Would give ZERO stars if possible... worst service ever. Went there for an oil change and it took over 4 hours! Didn't have a oil filter for my car after it was all apart, they ordered one and the guy broke the gasket on the filter oil everywhere on the ground, got another filter-no gasket, got another one and finally fixed my car STILL had the guts to charge me for the oil change!!!! But offered me a free oil change next time... never would go there ever again

They called me 5 minutes prior to my appointment to cancel it due to having no technicians. When I informed the guy on the phone that he lost my service, he hung up on me. Worst service I have ever received.

It was my first visit here. I had a coupon for a road ready check-up. $139.99, and they did a great job with everything and informed me I needed brakes and rotars. Wasn't something I was prepared for, but ok'd the work. I hadn't expected to be there for additional work and had medication I needed to take but needed food. One of the employees offered to go a couple blocks away and grab me a cheeseburger so I could take my blood thinner. I wanted to pay him, but he graciously refused. I will probably call them because after leaving, my car was pulling left and previously went straight down the highway. They rotated my tires, so it is possibly a tire issue. I am certain whatever it is, they'll make it right. All the employees were very friendly and the place was well kept.I highly recommend Carx if you need any work done that is within their realm of expertise.

10/10 recommend for any and every issue with your vehicle. Drop your car off and be back on the road worry free. They are FAST, FRIENDLY and the biggest one for me is that they're HONEST. Their pricing is more than fair. I had my car towed in while I was out of state and they had it fixed the next day; 3 days before I got back in. Ryan was more than willing to pick me up from the airport to bring me to my car when I flew back in. Give these guys your business for all of your vehicle problems. I own a small business locally and have taken my work van here for years. I had my van towed in to be repaired at their shop. They called and said it had a vacuum leak and maybe it was the fuel pump. Maybe? So they put a new one on don't bother to check for codes on the engine. They tell me its ready, I come pick it up and its noticeably running rough when I start it. Halfway to the our shop it breaks down so now I had to have it towed and find a new shop. Thanks for the undiagnosed parts slap and a $1,000 bill!Service: Engine repair

Fantastic customer service! Staff are super friendly and take the time to clearly explain what exactly you are paying for. They are also super accommodating. Prior to my appointment I had stated I needed the car done by the end of the day. When there was an unexpected part needed for my car, the assistant manager drove out to get it so I could have my car ready before closing. They really care about the customer's satisfaction and the quality of their work. Pricing is very reasonable and I even saved a bunch of money from discounts. First off, I would like to thank Ryan for his professionalism with it comes to the business. He is an individual that understands customer service and the value that it provides. Due to this, I have recommended individuals to QC auto service.I have had several services performed on my car from oil changes, replacement or rotors, break pads, tires balanced, and full exhaust replacement. The staff has always been extremely professional and they genuinely care about the services they provide. I love the no BS approach that this shop has and will always give you the honest truth. Complete incompetent mis-diagnosis that cost me $50.00. This place has absolutely no diagnostic test equipment for ABS. AutoZone did a much better diagnostic test. Incompetent technicians stand around smoking inside the service area all morning when they're not driving my car. The technician took my car for a test drive, then put it up on the hoist and revved the engine up to super high RPMs for several minutes... From that they decided I needed a wheel bearing assembly for about $500 which was completely incorrect according to the nissan dealership. It actually needed a wheel speed sensor....Not to mention super rude customer service from the desk attendant. Glad to say I won't be coming back. But they can send me a refund for my $50.Service: Brakes

I am an extremely grateful customer. Ryan is an absolute rock star. I had an appointment at a Buick dealer because I needed an oil change and new brakes. I also had a horrible burning smell. Neither Buick dealership would fix the oil leaking turbo issue without it producing a code, even with an extended warranty purchased from them. Ryan managed to calm me down, get me a rental car, fix the problem , and have it covered under warranty saving me thousands of out of pocket expense. Ryan was able to get me in ASAP! Was very accommodating as I am from out of town! Work was done in a very timely manor! Even gave me a ride to a hotel over night!Dave was great working on my van! I'm so thankful for QC Auto. Working me in on short notice. I thought I Had arranged not needing my vehicle. Then after they started work I had an emergency come up and they had me ready in no time and I was able to get back on the road . Great value for the price as well.

My family were clients for over 15 years, best service.We are a retired military family and loved how honest the manager was. He made a list of 1 through 10 that need to be done. That helped us so much. About year ago the whole place changed. The people that would take care of us were no longer with Moline location. We had work done not knowing of the change. So after picking our car there was $300 more than we signed up for. And the "new manger" was very rude and stated he let us know of the amount. We will never recommend or use there services again! Be careful what you agree too and the amount that is quoted. 0 stars

The water pump was going out in my explorer, which is a pain to repair. They got me in quickly and completed the work quickly. I will be using them again. Shout out to Dave who is a nice guy and a great tech.

Derrick is amazing. He treats women customers with integrity and honesty. I know this bcs that is how we met. When I was looking for a shop, I would call for a price and then a day later I would have my husband call. Derrick told the both of us the same price and other stuff I don't understand. For over 10+ years I have been a customer. They have helped me with all sorts of issues even if it was just me, who now knows why the front tires always look lower than the back ones. If Derrick leaves he better leave me a fella with a glowing recommendation, because he just can't be replaced. If I don't talk to him I don't go. The shop guys do wonderful work as well. They always leave my car clean, the tall guy is super nice too.

