I originally went for a new tire because of a flat. John ordered a good one and had it in shop ready to put in my car before 1pm. After that I had asked John if he could look at my husbands car that just went out of warranty when the check engine came on. He graciously said yes and he had it fixed within a day or so. Getting your car repaired can be stressful especially when some places aren t honest or have high prices, but not here. All the workers are extremely nice, they talk to you like you are human when explaining what needs to be fixed, prices are reasonable and they are honest. My experience at New generation was wonderful would recommend all families and friend to go there with any car needs! Thank you again for your help!

I was driving by on I-80 and stopped in to get a headlight fixed. John was so friendly and got the job done quickly for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop!

If I could give more than five stars, I would.As a car enthusiast who knows a little more than the average person about cars and has always liked to do as much work on my own cars as possible, I was leery of going to a mechanic I'd never used before but my sister recommended them. As it turned out, she was right. John, Thad, and Ryan all proved to be top notch and I can spot a bad or dishonest mechanic from a mile away in the dark on a foggy night. They were extremely knowledgeable, honest and *very* thorough. The only thing I thought was a little odd was how much they charged me, but in a good way! They could have easily charged me another $100 and I wouldn't have blinked but hey, I'm not one to complain!-If you have a newer car, take it here. If every independent mechanic shop/garage was this good, dealerships would be laying off mechanics and service writers who would then probably try to get a job at New Generation.-If you have a older car, take it here. Basically bring them anything that's not under a factory warranty.There are two types of mechanics, the ones that just start replacing parts until whatever the issue is winds up getting fixed and cost you a ton of money for no reason, OR... there are guys like these who will ONLY fix what needs to be fixed and then tell you about what you might need to have done down the line.I know that if I had zero knowledge of cars at all before going in there this morning, these guys wouldn't have treated me any differently or charged any more than they did. Shops like this are few and far between and this town (or any town!) is lucky to have them. I'll definitely be back and tell anyone who asks about tires or any type of repairs to go to New Generation and nowhere else.Thanks again! 10/10Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake replacement

My forever go-to car shop . Never had any problems or doubts. Great bunch of guys here. Any problems I've had with my Vehicle it would be solved straight away! I like how John explains everything to me letting me know everything they're going to do or can do with car. Honest hard working people at this shop! and for today's economy the pricing for parts/labor is quite fair!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto A/C replacement, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto brake replacement, Battery

I will never take my vehicle here again. I was preparing to take a road trip & took my car in for a tune up. It was pricey, but I was happy to pay it, knowing that my car would be good to go, for my trip. After driving my car for a day I called New Generation to report that the car had an issue that it''d NEVER had before. I brought it back in & they had my vehicle for 2 full days.John wasn't sure if he had fixed it, but had me pick it up, as he had a personal matter to attend to. I left for my trip, praying that it would be ok. My trip went fine, but the issue was still there.Every time I accelerate, my car hesitates and then jumps forward. I have never had a problem with this before. It's an issue driving locally, but especially when merging on the highway.I called to report to John that the problem didn't go away. Previous to this phone call, my husband was told by an employee that the new hoses that were put in were actually taken out, and the old hoses were put in their place, in hopes of resolving the problem. John said he didn't know what I was talking about. He was quite rude and said that I'd need to bring my car back in so they could look at it. That's not happening as I don't trust them, at all!!I really hesitated to leave this review. But, it upsets me that I may have paid for new hoses that were then removed. I should have been refunded for them. And, I am stuck with the issue my car has now. I'll be taking it somewhere else to get fixed...something I shouldn't have to do.

I've been taking my vehicles to John at new generation for almost 2 years now. In my opinion the most important factor with a mechanic is trust. John is an honest and trustworthy business owner. He's timely, always pleasant and does good work. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle to see him. You won't be disappointed.

As usual, John went above and beyond to fix my car. He was able to diagnose almost immediately and was able to help as soon as the part came in. 5 stars isn t enough for him. He s easy to talk to and explains what he s doing in a way that you can understand. You never want to see a mechanic because of a surprise fix, but I m SUPER grateful John was there to get the job done!

New Generation Tire & Auto is trustworthy business! They are professional, genuine, and HONEST! Thad went above and beyond to fix my car yesterday including staying past his hours and driving to another town to get the parts I needed for my car. He contacted and updated me throughout the day. This is one business I trust. They are loyal to their costumers and do not rip them off. I highly suggest using them!!

John is fantastic. He figured out, and very quickly took care of my issue. Even though I'm a huge DIY guy he went above and beyond to earn my return business. I definitely recommend stopping by if you need to have repairs done. He is very fair.

This morning I had rear pads and rotors replaced on my 2015 Toyota Camry and I'm extremely happy with the work that John and his coworker provided. John not only fixed my brakes in a very timely manner but his price was outstanding. I'm a first time customer and will definitely be taking my car back soon. Professional service, affordable prices, very kind and informative shop. Thanks again guys!

I have used this shop many times. They are excellent! I trust them to keep my 99 Honda in good shape so I can travel. They are honest and respectful.

This is a great shop, John takes care of you and makes sure the job is done right. He was able to get me in that day to get the front brakes replaced on my 2014 RAM 1500. Did the job quick and at a very fair price. Thanks for the work!

Everyone needs a good mechanic, John and crew are definitely mine. They are honest, skilled, and knowledge. I have been taking 2 vehicles to them now for a few years and it is refreshing that I don't need to worry about them doing unnecessary work or upselling. They do great with European cars too. Definitely recommend!

John was incredibly helpful with inspecting a car I was going to purchase, going above and beyond to ensure that there were no major issues. He found a few smaller things that helped us negotiate a few hundred dollars off the price! This place is awesome I called to see if they could work on my Ranger I was given a quote over the phone I spoke to John and he told me what the quote would cover I asked if I could get the parts and have him put it on he said yes they're very accommodating. I also asked what else they do they do tires oil changes batteries they can help you if you can't get a lug nut off and they can also put the spike on so that you can put a lug nut back on so that you have all your lug nuts for your tires there's also other things that the Shop can do brakes etc. You just need to call and ask I've been very pleased with everything that they've done for me on my vehicle and I'm very picky about where I take my vehicles and who I let work on them.

While traveling on I-80 on Saturday late morning I had a caliper start sticking.Not a good situation to be in.I was about 2 miles from the Morris exit and 50 miles from home.I decided to handle this myself and not wake my husband who was working the night shift this week and sleeping.I called 1 shop and they were getting ready to close.The gentleman recommended New Generation.What a wonderful experience it turned out to be.John, the owner was the only mechanic in the shop that morning.He understood my predicament about being so far from home with a smoking break and started checking the pads and the calipers.John had us back on the road in about 60minHe ended up greasing the pins in the calipers someone had neglected to do that at the last break change. All four tires needed it.He could have turned me away.He could have over charged me and didn't!I even tried to tip him and he refused!What a wonderful experience!Tell your folks thanksKeep up the great work John

Thank you John. this morning on our road-trip out west, we had a feeling that my back brakes on my Subaru forester were shot. sure enough they were, we stopped in, and under two hours later we are rolling once again with a new set of brakes.

Walked In and talk to John about putting coilovers on my car. Not a thing he normally does but he did it anyway. Idk alot about cars outside changing a tire or oil. John will tell you exactly what he thinks is wrong and won't cut corners. He worked till 5pm on a Saturday to fix my car. Stayed late to finish my car cause I needed it back for work sunday.. whats that tell you?

I had all 4 tires replaced, this guy has the best prices around, he is super fast, very kind and he doesn't rush you, with other places I feel like it's a chore for them to talk to you over the phone. This place has earned a costumer for life..
