Bought a 70 Charger 500 from these guys in December 2015 while deployed, had a good friend handle everything for me and the overall buying portion went pretty well. Mr Young sent me pics of the car, stated it was getting new sheet metal, and it seemed like I was getting a great deal. Fast forward to now, I was finally able to get enough free time to travel back to Illinois and trailer the car from my parents to where I currently live to finish the car myself. Decided to take the motor out and front clip off to see what kind of shape the sub frame and inner fenders were in. Frame was rotted out on passenger side and partially collapsed, outside of frame rot was covered with 22ga sheet metal to make the appearance of a solid frame. Front of rocker panels were rotted out, these guys never even removed the front fenders but that wasn t the kicker, body filler looked pretty wavy under the driver side door so I hit it with a sander. After sanding off almost 1/4 of body filler I found that the rocker panels were rotted out. Mind you that this body filler was slapped on top of rust and the original and second layers of paint. They did replace the rear quarters but they slapped them on over a rusted out rear frame section which I ll have to remove their work to do it right like they should have done in the first place. So to back track a little bit, Mr Young sent me pics from the previous restoration making it look like everything was fresh and done right, shortcuts were taken in multiple areas rather than doing it right with sheet metal repair, and while I was still gone my buddy asked for some parts that were missing(was told they would get the parts to him, never received them). I know this all happened almost 2 years ago but I d be cautious with what kind of product you may be getting from Old School Classics.

Bruce and the team at OSC are great! I have taken several vehicles to them for paint work and the finished product has always turned out top-notch. Bruce communicates with you throughout the whole process and allows you to stop in to see how things are going. They always finish the job on time and will stay late in the evening to not miss the deadline. I would definitely recommend taking any restoration, bodywork, paint work, or etc. to Old School Classics! Five Stars!!!

I drove my 1972 Cadillac Eldorado resto-mod from Los Angeles to Chicago for a Cadillac convention. After 2 weeks of delicious deep dish pizza, museums, and tours, I was ready to return. I went to start my car and discovered the battery was dead. AAA replaced the battery, and discovered the engine would crank but would not turn over. I needed to find a repair shop or make arrangements to ship it home.I began a Google search and quickly began calling classic auto repair shops , asking for help. The replies ranged from We can t take you for 2 weeks to We don t work on cars that old . I finally dialed Old School Classics in Monee IL. Bruce listened patiently to my predicament and said he would help. I had the car towed from downtown Chicago to his shop in Monee. Bruce greeted me and began working on it right away, with help from Mike and Ray. By the end of the day Bruce had isolated the problem to the EFI control module, one of the many modifications I had made to improve performance.Bruce continued working on my car first thing next morning. He reached technical support at Holley, who helped him verify that that the ECM module was fine. They directed Bruce to a hidden relay that tested bad. After replacing the relay, the engine fired up perfectly. I was very grateful to pay this bill, be on my way and avoid a $4,000 charge to ship the car back home. My car ran perfectly for the 2,000 mi trip back to Los Angeles.Bruce, Mike, and Ray are honest Old School people. You can trust their expertise. They deliver excellent service quickly and efficiently.

I would rate old school classics a 5/5 because I brought a 69 charger there to have it recently restored. Overall I would say the job they did was worth the price I was charged! My charger wasn't there longer than 6months. I would recommend that you call theses guys at old school classics for anything you need done to your cars there very good at what they do.

I bought a 1970 Plum Crazy Charger from Bruce. Bruce was straight up during transaction, car was exactly as advertised. No concerning issues uncovered when restoration started. Price was fair for this all numbers matching, limited edition car. I am in frequent contact with Bruce for new autos/projects that he has available for sale and am looking forward to my next project with him. Bruce is very knowledgeable about the charges that he has and is always willing to help with my project questions and point me in the right direction to have the best end result - HIGH value car!!I've seen Bruce's work from his shop and if he was in closer proximity to me geographically, he would be doing all my restorations.Highly recommend Bruce if you are looking for a great late model Charger or other MOPARS.

If I ever decide to paint my car again, or if I ever get another car that needs paint I will most definitely call these guys again. I drop off my 1988 Chevy caprice to them and when I got it back it looked completely amazing. The work here is awesome! I will definitely be coming back again.

OSC Coachworks took on my 1969 Charger Rebuild Project. I was a bit concerned with the long distance communication challenge but Bruce and his team did a great job of keeping me in the loop with progress reports and photos as the project progressed. I felt very engaged in all aspects of the decision making process on my project. As a build of the magnitude will have many.I highly recommend Bruce and his team at OSC Coachworks for automotive projects. The experience was great and I am VERY happy with the results. Thanks Bruce and the OSC team!!!!

Bought a 69 charger from Mr young that supposedly was a very solid car he sent me plenty of pictures making the car out to be great and were supposed to converted over to a four-speed for me and have a rebuilt 440 engine that was ready to go in the car was supposed to be painted my color choice of which it was The car was supposed to have new quarters and a new trunk floor but quarters were patched over the rusted ones and the trunk floor was never touched and you can literally push holes into it with your fingers the engine didn't even have the head gaskets and the wiring harness was supposed to be connected except for the engine bay instead everything was a stuffed under the dash the inner wheel tubs are rusted out The passenger side frame rail for the torsion bars is rusted out that they tried to patch over it with very thin gauge metal and I didn't even receive all the four speed conversion parts even after several calls to Mr. Young. He trys to act like your friend and think he's giving you a good deal but for what I paid for this car this was a total devastation and screwed me over I would not buy a car from these guys no matter how good it looks know that there is either a bunch of Bondo or rust and nothing is as promised the paint job has more runs then you could count and as the car gets closer to being finished every time I talk to mr. Young something changed or things he promised before you paid aren't happening after you paid like the motor was supposed to be ready to go then at one point he told me but you need a cam and lifters then push rods and then I get it and no gaskets writing this review so no one goes through what I am dealing with.
