Absolutely love this place! Louis and Mary are the kindest people I ve ever met in the auto repair field. Their staff is professional, reasonable, and honest! Above all their customer service and fair pricing won me over. As long as I have a vehicle to drive I will take it to Motus. Highly recommend!They have serviced my Honda Del Sol with Transmission replacement, Clutch kit replacement, Clutch master cylinder, Full suspension replacement front and back, Installed my exhaust, Alternator, and Motor Mounts. Everything was done flawlessly.

Louis and the team at Motus Auto were outstanding. I selected them for a complex engine rebuild on a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI based on recommendation from a local seasoned engine machinist. The customer service was outstanding and they managed the project with respect. They were upfront about not being able to get to the project for 3-4 weeks due to other customers, which I appreciated. After the project was complete there was a lingering issue which Motus Auto continued to troubleshoot until it was resolved.

Wish I could give this place a 0/5. Issue of the matter was explained throughly. However, the thing about mechanics, it s always a hustle for them to get as much money out of you as they can. it s ridiculous paying a little over 400 dollars for a repair that took an hour nothing over an hour, for a much older car that still broke down after driving off the lot.Owners may do their best at their job especially for their reputation and service but, fail to take accountability for their own faults when it comes to customers like me.

Luis, the owner of Motus, was the most mild-mannered individual I ve encountered in any retail environment, automotive or otherwise. He seemed genuinely interested in servicing my vehicle and the quote he gave me - and actually billed me after repairs were complete - was about $200 less than a shop I price-compared down the street.He explained everything he needed to do, and I learned more about my vehicle thanks to him.He keyed me into items that I may need to do in the future to maintain my vehicle, but he was very honest about the danger (or lack thereof) for each item.The fact that Motus is located a mile or so down the street is a plus. I would travel far to have my car serviced by Luis and his team if the situation presents itself in the future.

I had my aftermarket exhaust installed here, and I'm more than satisfied with how it turned out. Louis was very helpful and friendly, along with the rest of the staff. I highly recommend this place for high-quality and professional service at a reasonable price!

Louis, Mary, and their team of mechanics are really wonderful - you will not find a kinder or more welcoming service anywhere, especially in the auto industry. They are always thorough and honest about what to keep an eye on, what needs to be replaced or repaired now/later etc. and perform quality work at very fair prices. We will no longer be local after our move but we will continue to bring our cars down here to be serviced at Motus, they are just the best!

I highly recommend Motus. Louis and his team have worked on 4 of our cars in the last month. My 2014 Equinox, my daughter's 2014 Equinox, my husband's 2019 VW Atlas and other daughter's 2015 Chevy. All have had different issue. Motus has been able to complete the work reasonably priced as well as quickly. These folks here are the real deal. We drive all the way from lake Zurich to service our cars here knowing we won t be walking away with any additional and unnecessary costs. Louise explains everything in immaculate detail and really cares for his customers with honesty. We will continue to support Motus and highly recommend!

I was utterly impressed!First of all, the price was lower than anyplace around, and there was no hidden gimmicks/fees like environmental or recycling fees, etc.I waited only 15-20 minutes for my oil change to be done.Clean, incl. the restroom (some auto shops restrooms are dirty and rundown).Mary who answers the phone and meets people in the lobby is very friendly and welcoming.And the most impressive was that the owner, Luis, greeted me very warmly, and he sat with me and with every client and took his time to explain the work done, his recommended services, and did not try to sell me anything, just showed and explained.Very pleasant people, and I felt that I could trust them.Service: Oil change

I can't recommend Motus enough. Everyone is so friendly and the level of communication I received both during and after my car's repair was unparalleled to anything I'd ever experienced with other auto repair shops. They were very detailed in their inspection and detailing everything they found on my car, and the cost of repairs was very fair for what I needed to have fixed. I will definitely be taking my car back here in the future!

Car repairs were quoted at nearly $7,000 at dealership and Motus did the work for a fraction of the price. The car runs great. They communicated with us throughout. Recommended by family. Will definitely go back in the future.

Best service we've ever had. They were personable, honest, fair priced and really friendly people. We called two other mechanics for quotes and Motus was the cheapest. My husband needed struts and shocks replaced on his car and they kept us updated on the service regularly and were able to complete it in a timely manner. They even remembered my husband was on a work trip in San Diego while they were working on the car! They are a leader in customer service! They will definitely be our auto mechanic going forward.

