Fastest and most professional service you will ever see! I brought my car in to have the engine codes checked out and Joey did an excellent job explaining everything to me thoroughly and got my car fixed and back on the road in no time. Not only was the service excellent, but the prices are very competitive too. The days of bringing my car to Jiffy Lube for service and praying they don't screw up my car are over! This Meineke will have mine and my family's service for life!

I would not even give this place one star but I was left with no choice. This place provided horrible service. We went in for a basic oil change as part of the Veterans Day special and had an appointment. Upon walking in, the manager said he would be right with us! That was over an hour ago! All the service workers were dressed in pajama pants and white t-shirts! Is this the Meineke work uniform? While waiting another customer walked in who had an appointment an hour before ours and their car also had not yet been worked on! They were there for an oil change as well. If this is the way they treat Veteran s, I hate to see how they treat civilians. I will never use this shop for any auto service! Horrible work ethic and no basic customer service skills!! I do not recommend this place at all.

Brought my car in and was unsure as to what was even wrong. The manager and team were very inviting and knowledgeable. I was given very good prices and very good information as to how to best prevent issue in the future. If i could give more than 5 stars, i would. It is so nice to finally find an honest place to take my car to for repairs. After weeks of getting the run around from other shops, I brought my car to this Meineke and it couldn t have been a better experience.Joey Harty was beyond professional and took the time to explain what was exactly needed to repair my car. They actually had my car fixed in less time than originally quoted and for much less cost than I d been quoted from other shops prior to this.I will continue to bring all of my cars to this shop when repairs are needed.Services: Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection

I like coming here ! Free tire rotation with oil change and they top the fluids I come in about 9 am wonderful service . When I do my oil change the manager checks the tire pressure of each tire before we leave ! I give the coupons to my son and his family we have grandkids that will be coming here for service pretty soon . Really reliable and honest hard work . Did work on my truck Friday. Charged for alignment and didn t do alignment so came back on the Monday. I head appointment meeting at 10. Now I am late it s 9:30 and I been here for 2 hours now. So unorganized nice guys but don t take your car here take it to Mavis instead. I mean nice people but ugh what s the point

I came for a car emergency, I am not from Illinois. They were the closest shop I could bring my car to, They were very knowledgeable and helpful to getting my car fixed. Definitely recommend!

Excellent service repair was done really well and fast for reasonable price customer service advisor I believe he was named joeybwhen above and beyond and provided excellent service and told me all details and prices prior to work being done I will always take my car here well trusted and great prices

This is a little hidden GEM!! Consistantly great with their repairs, you don t ever have to go back twice to get the same issue fixed!! My go to shop, period!!

The shop overcharged me double of the price if I took my car to dealer. They charged me for brake light switch $191.64 when the same part in dealer was only $23.86. When I confronted the manager about overcharging he declined to give me a refund and ignored me. I will never go back there. What great service! While I was shopping my tire light came on, I pulled over to meineke and they took care of me right away. There was a screw in one tire, it was patched in no time and I was on my way. I can highly recommend the work and pleasant, caring attitudes. Thanks Meineke!!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Was referred by a family member and am glad I listened the fellow home helped me I believe his name was Joey Hardee he was able to properly diagnose the issue I was having with my vehicle in less then 2 day when I actually had my car at 2 other previous "mechanics" that could not tell me what was wrong with it and it turned out to be a cheap fix smart guy he is thank you for the great service will definitely be referring you to others as well

When Tech explain to me, what was wrong with my car his explanation was very poor and wrong. When I questioned him about the things they were doing. He fumbled on his words very unknowledgeable, and I will never deal with that location again.

