Hello everyone I just purchased my car from here and the people that work here are and is amazing you are treated as family not a customer they work with you and don t stop til they can get you in a car that s affordable for you and you are very happy I m glad I came here because everywhere else I went they told me no or needed a co-signer so if you don t believe me and you are in a need of a vehicle asap come here and give them a try you won t be disappointed at all I m truly glad I have my vehicle thank you for all that you have done and doing to the employees of Great Lake Autos 5 all the way with me..!!!

I bought an audi from here in 20/21 I can't remember which year. Of the 30 some cars I've had, this is definitely #1! I've been looking for the name of this dealer for the last couple years. I never kept any of the paper work I paid cash so I didn't have to worry about any financing issue's. I drove this car all the way back to Michigan with no problems. I'm not a fan of dealers but I am very satisfied with my purchase and may have to plan a trip to get another vehicle. They actually price their cars pretty good.

Great Lakes Auto House sold me a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox for $9000. They totally hid that the frame is totally rusted by stating that the rust was only inside the doors and that they would repair it. But in fact they committed fraud and a case with the Federal Trade Commission is being processed. I tried to purchase another vehicle but they stated that this vehicle is a great purchase. Fraud!

I wouldn't recommend this establishment for the Devil to do business with himself, thanks to the sales floor manager Destiny. My Brother purchased a vehicle here and faced an uncertainty where he was informed to retrieve his personal items from the vehicle that was now in the possession of the dealer, thats not a problem and understandable. The issue here was, when my Husband who has nothing to do with anything, arrived with his brother to the lot to obtain his personal items as informed by the car lot. Destiny called the local police and falsely made an allegation that my brother in law and my husband were breaking into the car/ committing a crime. This was so far from the truth, more then 3 police squad cars arrived, surrounding my husband and his brother making them fear for their lives for no reason at all. This could have been another incident that two black men being wrongfully arrested or worse killed. All due to an untrained and unprofessional representative of this establishment. I can't blame the officers because they were just responding to what they thought was a crime. However after carefully accessed the situation, they saw no crime was being committed so they allowed them to retrieve all items and continue to go about their day. We will be looking to take this further to be investigated regarding the laws of decrimination and false allegation as it relates to defamation of character. I recommend she is demoted and retrained or fired all together. She can be the cause of this dealership facing high law suits. She very unprofessional and ignorant.Destiny is the cause for 0 stars if i could do 0.

UNETHICAL SALES PRACTICES! BEWARE.My recent encounter with Great Lakes Auto House has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I felt compelled to share my experience to warn others about their unethical business practices and appalling customer service.Upon purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, I was excited about my new purchase, only to have my hopes shattered when the car broke down as soon as I drove it home. Seeking answers, I took it to a mechanic who discovered serious transmission issues, indicating that the dealership had sold me a worthless piece of junk.The real nightmare began when I attempted to return the car. The man from the dealership not only refused to take responsibility for the defective car but also declined to return my trade-in vehicle. To make matters worse, he displayed extreme rudeness and a complete lack of empathy throughout the entire ordeal.I believe that businesses should stand behind their products and provide excellent customer service, but Great Lakes Auto House demonstrated the complete opposite. They seemingly care more about making a quick buck than ensuring the satisfaction and safety of their customers.I strongly caution anyone considering dealing with this dealership to think twice. Their unethical practices, along with their disrespectful treatment of customers, make it clear that they are not to be trusted.

bought my daughter first car four years ago and returned 2023 for my youngest son who saved his own money to buy his first car! very very satisfied! every staff employee encountered has a level of service second to none, very helpful engaging and sincere! hats off to zack sam jose and destiny! feels comfortable and they are honest like real people. i never write reviews but felt this was warranted due to excellent service. feels like they have great cars and stand behind them proving you will have trust and not feel duped into any shady deal. great family organization highly recommend

Not even willing to sell a car to me. I was trying to communicate with this dealership for over a week regarding a Cadillac. No responses, not even willing to answer emails and when you call them their voicemail box is full. Horrible customer service and a bad way to do business I couldn't imagine trying to get ahold of them once they have your money! To top it off they have now lowered the price on the car trying to sell it for less when it could have already been sold. What a horrible way to do business.

