Awesome service! Super friendly customers and staff. Steve was very helpful and had me in and out of the shop probably within an hour. I walked in with no appointment and they were able to fix my two flat tires and lug nuts that were rusted and stripped. I appreciate your exceptional customer service. I ll definitely be back when needed!! Thank you!!

It was a pleasant experience last week having my muffler replaced and if your in the area it's th go to exhaust repair shop on La Grange Rd. From the immediate service, expertise and being able to be dropped back off at work during the repair was huge. These 5 stars were earned so thank you Gus, Steve and crew.

It was a horrible experience you guys are a rip off you couldn't even bolt down my coil pack you guys took off and another bracket for my Alternator and then have the nerve to charge me 155 dollars for it I will be calling coperate about this I would give you no star's but I have to give you 1 for me to make my review

Brought my Audi in for a diagnostic check when the check engine light came on. I first went into AutoZone to read the code and it stated the most likely issue was the thermostat. After Hi-Tech took a look at my vehicle, Gus stated that my water pump was bad , that something beneath or connected to it was melted/ melting and that he couldn t see what it was, and that the car couldn t be driven. The estimate also said the drive belt needed to be replaced. I decided to take the vehicle to Audi and they ran a comprehensive diagnostic check and all it indicated was a failed thermostat. I m not sure where Hi-Tech got a bad water pump, drive belt, and that something was melted/melting. The dealership did not indicate that any of the above things they mentioned were bad in any way and noted nothing melted. If I followed Hi-Tech s recommendation I would ve lost $1200 and still had a faulty thermostat. Therefore, I m not sure if it was ineptitude or in bad faith, but if AutoZone got it right and a professional mechanic shop didn t, I think I should be refunded the $175 diagnostic fee. If you don t know enough about a car or aren t sure then just say so

I was charged $26 extra for using my debit card as payment but no extra charge for cash payments.They said debit or credit have extra charge.But they let me know during the very moment I am paying my bill because if I only notified by them in advance then I should bring the cash payment.In fairness they fix my car on time.

I wish there was zero stars to choose for this place!!! I came with a flat tire and they didn't have my tire. I found the tire somewhere else but needed someone to put a spare so I can drive there and the manager refused to help me. I sat in their parking lot for 2 hours waiting for roadside assistance and they would not help me!!!! The worst shop and customer service I have experienced in my life!!!

I picked Hi-Tech because of reviews, they did not disappoint. My 18 year was stranded in Chicago due to bad rim/tire on way back to Colorado. Gus was responsive, patient, communicative, and treated my son like his own. They charged a fair price, helped review purchase options for best decisions, and worked as fast as possible to find a replacement wheel and get him back on the road ahead of a brutal winter storm. Started trusting their work with my vehicles until the last visit!! Scratched my rims replacing valve stems and overtightend my lugs to the point of stripping one of my studs verified by another mechanic. I wanted to be able to recommend these guys but I just can't.I brought my car to them with a specific issue to be fixed (a timing chain). They looked at the car and said the issue wasn't the timing chain it was something else. I listened to them and fixed what they said was the issue. Fast forward, I dropped over $4,000 on repairs here and the car is still in the same, if not worse, condition then it is when I first brought it in.I don't think they are dishonest per se, but their agents upsell repairs and at the end of the day I'm out $4k on a car that, according to them, now needs a new engine. Needless to say I won't be back.

Dis honestThey tell you about something wrong but when you go and get another opinion , it s not true , also they up charge you even when using debit card , very very bad experience , will never go back or recommend them to family and friends

Went in for a second opinion for emissions work on my sons car. They did the work in a timely matter. The contacted me and informed me on everything they were doing and how much it would cost. They did the work at a reasonable price and cheaper then the big box car shop down the street. Will definitely go back for any future work, and would highly recommend them to friends and family.Service: Engine repair
