I was in need of a transmission for my 2011 chrysler t&c. This facility not only towed my vehicle from plainfield but was able to replace it the same day. They were upfront about costs and turnaround time was much faster than they quoted. Cost was about $4700 give or take a few $$$ in total. Transmission rebuild. New line and radiator flush. Plus some other items. Not bad since one guy said they were 4 to 6 weeks out and another said at least 2 months at $9500. If in need af another I will be calling them again.Thank you for the fast friendly service.

Don't buy vehicles from these people. They will get you good. I promise. All thier good reviews are from there own. Bought a car from them, two days later it messed up. They claimed to fix it. Got home same thing happened again. I took the car back. They had it over 3 months. I called them and asked about my car. Well they took it to another dealership to get fixed. I said what, and asked what one. Well I called that dealership to see what is going on. Well it was fixed and they didn't like the price and won't pay to get the car. I said whatttt. Not making this up. So I said can I come get my car and you can work it out with Morris Transmission on this. Nope we put a mechanic Lean on it. So I have to pay almost 2k for a car I just paid 4k for or I would lose the car. The other dealership felt so horrible and gave me money off the best they could. They would not even talk to me after I found out about them not paying the bill. Believe me don't do business with these people. If you do good luck.

Do not use these people! No idea how they re still in business after the way they treat their customers. Got a new transmission installed by them and first gear randomly doesn t engage. They told me they don t have a crystal ball to fix my problem and if I can t go outside to show their guy what makes it slip there s nothing they ll do. IM NOT THE TRANSMISSION EXPERT!? I told them after it warms up it constantly won t engage! They just wouldn t listen and kept reffing back to their crystal ball. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLEService: Transmission repair

If you have any questions about anything, they forward you to their corporate office where the only thing you can expect is rude and less than helpful customer service. Will not be going through with my service needs here. What a shame.

PLEASE NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, This guy stated to me that my timing belt ripped on my vehicle and said I needed a new engine since my car was an interference engine so the piston slapped my valves and bent them, now I m assuming he took of the inspection cover and seen that the belt was ripped but then we got into an argument that my engine was an non interference engine and then proceeded to talk to me like I didn t know my own car after rebuilding the engine and transmission, a day later I paid him 220 to get my car towed back home and I just wanted to take a look at how bad the damage was and there it was a non ripped perfectly intact timing belt, I m not upset at the fact that I lost 220, I m upset that he thought he could get away with scamming me by PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS MECHANIC, I WOULDN T TRUST HIM TO DO AN OIL CHANGEService: Vehicle Inspection

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR OR TRUCK TO THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. offering morris transmission poor to fair feedback is a complement. this place will rip you off. they are very nice and friendly until you give them your car. they told me the price for the repairs then added over $1000.00. the transmission was not fixed. it took 5 months to try to repair it. I had the car delivered to the dealer and was told the transmission was not repaired. this cost me over $600.00 to be told the repair was not done correctly. the owner thinks he is a tough guy and tries to push people around. his days are numbered (taking the punk to court) don't screw yourself. please look at the other comments from other customers on this shop you will see they are crooks. I don't know how they can sleep at night. probably with one eye opened with a shotgun in there hand. this is not a joke or prank. this place needs to be put out of business.

These guys at this shop are some of the nicest, most helpful people I have encountered in my life. We were on a cross country road trip from NJ to CA with our dirtbikes when we hit bad weather entering the mid west. Tony and Jason were pulling a box truck out of the center of the highway when we went to move over, we hit a patch of ice causing us to slide into their parked vehicle. Once they were done helping the box truck they loaded our truck onto the flat bed and brought us back to their shop. Where they allowed us to store all of our bikes and belongings in the shop that way they weren t out in the cold snowy weather. After they drove us to the nearest hotel where we spent our New Years weekend. The next business day they had no delay with working on our truck to get us back on the road ASAP. I am very satisfied and grateful for all the help they supplied us with to get us back on the road. As for everyone in the reviews saying the girl at the front desk is rude, I myself did not experience this at all with the tone in her voice it seemed as if she were smiling while talking to me and happy to help us out at all times. Thank you Morris Transmission for everything and wish you guys the best of luck with your business!

I only have one thing to say NEVER AGAIN will they get any business from myself or anyone that i talk to. And the way i understand it, he runs business off on his own, so i dont need to say much. PRICE GOUGING, BEWARE!!!!! I wouldn't send someone that i dislike there even. And the owner is just a rude person, it wont be long before they have NO BUSINESS. And before you decide to post that " I am not in your data base as you ever working on anything, I CAN post a pic of the receipt if necessary!

SO THANKFUL FOR THEIR HELP!! I was in the middle of a move across the whole country and broke down and they were the only ship that even treated me like a human being. They fixed my car right then and there, something NOBODY was willing to do and they did it to be kind knowing my situation.

