For approximately 14 years, I have been coming to this location for all of my automotive bodywork needs. When the previous body shop made the transition into Gerber Collision and Glass, the core team and exceptional, excellent work and service continued.I have trusted my most beloved and valued cars with this body shop out of hundreds to freely choose from.Yesterday, I was running errands for my family and looking to surprise them with a new entry way Christmas tree to replace our longstanding old one that finally broke down.I visited numerous stores and ended up at American Sale. Upon entry into the parking lot, there was a long metal snow marker rod that was bent over into the lane of traffic instead of standing up vertically. No car could see it coming because in your lane of traffic you have to turn into and follow the curve into the parking lot . . . and then, there to greet me, was this rod that scratched nearly the entire passenger side of my car!After speaking with the management of American Sales and subsequently a representative from the company who handles these rods and the snowplowing, I put in a claim with my insurance.Hands down, I chose to make an appointment with Gerber Collision and Glass on LaSalle St. in Naperville; and happily they have always been one of the top endorsed body shop for my insurance company which is a great one!I brought my car to Gerber this morning for the appointment, and I was greeted by one of the kindest, most personable, humble, and professional employees I have ever met there. His name is Jake.Jake went and looked at the damage done to my car and assessed it, and then Jake optimistically offered to try to professionally buff out all the scratches! I was so overjoyed at the possibility and offer right on the spot! Where do you get Customer Service like that?Subsequently, after two rounds of buffing the scratches, and then, taking an extra step and polishing the entire side of my car in the areas affected, he restored my car to beautifully look like it did before it was unfortunately damaged by that top-rusted metal snow rod!Gerber did world-class work on my Stinger almost a couple years ago, and now due to our circumstance, completely out of my control that I was the unfortunate recipient of, Jake brought the most joyful happiness to me in doing what he did GRATIS, free of charge!!Yesterday was temporarily saddening situation, and it ended up being a big inconvenience for me and my family . . . and I had a very late night because of it . . . but today the Customer Service, encouragement, friendliness, and joy that Jake brought to me and my family cannot be summed up in words!The district manager was visiting American sale yesterday and what did she do? Pushed the responsibility and the snowplow company! Are you kidding me?Jake, a humble employee of Gerber Collision and Glads, took care of me on a CEO level and put to shame a corporate district manager of a major company!This is probably my highest level review of any person and company since the inception of my reviewing processes.Jake gets over five stars out of five stars and subsequently, Gerber Collision and Glass on LaSalle St In Naperville, IL will continue to have my business; but even so much more, I hope this review will bring in multitudes of customers because they have earned it!That is priceless!You never know when a kind act out of a gracious heart will bring riches of integrity and even monetary riches. Others like that district manager, who shunned responsibility and pushed it off on a snowplow company will lose my business for a lifetime, and I hope others take note.

I took my car for an estimate. Jake was able to fix it with new screws at no charge. We lol when I showed him the $1900 estimate from my dealership. Great shout out to Jake.

On hold forever and when someone finally came back to my call they hung up on me. Called again, placed on hold for almost 10 minutes, and was told an "estimator" would call me back, but that was many days ago. I wish I had so much money that I did not need business from anyone. I recommend finding another shop that is willing to help- I did and they were very helpful in responding to my calls and questions.

Amazing service! Ross was nice enough to squeeze me in his busy schedule to repair my car quickly under 30 minutes. All of the employees are very nice and helpful. Rick Evans (General Manager) was extremely professional and my car was delivered ahead of schedule which was a very pleasant surprise. Mr. Bell was so personable and really set me at ease about my car and the repairs that would be done to it when my car was first dropped off. Overall, everyone was very nice and made sure to keep me regularly updated on the repair progress of my vehicle. If my car is ever recked again (let s hope not) then I will most certainly be coming back to this Gerber Collision and Glass. We had a great experience dealing with the Crew at Gerber Collision on LaSalle in Naperville. First of all the repairs were excellent. The car looks like new and the crew "detailed" the car and it has never been cleaner or smelled fresher. But what most impressed me was the exceptional service. Everything was coordinated by Lynn. She dealt with the insurance company, scheduled the repairs and made sure they were completed on schedule, and arranged for a rental car while the car was being repaired. McKinley and Jimmy were also very pleasant to work with. This is a first rate group and I would highly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My experience was very poor. My part came later than the manager told me it would (though I don't believe he ever ordered it), then when it came it was "broken" so he had to reorder the part. There were several instances when they promised to "call with updates" through the ordering process but didn't. Only reason I provided the two stars is because they did accommodate me on picking my vehicle up after normal business hours because of my work, and the work looked great. Better customer service and kept promises would have yielded a better review from me!!

