Generations of the owning family have served their communities with friendly and experienced service. I trust Matt and his team implicitly and I cannot recommend anything or anyone more.

Ewerts Auto has exceptional service. If you are looking for a reliable shop, this is the right place to be. After having my car towed there for some repairs, they were quick to get me back on the road and even gave me insight on some future repairs I should look at getting down the road, pressure free. They are a genuine and professional business, and a place you can recommend to any family or friends looking for a mechanic they can have some longevity with.Matt is wonderful, highly recommend their services to anyone! Ewert s is easy to schedule and does expert work!Matt from Ewert s took my car right in when the warning light came on when I was driving to Chicago on I80. His shop is super convenient to find and his staff was friendly and helpful, especially Colleen! I felt I could trust the fair price of parts and service. The repairs were made in one day.

Went in for a simple oil change but came out as a lifetime customer! Great customer service, went through everything with me and the prices can't be beat! Especially with our present day economy! You have to love a place that does NOT try to upsell you.

Great place! Very friendly and courteous staff. Appointment began on time. Finished while I waited. Very reasonably priced. Will be my new mechanic now that I have moved to this area. Found them based upon the recommendation of others in the area. They were spot on. Ewert s is very good.

they sold me a car at aces. told me it was inspected/nothing wrong with it. I took it to get an oil change, found a wrench in the filter, transmission leak, bad brakes, bad rotors, tie rods need replaced and then I need an alignment. brought it to ewerts since Matt owns that business too. They said they would replace the tie rod, fix the alignment and the trans leak. but NOPE. They did replace the tie rod; however, the car drifts drastically right when it s supposedly been aligned. His henchman said when I came to pick it up, ah it still drifts to the right but it s alright. NICE, you inept dogs can t even do an alignment. AND the trans leak isn t fixed! Had my new mechanic replace the brakes and inspect their work. He took pics for me too! the seal Matt SAID they fixed isn t fixed! The seal they put on is nonexistent! The welding doesnt even cover the leak! mind you this all happened within 2days! I took it back to ewerts since they wouldn t call me back. Matt told me this is a brand new trans leak that just came about in 24hrs. Matt wanted to charge me again! He didn t fix it the first time! Just look at the weld job when I needed a new seal completely! Do not trust ewerts or aces or Matt! They are liars, don t do a good job (if they even do anything at all) and don t care that it s not safe! and they want to blame you and argue it s everyone else s fault. They ll take your money though! Will NEVER go back! Don t risk your safety they need to be shut down!

Ewerts Auto replaced the steering shaft on my 2013 Hyundai on 12/8. I had an important event to attend the next day, so despite their busy schedule, they ensured my car was ready that day. The dealership I usually go to could not get me in for almost 2 months, so I'm grateful for the compassion Ewerts showed and the quality service they gave for a reasonable price. Great people, great service. Highly recommend.

There s really no one else in this area that I would trust with my car issues other than Ewert s. They re always very timely, communicative, considerate, and informative. It s an added bonus that they keep their building clean and make it cozy in the waiting room as well. I have been going to this business for the majority of 3 almost 4 years and I haven t had a problem with them. Friendly staff as well! Thank you for all that you do.

Was going to the car dealership for my routine maintenance and it got to the point where I couldn t do the price gouging anymore but didn t trust any automotive shops since I just recently moved to the area.I went to where everyone else goes when in a bind. Google and Facebook. Ewert s Automotive kept showing up and the reviews were amazing. I am very satisfied with the service. Always the staff is amazing.I will keep bringing my vehicle to Ewert s Automotive and will bring all my family vehicles here in the future!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Right now I don't recommend this place. I've brought my car twice there to have the engine misfiring fixed. The first time it was still misfiring as soon as I left the place. The second time they fixed it initially but now it is starting to missfire again fairly frequently after only two months. I've also had them do a couple of things to fix my squeaking brakes. After assurring me that the problem was fixed yesterday, the brakes squeaked very loudly when I backed out of my driveway today!

Brought my truck to there shop. Almost needed a tow. They got it in the shop on the same day to diagnose it. The part was ordered and when the part came in it was fixed! Glad to have my truck back

Matt is a great mechanic and business owner. Treats his customers very well whether they are new to his services or returning. Fixed my truck for much less than what the previous mechanic squeezed out of me and Matt did the work correctly and was just great to work with. Good communication and staff. Will continue going back for all my auto repair needs!

Ewert's did the job right and left the inside of my vehicle clean. I've taken my vehicle in the past and they left the inside of my car full of grease and stained the seats. The people that work there are very friendly also. If I have another problem with my truck, I will have them work on it.

Over the weekend, my Eclipse broke down and stranded me in Minooka. On short notice, they cheerfully got me in for diagnostics and had me running again in no time. This week, Matt & his crew installed new batteries in both our vehicles, which went off without a hitch. I also had my wife's Grand Cherokee serviced. One of the great things that Matt does for his customers is send out an e-mail when it's time to have your vehicle serviced, either routine or more extensive mileage based service like for transmissions, four-wheel-drive, coolant, etc., which I really appreciate. Their work is ALWAYS done right and at a fair price. Simply put, Ewert's Automotive takes great care of their customers! You can trust them!!

We are traveling and this business was recommended to us by the local hotel. We arrived when they opened at 7:30 a.m. and explained that we had an a/c problem and we re going home to AZ where it is 110 degrees. They immediately took it in to look at it, and we were on our way within the hour. Thank you to Matt and staff for helping us get back on the road so quickly.

I am happy with my experience at Ewert's automotive. I came in with some vague information about a 'clunking' noise coming from my front end and they got me sorted out. I thought their prices were reasonable and the customer service was good. Highly recommend over going to a dealership.
