We bought a Charger from here back in 2020 and they made the transaction so easy and smooth. I always had the Charger serviced there and felt very welcomed every time. We just bought our 2nd vehicle on Saturday. Durangos are very popular right now but Travis and Clint had awesome communication with me for days trying to get a Durango from another location for me to test drive. We don t even question driving the 50 minutes from Coal Valley, IL because of the service and warm welcome we get every time we walk in the door!

Just purchased a 2023 jeep renegade from this great dealership. The whole process was incredibly quick and easy. Every single employee was courteous and friendly. Troy and Travis went out of their way to make sure I got the best deal on the vehicle. Highly satisfied customer.

They totally misrepresented the price of the car and added a bunch of warranties without asking. They sold me tires that were completely unsafe to be on the road. Honestly some of the worst people work here definitely ask any one that has bought from them before using them.

I have bought an over 60 cars in my lifetime and I'm here to say this is the easiest car transaction I've ever done I never spent more than 15 minutes at that dealership where other dealers you spend hours and you get no results. They work fast and they don't b******* you. They tell you how it is, but they can only be as honest as what you are honest, remember that? So that being said I would definitely go back and buy another car which i'm going to hear the few months

Honestly the process of buying a car is the most uncomfortable ever. That was not the case this time. The kunes crew couldn't have made this a better experience. Our sales person, Marcus, went above and beyond to take care of anything we asked. Andy made the finance process simple and understandable. Travis took fantastic care of us during the process beginning to end. We very much appreciate everything you guys have done for us.

I got the pleasure of working with Marcus and he was the best! He got me the kind of car I wanted for my kids and I and he walked me through everything. He even helped me get squared away on insurance. I'm forever grateful for him and Kunes!

Good experience all around, Travis and the team hooked us up. Andy got us set up to sign 95% of the paperwork from my desktop at home, only a few forms needed signed at the dealership like extended warranty and state of Illinois title stuff, that took all of 5 minutes. Quick and easy! Wife and I are pleased with the new Buick!Oh and can't forget Adam who got the plates all swapped and stickers pulled off on the coldest/windiest day of that week!

I got a ford explorer that broke down 2 weeks after I got it. they gave me a hassle about fixing it I had to pay to have it towed to them. They had it for 10 days they were supposed to change the oil sensor the receipt said they put a new battery in it. The engine light was still on and it still died occasionally because of low oil pressure. I got my free oil change and it hasn t been driven since. It was the motor the whole time. I definitely would not buy from them again

They sell lemons beat up bogus cars then when you leave the lot they say it s not their fault I took a right turn and my left wheel fell off, their response back was well if it was our fault it would ve happened before you left the lot they do not do quality checks on vehicles and dodge all responsibility poor service never buy from them again

I don t usually leave bad reviews, but this is a dealership that has been adding huge market adjustments to their new vehicles. This is price gouging and I hope people remember this as the market cools back down. There are other dealers in the area that did not participate in this price gouging.Edit: It wasn t a lifted truck. Here are some photos.

Not happy with the work they did to the front-end of my truck. Left power steering fluid all over my steering box and power steering fluid was low. One of the bolts on the steering box got damaged and I think my steering box is leaking power steering fluid now. I'm keeping a eye on the fluid to see if it goes down again, had to add power steering fluid 2 times so far. But it might of had air lines, just have to see. Still looking wet after cleaning the power steering fluid off the steering box.

Took my Ram in for questions and concerns. Kunes stayed true to everything I was told. Kunes was on time at every point. Work done was actually less than what I was quoted. I will be a returning customer.

Thank you Kunes of Monmouth. We literally looked everywhere for a Grand Wagoneer Series III with both the tow package and 2nd row bench seat. When we saw that Kunes had one, We called and spoke with Jon, who was super helpful and knowledgeable. He worked with us on our trade in and gave us a great deal. We were shocked to only pay sticker price as most other dealerships wanted several thousand over. Travis worked with us on the paperwork, and we were able to do almost the whole deal through phone calls and e-mails. Just one week from our first phone call, we drove all the way from Wyoming and when we arrived, everyone was so friendly and the car was sparkling and ready. We were greeted by Jim, who was so nice and welcoming. Clint did the test drive with us and showed us how to work all the bells and whistles. He knew how to work everything! The whole process was so smooth! Definitely beats the last car buying process we went though at a local dealership. We can honestly say, that we would still consider coming back to purchase future vehicles from this dealership even at over 800 miles away. The customer service here is exceptional! I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Kunes, even if you are out of state!

