I won t use anyone else!!! They have worked on my cars for years and when I managed a fleet of construction vehicles they serviced all of them! Jim and his team will give it to you straight. They do exactly what they say they will do and stand by their work and warranty it if there are any problems. In the automotive repair industry you get what you pay for and Jim gives you the highest quality work for the the most reasonable prices and a great warranty. I called 5 different auto shops and everyone said they were booked out a week. Called Jim Whan's and they said if I brought my car in they could try to fit it in. Not only did they fit me in that day, they got the service done within 2 hours. They also have a shuttle service that I was very grateful for. Thank you everyone at Jim Whan's

I found my new go to "neighborhood" car repair shop. I grew up when you local gas station could fix anything on your car. Those days are gone, or I thought. My friend recommended "Jim What's Automotive". What I thought was a serious issue, they fixed in 45min. Very professional, great service and great prices. Genuinely unhelpful waited 3 days to diagnose the car, told me it would need weeks to repair. Had to tow the car there to have it diagnosed. Had to pay for diagnose with no service and they wouldn't offer to cover a tow to a place that could do it in a more reasonable time frame.

Best mechanic in the state. Jim's is an exceedingly rare example of how a business should be run. It's a place where a handshake means something. Jim's word really means something.

Only had an oil change and a tire pressure sensor changed. Jim ended up doing both for a fraction of what I was 1st quoted b/c it took awhile longer than planned. More than fair, left happy. Not the 1st time there,,,it's been awhile. I'll be back. Busy place. Be careful leaving there/pulling out.

There's way too much to say. Every single time I've had work done and drive away from this shop my car drives like a brand new car and even smells like a brand new car. They go above and beyond. I DRIVE AN 18 YEAR OLD VEHICLE!! It's amazing the quality of work done at a fair price. From the time you make the appointment til your car is done (ALWAYS ON TIME), you feel spoiled by the unmatched service. It's truly amazing in this day and age. Every step of the process is unlike anything I've experienced in my 65 years. OUTSTANDING service! Outstanding repairs done right. Do you want it all from an auto repair place. I'm from Florida,my car got a antifreeze leak while trying to make it to Illinois. They got me right in, couldn't get the right part,but did everything to get the job done and get me back on the road. I have vever meet a group of the greatest guys. I highly recommend Jim whan s I hit a deer a few months ago totaled my engine my insurance adjuster got me in it s was a delay on the engine but it was worth every minute hour second day night I travel a lot for work to make long story short I got it back yesterday drove to Missouri back home quit smooth like nothing was every wrong I wonna thank Mr,Dr Jim and his team of mechanical surgeons for revving my promaster back to life merry Christmas and peace and blessings to all Thank you

August of 2022, my family and i were on a trip out to Iowa. My husband ran over a deer in the middle of the night and it punctured our gas tank, we didn t realize it until we stopped for gas a few hours later at 5:30 am. Jim got us in right away, and was able to find a used gas tank so we weren t stranded (no rental cars available at the time) after a few hours we were on our way to Iowa! Highly recommend, thanks for taking care of our family

I am extremely pleased with the service I received at Jim Whan's automotive. Honest and skilled crew. We had a check engine light issue along with the car sputtering. They scheduled me for the next morning! That is very important as my wife and I both work and have to take kids to school so being down a car can really mess things up for us.Within a couple hours I received a call that the car diagnosis was finished. And they were able to do the diagnosis and repair for a very reasonable price. I went to get a small service done and wasn t schedule for about a hour after I dropped my vehicle off. I got a call at the time of what was suppose to been the drop off time saying my vehicle was ready. They are fast and diligent with their work, and I will be returning for any other car issues that they can handle.

Was told day one that my total price would be 1,180 then 5 days later I go to get it they tell me it is now 1,360 out of no where and half my key fob was broken when I got the car back and ontop of that they unplugged my subs completely and left them like that without letting me know having to find out on my own then the people at the counter had a rude demeanor to them and didn t seem to car they broke my key fob. Very poor experience definitely won t be returning to Jim Whan s
