Honest. Quality work. And no unforeseen charges. I'd recommend them for any work. My daughter's transmission was bad, and they fixed it and also fixed another problem that no other mechanic could diagnose.

The Transmission in our company van went out.Moline Transmission Service ordered one, installed it and delivered it 1 week earlier than we expected.Susie, handled everything from the first call to delivery. Her quote was to the penny. She is awesome!

Recently had my vehicle serviced by moline transmission. This all started when I had called them and wanted to get information on replacing a slave cylinder on my vehicle. I would provide the parts and everything needed to install on the vehicle. I was quoted 7hours since the transmission needed to be removed to install a new slave cylinder.I called on October 27th and they stated they had about a week worth of work to complete before they would be able to pick up additional jobs. I had no problem with this as I decided to make the appointment for November 13th (17days from appointment call). Time comes to have my vehicle towed and it s dropped off early morning Monday November 13th. I figured I d give them time and let them work to complete the job. Friday November 17th comes and I hadn t heard anything from them so I call and receive an update. Moline transmission stated they had a couple call ins during the week and they hadn t touched my car. Not a horrible issue but I figured they had plenty of time to finish. I understand things happen.Following week of November 20th, they begin the work. Once again I figure 7hrs at a leisure pace the job should be done right in time for me to have the car before Thursday Thanksgiving. I decide to call on Wednesday afternoon and ask for an update. Moline transmission stated they re tidying everything up and they re doing their best to have it done by close of business day 5pm as they are closed for Thanksgiving. 5pm comes around and I never hear anything. At this point I figure I ll go to the shop on Friday to see what the delay is. I go to shop Friday morning and they have a sign saying they are closed both Thursday and Friday as well as the weekend as they only work Monday-Friday. At this point I m disappointed, I believed I could have a reputable shop complete the work in a timely manner as I would have believed they had sufficient time. (Let it be noted there was a hiccup in parts provided yet that was quickly resolved in less than 1hr) I was told because of this they needed to move on to another vehicle and put my car on hold.Monday November 27th I call again for an update and they once again state they re still working on the car and should have it done today. More time passes on and no call. Finally, Wednesday November 29th I am frustrated because I haven t received my car , I was told 2 times on separate days they should have the car done by end of business but yet they continued to work on it. The update for today was they are letting it sit as it has been bled and will be test driven later in the day to ensure the work was done properly. The car had been sitting at the shop since November 13th and the job was finally completed November 29th.I had my car in storage and placed the vehicle back on full coverage insurance because it was going to be driven publicly again. Due to the excessive length of time it was being worked on I felt as if I needed to place the vehicle back on storage insurance as it seemed that s what I was paying for. I gave moline transmission a 17day notice of my car being dropped off. They had the car for 16/17 days from drop off. The job was quoted 7hrs, moline transmission stated they worked on the car much longer than 7hrs and the job wasn t going the way they would have liked but only were going to charge me the 7hrs. I believe they understood this isn t the service they want to provide.In the end the job itself was completed well as my car returned to proper function. The timeliness to complete my car was very poor. If you are able to be without your car for over half a month then they ll work with you. If you have a timeline seek other options.This was my experience and I understand others have better/worse experiences.

Moline Transmission was so helpful and polite and generous to my little boy. They fixed my speed sensor something with the transmission and they did a Wonderful job. Mike was so nice to me made me feel like family me and my son and Susie is so nice and Wonderful everybody body there who helped me was so helpful and made sure I had good service. I will definitely recommend them to anyone that was my first experience ever with them and I give them 100 percent service and I m taking my car there again to get something else done that s how much satisfied I was with Mike and Susie. This place is great!They not only fixed my truck for a fair price, but they also called me to come on for a free follow-up to make sure there were still no problems.That kind of attention to the customers' needs is rare and should I need help again I wouldn't go anywhere else!