Got the job done quickly and did not make a mess inside the vehicle . The service man knew what he was doing. Had to park back the same day. Tech install is the same day work so I could charm. I would recommend this facility to my friends.

If I could give it zero stars, I would! I called and told them I was interested in one vehicle on their lot and nothing else. 3 hours later, after driving all the way to Monmouth, I was told they sold it an hour ago. Marcus tells me "I'm not worried about it". Well considering I drove there for ONLY that vehicle, he should have been worried about it. I should have gotten a phone call stating it was sold. Anyway...he asks why I was interested in the sold vehicle and I said price and miles. He proceeds to show me 2 vehicles. 1st one was 20,000 more miles then the one I was interested in. I take it for a ride anyway. He goes with us. He tells me where to drive and we literally went around the block then asks if I'm interested. I informed him that wasn't even a test drive, that was going around the block, but not interested due to miles. He brings us up another vehicle that is nice and about the same miles. I asked about price...more than once. He says it's not in inventory. We take it for a ride, longer than the last one. He asks if we are interested. I said it depends on the price. Again, he says it's not in inventory and would have to check. So we go inside and sit and I am looking at their website...that car IS in inventory and it is $12,000 more then the car I was originally interested in. I went up to the manager's desk and asked if it was. $33,000 car. He looks me dead in the eye and says yes. I asked for my keys back. Don't lie to me just to try to make a deal that wasn't going to happen anyway! BYE!

Bought a car here and was also forced into a warranty I did not want. Have tried to mitigate it with them but they claim zero responsibility even though they admitted they had an ex employee who engaged in doing this! I just want my auto loan fixed and the fact you won't work with me says so much!!!!

Someone forged my signature for a cancellation on the warranty for my car (without my knowledge). The current finance manager Melissa was extremely rude and condescending, dismissing my claims because the signature was there. Travis was sympathetic to the situation and offered to "have the shop take a look" but still was trying to sell me a monthly warranty.Below is a comparison of my actual signature on the left and the forged signature on the right. The second image is the cancellation request that show many inconsistencies--handwritten notes, incorrect cancellation mileage, and my forged signature of course.Shop here and risk identity theft! Just go to extra miles to Macomb Kunes..they provide great service!

I bought my car in Monmouth Kunes Dealership and I have been thankful with there business and very satisfied taking care of my 2019 Jeep Cherokee , when I gotmy oil change and anything us that needs to be done ,I recommend them to everyone. Friday January 6th was working, stopped at a box in the country and when I went to take off i thought I was in neutral. Checked and it was in drive and took off slow (obviously something wrong with my transmission) drove back to the post office and called a tow truck. Called Kunes .talked to the service guy told him what was going on. Also told him when I had my oil changed the week before I was told I had a very tiny leak in my transmission (the guy said that the fluid wasn t low) Saturday they call and give me the list of what s all wrong .they need to replace 2 seals in the transmission .change the fluid which will cost $1800. Also told me they recommend all new brakes (just had new brakes put on the back a month before) and a couple other things I asked what is NEEDED to get it back on the road?? He said the other stuff obviously could wait a while since the transmission seals would be $1800 and that would get me back to work. Parts didn t come in when they were supposed to twice (I know how things can be) finally on Thursday everything was in and it would be ready to be picked up that afternoon. Get a call that afternoon asking so was your transmission slipping? I said yea that s why it was towed to your shop!!! (Did they not even drive it??). He proceeds to tell me I need a new transmission for $7700 AND I still owe 1800 for the work they did!!! My work jeep wasn t worth putting a new transmission in sold to a salvage yard and was told he put it n reverse and it backed up and when he put it in drive the engine wouldn t rev up .he doesn t think the actual problem is even the transmission. Needless to say I will NEVER do business with Kunes in Monmouth again!!
