They know what they are doing. They did qualify work on my import. I know quite a lot about my vehicle. I can generally diagnose the issue I just don t want to wor on them any longer. The dealership estimates were ridiculous so I had them check it out. They fixed it for half the price and it runs perfect. I highly recommend. They will not take advantage of you.

I have heard good things about Metamora Motors from my networking group. My truck has been due for an oil change and I decided to give Metamora Motors a try since I would be reasonably close to them. I called and got scheduled with them quickly. I even arrived early for my appointment and my truck got serviced before my scheduled time. Great Job!

My car was stuck in a snow bank this afternoon and within 20 minutes a very friendly and competent mechanic with a flatbed tow truck from Metamora Motors winched my car free and I was on my way!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!

Had to have my car towed. They refused to tow it to the body shop I requested. Instead took it back to their business. 5 days later my car was still not towed to the place I requested. Which now requires a second tow charge now and 5 days of storage. Will never recommend or use again.

Made an appointment for the week after I called. Took it in on Tuesday, 8 am. On Friday afternoon, they still didn t know what was wrong with it and didn t have time to look at it other than a short time on Tuesday because they had a full schedule . I was without a vehicle for 4 days and paid $275 to not know what was causing my vehicle s issue. I was trying to support local small business. I will never take any vehicle there again.

Will not tow you re car where you want it to be towed. They don t send the invoice to insurance on purpose so they can collect the daily lot fee. What a scam. Don t use them because they will just take advantage of you!

I have used Metamora Motors a number of times over the years and been happy with their service. Last week, I took my car in for brake repair and I also needed an oil change. Apparently, and I say apparently because there is no way for me to confirm this, the threads came out along with the plug in the oil pan. They told me they needed $800 to put in a new pan. I was never allowed to speak to the owner, which is TERRIBLE business practice. They decided to meet me halfway and I *only* had to pay 400. This is so ridiculous. They kept telling me it wasn't their fault. Sure as heck wasn't mine. I had no way to confirm this story. I'm sure the shop has insurance to cover the technicians. I can't believe I had to pay for that mistake *with no contact from the owner*. Needless to say, I certainly won't be back.

This business is my go to for oil changes, always had great experiences. I recently had to take my car in for repairs to an insurance identified shop (not Metamora Motors). They ran into delay after delay and when I received my car it was still in disrepair after a month of work. When insurance gave approval to go to a shop of my choosing, I knew exactly where to go.Metamora Motors identified the problem and fixed it same day. They even went above and beyond to fix the esthetic issue of the fender liner crack the other shop ignored. The team there is friendly and knowledgeable. Could not recommend them more highly!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I'm the kind of person that likes to do things myself if I can. I started replacing all my brake pads and rotors when I broke two bolts. The bolts were in a difficult to reach position and I tried and tried to get them off. I spent several days trying to get them off. Nothing worked. I'm caring for my mother with cancer right now and have my own health problems so I realized I was in over my head. I decided to admit defeat and call someone. I'm new to the area so I read reviews and Metamora Motors had the best reviews on Google. I called them and now I can see why they have such great reviews. The owner's mother answers the phone and works the front desk and she is a sweetheart. She made me feel better right away and told me even though they were short staffed due to the pandemic that they could help me the following week. I brought in all my brake parts and they drilled out the bolts and finished the rear brakes for me. They normally don't take other people's parts and install them on but they helped me out. I will be going back any time I need service on my cars and I also will be recommending them to everyone. Locally owned and honest, you can't beat that.

Thank you for awesome service! They were able to diagnose my issue almost immediately from me bringing it in. Although car repairs are never fun to pay, it s worth the service I received. Thankful for heat!Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

This place is completely dishonest. My teenage son got rear ended while out of town in Metamora. The tow truck driver refused to tow it to my brothers house in Peoria- it was too far. They towed it back to Metamora motors, did not inform him of cost, had it Sat night to Tuesday afternoon, and charged us $475.I called the owner- that s the going rate , even though a tow is $85 otherwise. No informed consent we take your car, charge you $225 for a tow, and $50 a day fee. My son had no idea the fee, and the owner states-there is a sign at the shop.Last comment- just turn it into the insurance. Ever wonder why car insurance is this high with price gouging? Picture your teenager in this situation, this place is all about the$.

Had a great experience buying our golf cart. The owner went out of his way to find exactly what we were looking for! Polite, friendly, efficient & reasonably priced. Thank you so much Tom for the wonderful service!

I requested service that I didn't need and they made me aware of this and did not take advantage and perform unnecessary service. It's not easy to find a reputable, trustworthy car repair provider. Metamora Motors is exactly that place. I will surely be back.

The employees their are very friendly and knowledgeable. Ive used them multiple times and have been very satisfied with their work. They treat like a friend as opposed to just a number like the majority of the big brand companies. They will continue to have my business. Thanks Metamora Motors!

Metamora Motors exemplifies everything you're looking for in a business. They have exemplary work, an amazingly responsive staff, and they never try to cheat anyone out of a single penny. I have used them for numerous car repairs, a tow truck, and as a locksmith. They are fast, honest, dependable, and care about the community. I hope they stay in Metamora for a very long time.

I trust the guys at Metamora Motor to do simple to some complex work on my "family fleet = 5 drivers and vehicles". They have worked on exhaust, brakes/rotors, A/C, and replaced a few sensors. If it needs changing they tell you clearly, and if it doe not need to be replaced they will be honest and not try and upsell and take advantage. Example: Emergency brake on older maxima sticking, could have tried to sell brake job, etc. They told me it was a twisted Emergency Brake Cable, charged us $25 for labor and inspection - not $800 for brakes, rotors, etc. Highly recommend if you want local shop or want to avoid the Dealership prices.

I always try to support local businesses, and was happy to see that we had a place in town to get quality service and a nice selection of autos to buy from. My experience has been positive, and I will make a point to go here first for my auto service needs.

Stopped in for an oil change and mentioned my transmission fluid leak to the mechanic Don. When I returned he had fixed it for less than $50. Great service.