They do my service on my vehicles they are very trustworthy and reasonable I had a issue a day before my vacation and when I called was told to bring it right in and they repaired my vehicle in less then 24 hours I know the owners and it s a family owned business that care.The staff is courteous and professional I would recommend them for all you needs.Services: Transmission, Electrical

Moline transmission is a great shop. Not the cheapest for labor(you get what you pay for here and my issue was a bit complex). The staff is incredibly friendly and forthcoming. They call and confirm repairs and prices. They don't hide charges until later like other shops. Altogether I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Outstanding customer service. The office staff is highly organized and educated and will clearly explain in layman's terms any service needed and answer questions, or relay back to the shop for more information if needed. This shop has excellent employee retention (some 20, some as many as 40 years) and seems a pleasant place to work; making a very good experience for customers. Good work done honestly and at a reasonable price. I don't hesitate to follow their recommendations. Their main focus is transmission work, but will also do other vehicle maintenance if requested. I have been using them for 15+ years and have no intention of going elsewhere any time soon.

I was put to ease knowing that my car would be taken care of. The receptionist was so sweet and kind and the mechanics made me feel so confident in their work and expertise. My car went in on a Monday, the transmission was ordered, and it was finished on a Thursday. I highly recommend Moline Transmission.

Everyone I came in contact with at MTS from the first phone call until I picked up my finished truck was very professional and courteous. They explained everything about what they were going to do, what my options were, how long it would take and what the costs would be. I would not hesitate to recommend these people to any of my family and friends. It is good to know that there are still some businesses with pride and professionalism left here.

Great place, quality work, came in under estimate, and gave me options on what I needed and what was optional but recommended. Since they don't try to steer you wrong,? I suggest you get what the recomend. Still came in 70 dollars below estimates. Need to buy those guys a couple cases of beer! I owe them!

I'm a huge fan of any business that does what it says it will do. This was my first experience with Moline Transmission Service, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results and service I received. Susie kept me informed with updates on 3 different occasions during the day and just simply provided the best in customer service. I'll definitely return for any future repair needs!

They were great. Explained the things wrong with my car. Very polite. I just wish i knew all they checked so i dont have it have rechecks. But i will go back again if i need more service.

We recently had to have our trucks transmission repaired at Moline Transmission. It was recommended by a friend of ours. I called and was able to bring the truck in that morning. The truck was repaired within a few days and all though it was an expensive repair, it was within the amount we were quoted. Having said that, I know a transmission remove/repair/replace is a big job so we are happy with everything from the office manager to the repairmen. They run a great business!

Great shop! My newly installed hydraulics for clutch formed a leak and they were prompt and friendly in diagnosing and repairing the issue under the vendor warranty with no questions asked and didn't charge me for a thing. Definitely would recommend and will return in the future! Thanks guys!

I would not hesitate one second to recommend the technicians at Moline Transmission Services for any type of auto repair or service needs. I worked for over 20 years on truck trailer servicing and repair and I would like to think that I have a better than average insight into how to recognize a quality service facility. Their technicians Are among the best I have ever encountered.

I had my transmission completely rebuilt on my 98 Ranger by moline transmission about a month ago, so far it has been working great. The customer service is amazing and they treated me well, also the mechanics are very friendly and seem caring about the work they do. I highly recommend this place

I have been using Moline Transmission for probably a decade now for my automotive service needs. They have always been prompt and reliable and they do not upsell you on services you don't need at the time but they are quick to let you know what you might need in the future, which is appreciated. I would highly recommend Mike and Terry and all their mechanics. Great service, good people at a fair price.

Very quick service, now I didnt have a very hard fix on my Yukon. But they did do it quick, kept me informed. Even found parts for me that was cheaper in price with the same good quality parts. I give'm an A.

WOW !! Took in a TH 400 for complete rebuild. Had it back within a week. Tony was very informative about all work completed to include the initial set up and start up of the transmission .Excellent service and staff. Thanks!!