I went in with the noise in my engine. They told me I needed several things and it was going to cost me $2,500. I paid the money got the repairs picked up my car and nothing had changed the same noise was there. To make a long story short the reason it was making noise was because it was low on oil it had nothing to do with the repairs that they made. And they are not willing to refund my money. It was clearly their error and diagnosing the problem.Service: Engine repair

Only go there if you need to. They will likely try to sell you on more work than you need. If your car can still drive, try to get a second opinion on the work they state your car needs. They can get you back on the road, but they will take you for a ride. If you do get service, make sure it is actually fixed properly! Our cars were in and out for the same thing, very disappointing experience as a whole. Now come to find out that my dealership is charging me in excess of $300 to replace a leaking hose and clamp that QC Auto Service could not repair on 3 separate visits.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

As fleet owner, our worst fear is that one of our vehicles breaksdown in an unfamiliar City and State. Well that's exactly what happened to us, however through constant communication by Allison Garcia and their top notch mechanics our vehicle was fixed and back on the road in record time. I will limp any of my other vehicles here if they breakdown because with people like this I no longer fear! Thank you very Much!!!

Pulled in to get an estimate for brakes. Saw an employee's car with antivax BS, calling people Sheeple. Decided not to stop.Lost family to Covid, had it myself. Don't appreciate being insulted.If they don't believe in medical science can I trust they belive in auto mechanics?

I had a very positive an excellent experience dealing with Ryan Frantz at the QC auto service in Moline Illinois. I was in transit crossing the country when the engine began feeling sluggish and the check engine light came on, I promptly pulled off at the next exit which happened to be Moline Illinois not far from Kusi auto service I went to the location Ryan was very courteous and professional, he told me he would get my vehicle in the days lineup and I assumed it would be a several hour affair, but was pleasantly surprised when he called me after a little over an hour and he said that it just needed a tuneup, I gave them the authorization and QC change the plugs, wires, ignition coil, fuel filter and recommended other minor repairs such as change windshield wiper blades etc. and they completed the tune up In a timely manner, went over the guarantee with me, and I was very pleased and impressed overall with the courteousness, attention to detail, professionalism, Knowledge and efficiency of QC auto service manager Ryan Frantz and I highly recommend this location!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

Fast, reliable, affordable service. I'm a college student and this was my first time taking my car in to be repaired on my own, and Ryan at the front desk was incredibly understanding, helpful, and friendly. These guys are definitely going to be my go-to for auto repairs in the Quad Cities, and I would highly recommend them.

I am 70 years old and was traveling alone. The rear brakes were leaking fluid and my brakes failed. I stopped and talked to Ryan Frantz. He told me what was wrong and what it would cost to repair. I thought he might be taking advantage of me. I asked him if he would talk to my mechanic. He really should have been offended, but graciously agreed. My mechanic told me Ryan had indeed, talked to him. With what I told him was happening Ryan was spot on, and the price was in line. I stopped to have the l lug nuts re-torqued and met Ryan's manager, Matt Worthen. I am very impressed with the quality of all their employees! I am beyond pleased with the service I received here! Scott was super friendly and helpful. When I dropped my van off I didn't have a ride back and was ready to order an uber but he asked one of the guys to give me a ride home instead! Then while getting my van fixed I'm sure he understood its Christmas time so he helped save me some money. I'm am so happy with my service here and would definitely recommend this shop to others needing repairs!

I happen to stop by Q.C. Auto Service in Moline Monday November 5TH. Notice on the sign outside they were running a sale on tires. So I decided to stop in there. And they all were very helpful to me got me right in that day to get them on. Plus let me know about my tire rod needed to be fix also. I thought there price was very reasonable if I happen went to Dealer Ship I Probably would of got charge more than that. I believe that's where I'll start taking my car to from now on. Because they treat you with respect. Thanks again.

Derek is extremely knowledgable and totally professional in every business transaction he makes. As a woman, I trust him to tell me only what I need to fix my car and nothing more. He is the most honest guy I have ever met in the auto repair business. He tells you what you need now, and what repairs you will need in the next six months so you can start saving funds for those repairs. I have sent several family members and friends to him and they are all loyal customers now. Go see Derek, you will not be disappointed!

I recently purchased a different car (used) that will be needing work. I took my previous car here and the staff was always courteous and willing to work with you on pricing and service. My latest expierience was drastically different. I "scheduled" some work for routing work that was competitively priced. But when I asked to include a very basic addition to the job they quoted an unreasonable price and were not as friendly at all. I believe now that they have gotten busier they are able to pick and choose the work they want by over pricing service. My advice, take you car somewhere else.

I called QC Auto Service about an issue with my transmission and got me in immediately. They completed a diagnostic search and determined I should take it to a dealer instead. They printed off the codes and recommend I give the sheet to the dealer. They also refused to charge me for the diagnostic test because they didn't provide any other services. I highly recommend QC Auto Service for their honesty and great service!

Ryan at the Moline location is a real asset. He was informative and went the extra steps in making sure my extended warranty claim for the work that I needed done was handled.
