work with my busy schedule and take care of my car first thing in the morning. I got an oil change, tire rotation and asked about some squeaking I noticed while driving. He kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know my driving belt and brakes needed service and how much everythingwould cost. He and his hardworking team took excellent care of my car! DO NOT GO HERE!!! They will tamper with your car so that you ll have to come back and spend more money. I took my car here to get brakes done and my car started having issues the same day after leaving this place. I took my car back after explaining to them my car was experiencing more issues after leaving. Suddenly, I was quoted for a number things wrong with my car. I took it to another shop for a second opinion and it was nothing I was quoted me for! Terrible service and deceitful workers

This place is the best. Absolute total professionals and 100% trustworthy. They service all of our cars and they do it for substantially less than other shops, and a fraction of what a dealership would charge. And they don't try to sell you on services that are not necessary. They recently replaced a stolen catalytic converter for us. They literally charged us $2,000 less than the Hyundai dealer. In addition, another one of our cars blew a lower engine and it needed to be replaced. Casey, the owner, told us that there was a court settlement that extended the warranty on the engine and that it was covered by the extended warranty. He was right and we got a brand new lower engine for free because of Casey. Carson from Discount tires recommended this company. I needed to have a tire removed off of my car due to a previous company, putting the Lugnuts on incorrectly where it was too tight to get off with a regular tool. Maxima at automotive is a reasonable company as far as the cost and they do what they say. Customer service is very friendly hours of operation is great. I recommend this company for any tire. Been going to this shop 15+ years and won't go to anyone else. They show me and explain everything I need done. They're honest and reasonable with their prices. I've NEVER had the same issue twice after going to Maximum. Highly recommend if you want the job done right.

Easily the best auto shop I ve ever been too. My 2013 Elantra s engine was making a concerning noise and my parents, long time customers of Maximum Automotive, recommended I take it there. Casey and his team did a test drive and determined that a full engine replacement was needed. They determined that my car was still under the manufacturer s warranty and recommended I bring it to a local dealership. They also recommended I hold off on other repairs I thought I needed until the dealership confirmed the engine was covered under warranty. Their thoroughness, helpful direction and honesty was completely refreshing and I d recommend Maximum Automotive to anyone who needs car service or repairs.Service: Engine repair

I've had my car worked on at Maximum Automotive for different things, including a battery installation, belts, and four wheel alignment. The prices are very reasonable compared to auto dealers, and Casey the general manager is very knowledgeable and friendly. I Highly recommend them!

I received excellent vehicle maintenance on my Lexus RX 350, performed by a team of highly skilled mechanics. Maximum Automotive is conveniently located off busy Ogden Ave & Aurora Ave in Naperville. Maximum has competitive pricing that certainly put the local dealership to shame! My husband encouraged me to try them after years of taking my vehicle straight to the dealer. It was a great choice! I was able to get a service appointment for - 140k mile vehicle maintenance services (spark plugs replaced, brake fluid flush) on short notice. The staff is professional & efficient. My vehicle was ready in no time and is running better than ever!

Great service, with some great professionals. Oil change was ready on time and had everything topped off perfectly. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to get anything done to their vehicle!! Got my car lowered here, and my girlfriends Jeep lifted previously. Everything has been great and it s been over a year with the lift and the coils. If you need your car serviced...GO HERE

I am very pleased with Maximum Automotive. The service we received today was excellent. We worked with Casey. He was polite, educated and helped me understand what needed to be done. Great service from these guys. I contacted them to install a lift kit on my 2010 2500HD. Very upfront that they ll only install if the truck is mechanically sound. Appreciated them putting their reputation and safety ahead of making a quick buck. Casey was great and kept me updated on progress and the couple of small issues they ran into. Final bill came in right where expected and most importantly the truck rides and looks fantastic. If you want work done right, give them a shot.

After getting work done all over the place, I have been getting upgrades and having my Jeep serviced at Maximum Automotive for several years now, and have never had a moment's doubt that everything has been done correctly. My nephew has recently moved to the area, and now he takes his vehicles there. The owner is both knowledgeable and personable, and they rest of the guys are fantastic . . . and you are told only what you actually need and it is explained to you in layperson's terms. Maximum is the only place I take my vehicle, period.

After being given the run around by many other local shops, I found Maximum Automotive online. Given their great reviews from multiple different sources I decided to give them a call. I spoke on the phone with Casey and he invited me to take a trip down to the shop to show me some of their work. Rather than try and upsell me on high commission items, he helped me find the most affordable option that suited my needs. I decided to purchase a lift kit for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler and have it installed by Maximum Automotive. The service from start to end was perfect. My installation was flawless and Ive come across no issues since leaving. Customer service from Maximum Automotive was impeccable. Other local business' could learn a thing or two from these guys!

Jeremy and Caden were extremely helpful today with my visit in for my alignment on my Ford F350 super duty dually. The truck hasn't driven this straight since the first tank of fuel ran through it. They have lots of suspension knowledge, and were able to give some excellent recommendations for assisting with load leveling when hauling 30,000 lbs behind the truck on my 5th wheel. Highly recommend for any general maintenance or specialty questions you may have. 10+ years of great work from these guys for me.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Best automotive repair shop I have ever been to.Casey helps me out big time and they are always 100% honest and upfront about EVERYTHING.I have been taking my car here for years and I will continue to only use them for repairs.Never had any issues with any of the repairs either, and they use OEM parts through my warranty which is equal to taking it to you re own brand dealer.10/10 would recommend to anyone especially if you are unsure on where to take your vehicle!!

