I found Albo restoration while trying to find a shop that would rewrap a steering wheel for me. Every other 'complete interior' shop I'd asked prior had promptly told me "We don't do steering wheels." I guess they didn't want to mess with the airbag.I spoke with Irene at Albo Restoration and showed her what needed to be done with my Toyota. She quickly told me the entire process in detail, and gave me an accurate estimate to the final cost. The work was a bit pricey, but Albo uses real bovine leather rather than the synthetic vinyl stuff the cars come out of the factory with these days. After also seeing pictures from reviews of the other work they've done, I felt the price was right for the craftsmanship of the work, and quality of the materials.A couple business days after I dropped the car off, I got a call and email back from Irene that the car was done, my jaw dropped when I saw the pictures. The new leather matched the rest of the car perfectly. They seamed the leather exactly like the factory wheel was, and the stitchwork was beautiful.From dull, black, and starting to flake, to smooth, two-tone luxury. I couldn't be more happy with the work. Well worth the cost, and the 2 hour drive from Beverly to Mundelein!I highly recommend Albo Restoration to anyone who's looking to fix their worn auto upholsterey, while also topping-off on the luxury of their vehicle's interior.

I had a 1998 automotive driver's seat bolster restored to the original interior components of the vehicle. I did not expect an exact color match but sought an improvement over the existing leather. Irene explained the restoration service process in detail and answered any questions I had. She was on point with her description of the work, knowledge of the process and anticipated result. The work was even better than I could have expected. This is real craftmanship rooted in the traditions of European artistry. I had a 3 1/2 inch crack in the dash of my corvette. Went in thinking I would just get an estimate and would have to make an appointment for a later date. 30 minutes later my dash was repaired at a very reasonable price. Most strongly recommend!

Irene and staff were skilled and professional. We discussed fabric (stripe) placement in detail. They beautifully and expertly reupholstered my grandmother's antique arm chair. I brought my 2006 Honda Pilot for headliner, driver seat, steering wheel, and center armrest restoration. I have to say I was skeptical the leather and the headliner was going to be matched exactly to oem but Irina and her crew got it done perfectly. I cannot recommend a better leather or overall vehicular interior restoration. I will be sure to bring any of my vehicles here for any interior restoration needs.

Had the front seat of the BMW convertible reupholstered with leather. Each of the arm rests also received new leather - the doors and the middle. The work is exceptional!!! Irene is a charm to work with and her partner has a perfect eye for color matching. He cleaned and updated the color on the passenger leather seat. The imperfections are completely gone. Fabulous. Albo is the place to have replacement or custom work done. THANK YOU!!

Albo Restoration has helped me with two projects now and both times their work was exceptional. Top notch craftsmanship and on time and on budget each time. First was the driver's seat in my 2007 Audi. Their work was fantastic on that. I went back to have them upholster a motorcycle seat for me. Their work on that was incredible. I could not believe how beautiful it turned out. Their work exceeded my expectations and I was thrilled with the result. I would go back again and again. Thank you, Albo!!!

Albo Restoration replaced a damaged portion of a seat cushion in our car. The repair matched perfectly and the job was completed the same day we brought our vehicle over. Irene was efficient and professional. Overall, we were very pleased with Albo Restoration Services.

Albo restoration did an incredible job on my Toyota FJ cruiser truck headliner. My original headliner had a crushed corner and a hole in it. Their talented team pulled the liner, rebuilt the corner, fixed the hole, and put it all back together and made it look like new. Such a great job!!! Irene is a joy to work with and I enjoyed our conversations. I absolutely can't recommend them enough !

I am restoring a 56 Buick and needed some trim remade. I brought in the old pieces and 2 weeks later, I had perfect new parts. The work they preformed is excellent. I will be bringing more interior parts to be repaired.

Rip-off business. My son was supposed to get an estimate on the repairs to his convertible top, which he supplied 90% of the parts. He left the car on Thursday night, never heard a word until Monday afternoon that it took them 2.5 hours to take the top off. OK, seems reasonable, but why didn't he get this notification on Friday morning if they had done the work in the morning? He didn't hear another word until Tuesday where they had to order another part, which was due Wednesday p.m. Hmmm, he got a notice early Thursday afternoon that the car was finished. Unfortunately the bill was astronomical, and the car was now held hostage. They claim it took an additional 27.5 hours, a total of 30 hours at rack rate to fix the top. There is no way they worked solidly on this car for 5 full days, yet that is what they claimed. No negotiation except giving the $75 part. This firm is deceptive, has poor communication skills and behaves in a borderline criminal manner. They took advantage of him with no remorse. They looked like craftsmen which is why they were chosen, apparently they are just incompetent in their work. There is no way this repair should have cost this much, a used convertible top complete costs 1/3 what they charged. With the available time between Monday and Thursday afternoon, and time while waiting for the part was around 16 hours. RIPOFF, don't patronize.