After being denied multiple times for financing with my low credit. Great Lakes Auto got me in a 2019 and gave me many other options to work with my budget. I CANT THANK THEM ENOUGH

Do not buy a car from here. Bought a car with money down and the car seemed fine. No check engine light. I got it checked out the next day and it had a service code. I took the car back within three days and asked for my down payment back and they ve been giving me the run around. I went up there day after day and they called the police on me to leave. I now have to go to civil court to get my money back.

Let me say first, I ve been incredibly stressed looking for a nice, reliable vehicle. After visiting 3 other dealerships I impulsively stopped here after passing by. I can t begin to explain how much of the stress was lifted, they ve made my experience nice & smooth. Not only were the staff very kind but they give off a comfy radiance which was nice to have on a big purchase. I m in love with my new car, I m so happy I ve decided to stop in.10/10 will definitely recommend anyone looking to buy a vehicle here. I appreciate you guys!

I love this place first time goin and first time getting a car from them. All the staff members were very nice a salesman named zack was very nice and considerate and another guy black jose. The operation was very smooth and easy. One of the owners Mo was cool and nice also I told all of them I will be sending people here to their dealership and writing a nice review about them.I will be back to buy my second car!!!!!

Don t waste your time or credit. Dealt with (destiny) in financing in less than an hour was told my credit was locked as I got an email for a credit inquiry. After being told a completely different SSN and that my credit was frozen. Hung up on me twice after trying to clearify what happened to my credit . When requested to speak with a supervisor she claimed she is the supervisor. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE but loss is on them I was putting down 2/3 of the total car in cash anyways.

Great Lakes Auto Is The Absolute Best! I purchased a car so I can go back and forth to work from them 2 months ago, 2006 Corolla, runs great. The customer service was 5 STARS! The guys was great, very detailed about the cars.. The prices are GREAT!We plan on purchasing our son a car there for his 21st Birthday. This is our forever Car dealership

Don t waste your time!! I went in with a trade in and they definitely tried to get me!! Bad deal they are not paying off your previous loan like they tell people!! He wanted money out of me period and mind you I was already approved for the vehicle so then he tells me I can keep my car and still take the new one but who in they right mind wants 2 car notes?? Hmm this is sad because nobody wins when greed is the issue!! They can t sell cars under these types of guidelines and lie to customers! I m experienced at buying cars and I never had to put money down with a trade in!! The car was 15999 but he wanted to finance me for 20000 when I looks at the interest calculator it told me that it was 9000 in interest being hidden from me but the dealerships won t be honest about that its up to you to do the math when something doesn t add up and always take a man with you because women are being targeted because they think we aren t intelligent enough but sadly mistaken on their part! I was just at chevy in Homewood a few months ago and they did the same thing told me they would pay off my car but it was really being stacked on the new loan so unfortunately not a good time to buy anything because people are so money hungry right now that all you can do is pray in a world like this

BEWARE BEWARE. The Worse Liars Ever. Stole $7000. Finance Company said No way to the Upside Down Deal take the Car back. Took the Car back they wouldn t give Money Back.. Police said File Civil Suit. All that Money Gone Tied up Until Court. Great Lakes Auto Midlothian Gave one Price. Than Up the Price Double then what agreed. Please. Don t Spend Your Hard Money Here. Fraud Liars. Very Dishonest said Asst Manager got the Deal wrong. BEWARE BEWARE. RUN. DRIVE AWAY FROM HERE. ALSO. THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED. DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THIS PLACE BECAUSE UNFORTUNATELY I DIDNT. THE. BLACK LADY BEHIND DESK. HELPS THEM STEAL YOUR MONEY WRITE THE CONTRACT UP DIFFERENTLY THAN WHAT AGREED .

I went to 5 places before I stopped here and when I tell you I had the best experience I ve ever had and this is my 6th time buying a car. I got the price I wanted and a car with very low mileage! Staff was friendly and Moe was so helpful! I got a warranty and the car of my dreams. I highly recommend this place, If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

I rarely trust dealers cause there shadey but great lakes was different. I was in a real right spot cause I was in a car accident and they helped me get 2015 jeep compass for little of nothing cheaper theb other dealers. Vehicles works great almost like brand new. When I get my next vehicle I'm definatly coming back here. Love the staff also feels more like a family

In all honesty, I never write reviews. However, after my experience with Great Lakes Auto House, and the incredible customer service from Nuria, I couldn't speak higher of this small dealership. If you are considering buying from Great Lakes Auto House, I would recommend a friend to speak with Nuria. She will take care of you and make sure you are satisfied with your purchase.