Completely UntrustworthyTook my Lincoln into this place in early December for a check engine light. Said it could be either a sensor or a converter. Replaced the sensor that didnt work .so it must be the converter. Paid $300 for the sensor to be replaced and made plans to leave the vehicle over the holiday (starting December 22, 2021) to replace the converter. After several days of NO CONTACT, I called Maximum on Thursday Dec 30, 2021 to find out if the car had been fixed. Candidly, I figured they would need my credit card to pay for the install. They hadn t even started the job but promised they would have it done on Friday. Well, Friday came and I got a phone call saying that they weren t able to fix it. Again, had not even started the job. At most this is a 3 hour job. So, I will start the new year with the engine light still on. I guess we are back in the days where you simply cannot trust an auto mechanic! I brought my car into Maximum Automotive for some extensive work and I can t express enough how grateful I am for the fast, friendly and expert service I received from the Manager, Casey Jones. Casey took the time to explain every complex detail to me so that there were no surprises along the way and I could be sure that I was receiving superior customer service for a very reasonable price a huge bonus just before the holidays. I appreciated his honesty, transparency and pleasant demeanor, as well as his willingness to go above and beyond to answer my questions, anticipate future issues based on the age and maintenance history of my car and have it ready to get back on the road as soon as possible. I highly recommend Maximum Automotive to anyone searching for reliable and competent mechanics their combined knowledge, experience and passion for solving problems puts them well above any other place I ve turned to for help with my car. I thought I found a new trustworthy place within Maximum Auto even though the prices were higher than what I was used to paying, but after having to unexpectedly pay for two large repair bills one for a fuel pump and the other for a air mass flow sensor l won't be back. They charge for everything! A customer should not have to pay diagnosis fees again and again especially for the same unresolved issue. Casey was nice in the beginning as a new customer, but then started showing his true colors and always seemed to be in a rush unable to fully listen to my concerns for a actual professional two way conversation. I found a better repair place in Batavia that is worth the drive based on quality customer service and doesn't rip their customers off or rush them.

If I could give Maximum Automotive 10 starts, I would. The employees at this place are honest, trustworthy, professional, and extremely helpful! My favorite story to tell is several years ago when we were new customers to Maximum, we were presented with two repairs. My husband decided to attempt one of the repairs on his own. Jeremy (the owner) was honest enough to tell my husband that if he was going to "do the repair according to a YouTube video (which he was), than this is what you need to know because they don't tell you." And he proceeded to tell my husband what to look for and what special tools to use. Who does that? That was essentially money out of Jeremy's pocket. Because of this, Maximum Automotive gained a loyal customer. Let's face it, car repairs can be expensive. Maximum Automotive looks for ways to help us decide which repairs are absolutely necessary, and which ones can be done at a later date. Anytime we are asked for a repair shop reference, it's Maximum Automotive 100%!

Jeremy, and now Casey, have both provided honest quotes, great pricing, excellent communication and great work! If i dont have the means($$$$) to do the whole work repair, they walk me through the best plan to get me on the road and then we plan the future work. They are my first call for any mechanical work for my cars.

Second time that I've been to the shop, this time it was to have an SLP exhaust installed on my car along with subframe connectors welded in. The pricing was very fair and the work turned out great. Now when I launch the car it doesn't have wheel hop and the power doesn't get lost in the unibody and goes straight to the ground. Exhaust sounds great too. I do the majority of the work on my car myself, but for things that I can't do myself, I trust this shop (I'm pretty picky about going to a shop) to do good work at a reasonable price, and they have always delivered on that.

I am 18 years old and I went here because I have a lifted Jeep Wrangler and the whole body was shifting when I let go of the clutch and also when I gave it gas! I figured they would know best considering they specialize in lifted vehicles! They had my jeep over night so that way they could get the best look at it possible! I get a call the next morning to come in and they tell me I need a new lift kit and a lot more stuff making the bill of things I needed $3,800! I told them I can't afford to do that to it right now and they offered to buy my jeep off of me! I have a family friend who is a mechanic who said that's ridiculous and came to look at it! He was under my jeep for no more than 5 minutes and says you need rear control arms! He replaced that and everything was 1000% fine with it after that! Costed me $150 for parts and labor instead of $3800! I don't know if they were trying to buy my jeep because it's really clean for a 1999 or if they were trying to screw over an 18 year old but these guys are ass holes and can not be trusted! Taking my vehicle there was the worst decision ever and the only reason they are getting 1 star is because they gave me the diagnostic fee back!

I had just lifted my 2016 JKUR and wanted to check the alignment. Found this place after doing a search online. When I brought the Jeep in, after about 35 minutes or so , Jeremy came out to inform me that the alignment looked good and nothing needed to be done. So no Charge!I expected to be charged something but he said it wouldn't be right to charge me for doing nothing.What a great experience, I highly recommend these guys!