Took my mother's 2000 Volkswagen Beetle here to fix the ceiling upholstery that was coming down. Very impressed with everyone one there and the workmanship. Quality work at a very fair price. Highly recommend this business. A great big thank you to them.

I took in my 2007 TL to get a bit of custom work and repairs on my seats and I'm blown away by the quality of work that Irene and her team have done. They have fair prices and are the best upholstery shop in the Lake/Cook county area in my opinion. Irene gave me a time as to how long everything would take and they definitely stick to their deadline which is awesome. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely be taking my future projects to Irene.

The side bolster on the driver s seat of my 5 year old Subaru developed a wear crack. Albo rebuilt the bolster with new material and foam so well that it s absolutely indistinguishable from the original. The new foam makes the seat a little more comfortable which is a nice, unexpected plus. Excellent work at a fair price. I wouldn t hesitate a moment to use them again or recommend them to my best friend.

Wonderful experience having the leather seats in my civic replaced! They were able to fit me in the day after I called to make an appointment, and the work was done in less than 24 hours! The seats are two tone (red and black) and look absolutely amazing. They left the inside of the car vacuumed and pristine! Everyone was so friendly and easy to deal with! I will be taking all of my auto upholstery needs to Albo

I bought a used Chrysler Town & Country, the leather on the driver's seat was torn, the dealer said he would get it fixed. After three months dealer did nothing, his "guy" never returned their calls, I told the dealer I would get it fixed and he agreed to pay for it. I got two estimates and one was from Albo Restoration, they were $50.00 higher than the other estimate, but I decided on Albo because I was impressed by how professional and friendly they were. They did a great job, I am very happy. I am giving the dealer Albo's name & phone number because they answer the phone, not like the dealer's "guy".

In 2018 I brought my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire in to have the headliner replaced. The materials that Albo Restoration used was perfect! Irene talked me through the process and price. The vehicle was promised on the day she said. They did a beautiful job. I would recommend them to everyone.

I entrusted Irene and her team with all the custom leather for my air cooled Porsche 911 restoration. This included custom seats, dash, shifter, door and side trims, and a bespoke roll cage. The workmanship is top quality. They've also re-upholstered some of my home furnishings, with the same top quality workmanship.Pros:- High quality- Attention to detail- Great design eye- Fair costs- Willing to partner with you with a team approach- Leather supplier knowledge and supplier managementCons:- There are few who can do the work they do - so they are very busy. I had my boat seats reupholstered with a challenging repair of the double-wide captain's chair that had much hardware involved. The vinyl colors, cushions and stitching are beautiful and while I thought the cost was a bit pricey, the quality of the finished product is excellent. The seats reinstalled perfectly and I would recommend Albo to anyone; I'll be returning for more work in the future.

Irene and her team performed a wonderful restoration of the interior of my 2009 Subaru Impreza, including new leather seats throughout, with contrasting stitching, and complete interior detailing. It is a stunning result. On top of everything, she was extremely to easy to work with and her prices are very reasonable. I recommend Albo Restoration without any reservations.

We had a large tear on the driver's seat section in our truck that needed to be repaired, as well as replacing the padding for the seat too. Albo Restoration Services was able to match the fabric in our truck so closely that you can't even tell its been repaired. With the padding in the seat replaced, and new fabric, the seat in our truck looks brand new again!Albo Restoration Services was a pleasure to work with, the price was very reasonable, and the quick turn around time was perfect for our busy schedule. We'd highly recommend them to anyone else in need of upholstery repairs/services.

We had the interior furniture of our motor home reupholstered. I can t say enough good things about our experience. Irene and her staff made our furniture look brand new. She is very knowledgeable about fabrics and has a great eye for color. I would not hesitate to use Albo Restoration again. I highly recommend them.

I just picked my boat up from Albo Restoration Services, and all I can say is "wow". I cannot remember the last time that I purchased something, or paid for a service where my expectations were exceeded. Irene's expertise and knowledge were a great help when it came to picking the small details of the project. This project turned out far better than I had expected, and I am grateful to Irene and the entire staff at Albo Restoration Services for not only spectacular work, but delivering on time, and on budget. This was not a small project by any means, and was not just a re-upholster, but rather a complete color change and redesign. The results are incredible. If you need anything upholstered, I highly recommend Albo Restoration Services.

I brought my Grand Cherokee Summit to Albo after Napleton Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram replaced the leather seat cover back and foam, doing an absolutely horrendous job with the install. My seat looked terrible! I absolutely hated to even look my car. I brought it to Albo and they got it in next business day, and installed the seat cover properly. It looks and feels like it should again! I am thoroughly pleased with the results. They were fast, reasonably priced, and did a great job. What more can you ask for?