I've moved through Hoffman Estates, Vernon Hills, Bensenville, Grayslake, and now to Lake Villa, but I've been taking all my vehicles to this place no matter where I lived. That was when Dave owned this shop, prices were reasonable, work was great, and I even got a loaner car for relatively smaller repairs that I didn't expect I would get one for.Things have certainly changed since he left, it became difficult to reach them, let alone speaking to the store manager, and I've had to make multiple attempts to follow up on a part they offered warranty on.At one instance, I was even being judged for not driving my vehicle right, while the issue was in the part that was replaced by them. Funny enough, I consider my vehicles lucky to have a home where they get routine care, and are handled gently by not only me, but all my family members.Needless to say, I'd probably have to take my business elsewhere from now on, rather than to drive miles to the place that used to be my go-to auto repair shop since 2017.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto brake repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

Dropped car at 1pm. Was told they would look at and it give me a call in 1-2 hours. Car was moved in to bay and up on lift when we left. Store closed at 5 pm with no call made for quote of work. Next morning they opened at 7 and still no call. Called store and no answer so left a voicemail at 8:15 am. Got in my other car at 8:30 am and started driving to shop 25 minutes away. While in route they did call but only to say they were returning the voicemail call. Still had not looked at cat at 8:55 am and still no quote for work. When we got to shop they were looking at car but decided they did not care so took the vehicle to another shop. Will never go back to Meineke in Mundelein as it is a poorly managed repair shop.Service: Auto exhaust system repair

Just one star because last Saturday I took my jeep to change the oil and I told them that I heard a noise in front when braking and taking off and they told me it was the front brakes and a bearing and I told them to change them and the car continued with the same noise and on Monday I went to take it again and now they tell me it's the shock absorbers. The jeep was leaking oil through the filter and brake fluid. I just took my cars there and they robbed me in my face even though I was a customer. Wanted to get a oil change and it took over a hour and a half they weren t that busy and really over 100$ for oil change that s crazy I get it inflation all that just imagine how much everything else must cost to get fixed

I walked in expecting to get some work done and I walked out contemplating if I would ever come back. I had called a week prior to set an appointment for rear brake service, tire installation, and an oil change. When I arrived they said that they did not have me scheduled. In a previous visit I was quoted 460 for the brake job, once I get there they were trying to charge me 800 plus. Sorry, not happening. When I had called to make the appointment, I asked if they could swap out some tires that I had with the ones on the truck and they said yes. I come in and because they were used, they refused. Would have been nice to know all this prior to arriving. The only thing completed was an oil change. Very disappointed!Service: Oil change

Went in for brakes and Rotors on a 2015 Dodge. Instead of consulting with me as I was in the waiting g room, I received a text to approve or decline $1200 in repairs. Not only very impersonal but way more than. It should be for what I needed. We talked and 20 minutes later I got another text bringing the cost down to $950 with a long wait as the parts would need to be delivered. I said no, called another place and within. 2 hours of leaving I had new brakes and Rotors on the car for just under $800. Now I will say they were nice, the whole process was too impersonal and the estimates too much.Service: Auto brake repair

Twice they've done a poor job fixing my car for very standard, not very complex, jobs and left me with an unsafe vehicle to drive. Giving them two stars though, because they are always friendly to work with, and both times they were willing to fix the problem free of charge asap.

I've always had honest upfront service here. They have repaired my my muffler 2x now. The first time the technician drew me a diagram and showed me several different options on repair or replace, when other shops told me to replace everything. I chose the repair option which he estimated would last 4-6 months. The repair lasted over a year. They just replaced it now in a timely and affordable option. They've done oil changes and brakes here for me in the past. Great service

SCAM! This is the worst place for car maintenance. They charge you for parts and then did not replace them. Next, sloppy, poor, rear brakes were installed and brakes almost failed by a malicious brake job. I had to go back and drive an hour for them to fix the brakes and then they never told me what was wrong and my brakes were scrapping and almost locked. This is all a result of poor service sloppy work. Then they didn't replace my air filter and when I asked for a refund they said no. I had to go back two times to get work redone and parts installed. This is the worst place because of a haphazard and shady business practices. DO NOT GO HERE!Service: Auto brake repair