Bought a Buick for 3k less than two months ago. Guy said the check engine light was nothing but an 02 sensor. Well that was very wrong. A whole list came up when we did a check. Bad wiring in the motor. The 02 sensor. Transmission torque converter. Starter just went out. And it's still in the shop for a bad wheel bearing, ball joint, and the fan actuator starting going out to. Easy sale, just not honest people.

Young woman at the desk was soooooo rude!! Snapping at me and was treating me like a piece of garbage. I was in there pleading my heart out and everything out of her mouth was like. A slap in the face. I left crying and shaking with her still yelling at me as I walked out. My son said the owner and his wife were super nice. This lady was their daughter or claimed to be. I will never step foot in that place again.and I sure wouldn't want to deal with that being a customer. She was snappy, the second I walked in before she even knew if I was a customer..

STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. I have a professional auto repair business and I am so busy I don't have time to rebuild transmissions. That being said I found out about these guys and they're pick up and delivery service and thought what an excellent way to service my customers. The first few trans jobs were great and went successfully and they were very professional. However the first issue we had they were making excuses about it being in the computer and charged us for a new computer and then after that it something else and so on and so forth. Well we had given them the benefit of the doubt and sent them another job for a customer who was from out of state and had his transmission fail thinking they would would take care of us because of the headache we had prior well this time they blew the engine up the the car that went a trans rebuild. And the thing that gets me is they called and said it starting knocking after the test drive. Makes me think maybe someone was abusing this vehicle that was owned and driven by an elderly couple. They never I repeat never give them my business or recommend them to any one ever again under no circumstances.

The crew here was a blessing to my son and I. We were moving from Michigan to Seattle and my car was over heating. They got me a new overflow reservoir for the radiator and we was able to make it home. Thank You everyone for helping us and Merry Christmas. God bless.

I can t express my appreciation enough to justify how happy I am with the guys at Morris Transmission. They towed my 2009 Titan from the dealer with a failed transmission and got it back to me very quickly with a repaired transmission. I won t say how fast because everyone will want it that quickly. Let s just say it could NOT have been any quicker. This is my work truck and every day it s not on the road it kills me financially. I told them this and they responded like warriors! Thanks everyone for your help! You ve got my business for sure!

This shop has misdiagnosed a transmission on a friend's Isuzu trooper. I am a trooper owner myself and have dealt with transmission issues with it in the past do to the previous owner never servicing it. His transmission has been rebuilt by them 3 times, and now they are telling him it's a problem with the ECM which is not true. An isuzu ECM never should have to be reflashed. They do not do business professionally and are just trying to get more momey out of your pocket. Do not trust this shop.

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! It should get no stars. Sure their nice at first take your money then a month later trans goes out AGAIN forget it. Don't respond! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! WASTE OF MONEY AND the lady at the front desk, WELL LETS JUST SAY GOOD LUCK.

Would give 0 stars if possible when driving next to them on pine buff road in morris the driver merged into the lane I was in knowing I was there almost causing an accident. The customer service people were not polite and hung up the phone. Would not recommend this place or want to be next to them.

Sunday, May 28th, was in a car accident on I-80. The next day was a holiday. I couldn't get to my totaled car. We went to Morris Trammission, where we were greeted with a happy, smiling welcome. They gave us the information we needed and off to the car. They assisted us in everything we asked of them. We actually made several trips to the car, each time very willing to help us.

Eric The new used car sales manager was very helpful in repairing my vehicle. They towed my vehicle in and i thought it was a motor but it was just the starter. this guy saved me money!

I broke down passing through on a Friday night. They got me in first thing Saturday morning and put in a new radiator and had me back on the road in a few hours. Unfortunately it was pretty expensive, but replacing the radiator did take some time. I just felt luck they fit me in and got me back on the road.

DO NOT GET YOUR TRANSMISSION REBUILT HERE!! Spent about $4000 on repair and trans broke again just 2 years later. Don t waste your money. You ll be spending it again shortly.

I was driving across country last week,I left Colorado on sunday 24 hours later after that my transmission starting spitting fluid near davenport,i iade it a few more miles then it was over,morris transmission drove out picked up me and my trailer,when I arrived I just had the best feeling about these folks,they informed me of what happened,they had rebuilt transmissions ready to go,I was on the road the next morning to ny,my truck runs and drives like new,and the cost was alot less then expected,if you need any type of service,and want to be in gr8 hands call up Morris transmission,they made it possible for me to het home for new years

NOT A PLACE I WOULD EVER TAKE MY CAR!!!!!car has been back 4 times for the same problem.Know they are refusing to fix itTHINK TWICE BEFORE EVER DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM.