Motus is hands down the BEST auto body shop I have ever been to. I had an Audi that needed a timing belt replacement. I spoke to Louis over the phone and I was impressed on his knowledge and being proactive with me regarding what needed to be replaced and what the estimate price would be for the service. Moreover, they provide loaner cars while you wait for your car to be fixed (so this is a plus!). Prices were definitely hard to beat and their customer service is phenomenal. They are the absolute best! I am absolutely overjoyed that I found Motus! They replaced my wheel bearing on my SUV with no hassle at all - even called to confirm the correct one was being replaced. This was done at a very cost-effective price and excellent service all the way around. I will definitely be bringing my vehicle to Motus from here on out! :)

I barely do reviews online. But I would like to do it this time because I received extraordinary service from this auto repair shop. My friend recommended this place. After the first call with Luis, I knew I found a great car service place. He was very professional and polite. He explained every details about the issues they found. Lewis and Mary not only did a great job fixed the problem, Lewis also explained all the situation clearly and patient so we felt very comfortable about the job. When my son had a problem with his car in another city, I asked Lewis for a second opinion. he gave me an unreserved and professional advice which helped me very much. Great place to service your vehicle. I had to get my emissions done and had my engine light on. Told them the code name and Lewis, the owner, told me in detail what was wrong with it. Louis told me that he would inspect the car for the code problem I was having over the phone and took his time with me to understand exactly what was going on. He told me to bring it in whenever. I brought the car in and he worked on the vehicle right away and told me what was wrong with it. I told him that I'm not in a hurry and told him to take his time. The following morning, I get a text from the shop telling me the problem the car was having and what the problem was. They even drove the car to get the emissions passed! I was not expecting that. What a service they provide. Lewis also inspected the vehicle with any other problems the car was having.I highly recommend this place. Very honest people to work with. I will tell my family and friends of this place. Great price and great people.Thank you Louis for the help. 100% will recommend this place to all friends and family. Highly knowledgeable and skilled people.I took my car here after it "failed" emissions test. This shop is the recommended list of repair shops for cars that fail emissions test. They accommodated me as a walk-in appointment. Spent about 45mins running various diagnostics and found out that there is nothing wrong with the car. Turns out this repair shop was right. My car passed emissions testing at a different location. Didn't charge me anything for the time, they spent on my car. Great service and all around felt like a trustworthy place.

Louis and his crew were EXCEPTIONAL! I was referred to Motus because my vehicle failed the emissions test. Louis was so knowledgeable and accommodating, which made the whole experience a delight! Not only did the fix the issues that caused the failed test, they drove my car to the emissions testing site to retest for me! Reasonably priced refreshingly great customer service!Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

I recently had my vehicle serviced by Motus, and was exceptionally impressed with the level of service from the front office to the garage. The repairs were done proficiently, and reasonably priced. The office staff, including Angel and Louis, were clearly service-oriented and their communication was top notch. They did NOT try to up-sell me on ANYTHING, and stuck to the repair that was needed. As an added bonus, my car came out of the shop cleaner than when it was brought it. (Thanks!) This shop is fantastic if you're looking for quality work, done correctly (the first time), I strongly recommend Motus.

I hope this comment can do some justice to how AMAZING this Auto shop is! Just giving them 5 stars isn't even enough. The first time I ever did a repair through them, they went above and beyond I could've ever asked for in service.I had a timing belt warning and my car broke down right as I was about to make it to their shop. Hours before, I called around for quotes and Motus provided an unbeatable quote! I was so stressed because I had to figure out how to get there and get a loaner Motus would offer as they would fix my car. Unfortunately, I was stuck with the broken down car and had only a few minutes before Motus would close the shop. They were extremely kind enough to pick me up, bring me to the shop, fill out the paper work, and made sure I would have the loaner car. NO OTHER car shop just does that! They went out of their way to help me in a very stressful moment! They have a customer for life because this is how you do business.Motus has amazing rating for a reason; they are kind, helpful, and do honest work! Please go here for all your car service needs! I originally found them for high rating on google maps. Look at the reviews, you'll see why people love this business

I, along with all of my family members, have been going to see Louis and his crew for nearly a decade if not longer. He, along with his wife, are two of the most genuine people I have met. I'm not one to throw around praise on review boards but those two deserve it. They not only provide quality work but you can be rest assured that you will never be upsold. As I've gotten older, my 5 minute drive to the shop has now become a 30 minute hike. My area is saturated with other auto body shops yet it has never once crossed my mind to go elsewhere, even if for the convenience factor. I've never had an uncle that worked on cars but if I did, this would be it. I trust them as if they were family.
