I was at the BP station next door today and pulled into truck fuel island to fuel. I m driving a huge Anderson Aspen Ariel truck and went to check the oil and saw most of my oil on the ground under the truck. I knew I was probably screwed at that point. I saw Britton s next door and walked in for help. I did not get the guys name but what a professional to diagnose the problem and get me rolling within :30 minutes. Thank you very much for great service and I know I ll need a tow down the road in my business so I ll be calling you for that.

Hit a metal object on the interstate at 4:30 AM and was stuck 6 hours from home. Britton's Towing was there ASAP!! Absolutely incredible service and spot on recommendation from the driver on what steps to take to get back on the road the same day. Thank you thank you thank you!

Joe is very knowledgeable and helpful in getting the truck back up and running. Had my wife and two year old son fighting the heat, but definitely not as long as it would have been if we went anywhere else to get serviced. Thank you very much for helping us out Joe!

They were very fast to respond. We didn't wait long at all. At the time of writing this, they charged $150 to tow from Vienna area to there garage in Metropolis. They kept the car secured in their locked shop. The driver was absolutely excellent. Very courteous and simply a nice guy. They offered my wife and I a ride back to Metropolis. Very pleasant experience for an unpleasant situation.

What a great shop. My girlfriend, my two bulldogs, and I we re on our way back to Tennessee from Illinois yesterday. The alternator went out on my truck and we were able to limp it in and randomly found Britton s. I called the number on the sign and a mechanic showed up within 15 minutes. Replaced the alternator and we were back on the road within 2 1/2 hours. We talked the whole way home how lucky we were to find such a great place willing to help on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks again!

Nice guys, towed me for less than stated over the phone. Driver was a really nice guy. He joked with us and made the trip more enjoyable. Well, as enjoyable as a broken down car could be. And then they let the car stay in their parking lot for free. I highly recommend these guys. Good deal, great service, friendly people and they took good care of us.

Brent is a really good guy. He came and jumped my truck. Really a huge help. Even after he jumped my truck. All around a good guy. I will definitely give him a call if I have any other problems with any of our vehicles. I will refer any of my local friends to his company. Thanks again for all the help today!!

I am the owner of Optimus Prime. I was invited to attend the Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois. Whenever I travel into a new community, I look for places that allow me to store Optimus overnight safely, as well as provide me with access to several things I need in order to get the truck in a presentable condition after the long drive.I was placed in touch with Brittons, and from the moment I arrived, they were absolutely incredible in every sense of the word. Not only did they provide the facilities I needed in order to clean Optimus, but they provided very safe and secure storage for him during non-event hours. Their staff, particularly Angela and her husband Larry, went far above & beyond in accommodating my stay while in town.After spending severals days here, it is clear to me that the folks who work here are not only true professionals, but they are family. They treat their customers with respect, honesty, and genuine customer service. I know if I ever pass through this region again, that I will make it a point to stop and say hello and just remind them how appreciative I am for everything they did for us.Thank you to the entire team, stay safe, and ROLL OUT!

If anyone ever Is in Paducah, Ky or Metropolis, IL, and need a tow or emergency service, call the amazing people at Britton's Wrecker Service Inc. in Metropolis. We had a belt tensioner pulley break on the bus while we were going down the interstate on our way back to Tennessee. It resulted in no power steering or power brakes. They were super quick to respond to us, and their driver Tommy was incredibly nice. He not only fixed the bus quickly, he also gave us a ride to O reilly to pick up the replacement part when they refused to deliver it to us (even though they were about two blocks away). Highly, highly recommend them, and are incredibly grateful for their help!!

After my car was disabled my insurance provider dispatched out this service. Not only did they show up before estimated they were extremely professional and definitely knew what they were doing. I don t remember the gentleman s name that helped but above and beyond. He made sure to ask what was wrong, and if I knew of places that could fix it. As well as good recommendations for places. 10/10 hope to not use them again, but if needed will absolutely be happy to be in good hands once again.Service: Car towing

Need a repair while in Illinois? Seriously call Britton's Wrecker Service Inc. for your service needs! Not only did Tommy come out on a Sunday at dusk to look at our bus; he took us to O'Riley Auto Parts to grab the new part when they wouldn't deliver it even though they were less than a mile away and they are permitted to deliver parts over short distances. The bus is fine, it was a belt tensioner pulley, and was luckily an easy and quick fix. Thank you again Tommy; you really saved us and the bus! My 4 year old son AJ also appreciated getting to see the largest truck he has ever seen, which absolutely made his night (and man was she a pretty truck!)

I was stuck on the side of the road Sept. 13, 2020 at 5:30am with my teenage daughter..I called roadside assistance and they dispatched a wrecker service who s driver, Larry, called me sooner than I had expected and arrived very shortly afterwards. He was very helpful with a mechanical diagnosis for my vehicle. Since it was Sunday and all mechanic shops were closed, he recommended the closest parts stores on the way for my wife and father-in-law to stop at. Larry even offered his assistance in fixing my vehicle or to give him a call in case we needed a tool. My daughter and I both feel like we made a friend in Larry. I will definitely recommend to family and friends as well as use Britton s Wrecker Service when in the area. Thanks again Larry!!!Lance AthearnService: Local hauling

I'm of the err where if a man says something that is what we agreed upon the boss man said $2, 400 out the door after they put the tires on my semi then I was told that I had to pay a 5% to use my credit card that is not $2, 400 out the door. A company is not based on when everything is going good a company is based on when there's a problem how they handled it I was told $2, 400 that's what I should have paid not $120 because I use my debit card that's not my fault that they didn't tell me that that's what should have been said be careful and get everything in writing.

Had a tire with a nail in it on my semi truck, they come in and patched it for me in probably less than 15 minutes. Did it for a reasonable price and seemed like good people.

Well let's see first off I was over charged by 50 dollars bc I was broke down 3.6 Miles from the place so it was suppose to be $75 and had to pay $125 and just for the driver to look at my car he charged me $52.50 for 10 minutes worth the work and then he was going to fix my car and decided bc it was going to take 2 and a half hours that he didn't want to do it so I had to sit outside the shop from 2pm til 11pm for my husband to get there and help me so I wouldn't recommend this place