Brought our car in due to damage by a hit and run. Talked to the general manager Rick and was told we would be taken care of. Helped with the rental car and got us on our way. Very informative and kept us up to date. Car was repaired (brand new parts) and paint matches perfectly. Highly recommend sending anyone who needs work done there.

My family and I have been fortunate enough to find such a wonderfully talented group of people who are passionate about the business. The front desk people and everyone I have had the pleasure to work with has been exceptional.This time I stop in to ask about removing some white garage wall paint off the front left and right fenders (bad day in the garage). I got there 5 minutes before close just looking to ask about it on my way home. The front desk person was very nice and didn t rush me out to go home. Then the GM Alejandro Avalon s steps out of his office and said, I overheard you talking, let s take a look.Alejandro said, come back tomorrow and we will take care of you. So I did come back and he fixed it while I waited. Where do you get service like that? The front desk gal (sorry, I don t remember her name) couldn t have made me feel more comfortable. No joke, they treat you like family.I strongly recommend taking you vehicles to this location, dropping off your key and relaxing- knowing they will take care of you like family.Congratulations to the entire team, keep up the great work. Have used Gerber twice - once for repair of damage to my Toyota after an accident - was hit from behind - they did a super job. We now have damage to our F350 SD. We received an honest estimate of the cost, what needed to be done, and length of time needed to complete the job. Thank you McKinley. Thank you Rick for getting our truck in earlier than expected due to my husband's upcoming 8 hour back surgery. We both appreciate the concern expressed to us and know that the job will be done completely, timely and to our satisfaction. 5++++ stars to Rick and company at Gerber on Lasalle (right on Route 59) in Naperville. We had our car door smashed and decided to take it to Gerber. This was our second vehicle repaired and painted there. Rick Evans the manager could not have been more helpful. He worked with us as we were going out of town and then washed the car upon our picking it up. 100% excited that it looks as nice as it does. I have recently replaced a windshield at the Gerber Collision Shop by Glass America for my Nissan Altima. The team were nice and the Manager check it out that everything was on time. The process took about 2hr for the instalation and drying time. I have been driving my car for about a month and no problems so far. Just wanted to say thanks for a great job you guys did and I'm sure I will use you in my other windshield repairs.

This is definitely not a place to go to if you want timely and efficient services. The first quote given is BS, in my case, the second quote was doubled. I am updated this posting to reflect my satisfaction with the service provided. Overall, I would still recommend their service. Alex and Ivan were helpful and very accommodating to my needs. I have used their service in the past and will continue to do so. I know I can be a "P.I.T.A." customer, as I have very high expectations about my vehicle, and they do everything they can to meet and exceed my expectations. Also wish I could give zero stars. Came in for an estimate as part of State Farm preferred shops to see extent of the damage. My first visit I waited fifteen minutes before getting helped despite having an appointment. Worked with a nice guy who said there was damage but he couldn't write the estimate. They needed the paint less dent removal guy and I needed to come back the following week. Come back and again waited fifteen minutes to find out someone messed up and they weren't coming. But now they can write me an estimate. I submit a claim and scheduled repairs for a couple days later. When I decided I didn't want to go through them they told State Farm that they have to see the car again because they don't think it's related damage. Shady business practices by this place. Reporting them and State Farm to DOI for bad faith. Go elsewhere! You'll be glad you did.

I recommend this place to the max they make sure to keep you informed during the whole process of the repairs of my vehicle and they make sure that the parts need for your car are not on backorder they give my car back ahead of the stimated time from the front desk girls to the insurance representative on site to the owner of the shop he even call me personally to make sure i was satisfied with the work done the mechanic and the body car repairs personnel they did a awesome job .

The good, the bad and the ugly... Pretty inconsistent on workmanship. A couple of my friend (both with same model year Odyssey mini vans) one was happy while the other was just mad plus a flats tire (one of those license plate screw stuck on the outer rib) and my neighbor sure was't very happy either with paint/tape lines even their kids can see..

I have had my Passat serviced here twice. Once in early 2015 then again fall 2015, both body repairs resulting from hit and runs.The first repair (front end) seemed okay, only later did I discover the headlights were completely unaligned. Not a hard fix, but was dangerous to drive at night.Second fix (rear end), they installed my license plate holder upside down. Resulting in a portion of it hiding my registration sticker... got me pulled over.Back to the first repair, I have just recently discovered a large crack on the intercooler connection. That connection happens to be in the extact point of impact from the first hit. That's a very costly repair. Not necessarily easy to detect by a driver driving normally, but very easy for a shop to detect by measuring boost pressure.Final words- Avoid this shop, they are overbooked and sloppy. Missing many details likely due to high turnaround and not caring.
