Scammers, they don t warrant any parts. Paid $7200 for disc brake system, after 2 months one brake failed completely destroying rotor and caliper. Filip manager was delaying the answer and Merx main office just denied the claim. Never go there.

We wish there is 0 star rating we can give them!They were doing repairs on our trailer and they were not able to fix it . Coming back every week or two for the same thing and being charged over and over again for the same issue that they were not fixing is not a good sign. We were taking trailer back 3 times for the air leak repair ,were explaining to Filip that the issue still exists and we were using trailer for only a few days.He started screaming over the phone telling that is not his problem and that he will charge us if we come back . He will smile to you at first and make a false promises but at the end he will be waiting you with a receipt with a pretty big amount of $$ on it. We told him it s not a problem to pay for the repair but we don t want to pay for the same issue 3 times in a row!!!The other older guy Mike doing nothing all day , smoking, walking around and talking on the phone. This people are totally unprofessional and don t deserve your attention! Horrible mechanics that are not trained enough and that doesn t do anything properly !!! They don t do a good job and will not repair your trailer properly and they will waste your time, you will be coming back!!!BE AWARE!!!

Good service there is a parking lot to park your rig until you get called for your repairs & a lounge area for the drivers on the second floor. Bathroom & coffee while you wait.

Best shop in Illinois, I hope they expand more. Very ethical team, no hidden charges and lies. Ask for Filip, he takes care of your issues. They do everything, from paint job to overhaul of engines. Luis is great!

Took my truck in for some electrical work and oil leak repair, but no one touched my truck even after leaving it with them for 4 days, the receptionist took my details and told me to go ahead and wait in my truck, I waited in my truck for 1 hour 18mins and no one came to talk to me I went back in the office then they told me to leave the keys. Was I supposed to seat in my truck for four days?? I went ahead and picked my truck up and went to another shop where they took me in within 28 mins. I don't know how they got those many good reviews cause that is one of the reasons that made me go there and even a friend of mine had recommended this place for me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE the receptionist and the manager are unprofessional the other guy just drinks coffee and smoke all day.

Legit scam shop. They charged $57.50 for trailer lube. Regular oil change cost me $535 plus the entire waiting. Skip this place before they own you.

Merx Truck and Trailer repair is one of the best repair shops in Chicago. We have been using their help for quite some time and we are really happy, because of time efficiency, plus honest/good prices for all repairs. Mike from this shop has tons of experience with insurance companies and has helped us with several of accident trucks and saved quite a lot of time comparing to other repair shops. We use their service every week, I went and checked out their service bay area, really nice and clean with high standard quality. Drivers have a waiting area with some free drinks and TV. I really recommend this place if you want some quality work done with time efficiency, especially great for saving time when dealing with insurance adjusters. Thanks

Though I was getting the truck looked over, having a dyno done and unsure about truck before I made a commitment with the dealership I planned to purchase this truck from. Merx was very understanding. I was super happy with service did, but happy by the price told to pay in the end. Almost 2 years of these guys working on my truck they do their work with pride and they care about doing the best work they can as cheaply as they can . I wait to bring my work to them instead of taking it elsewhere. Mike the Big boss is always attentive and they never try to sell you something you don't absolutely need .They are so good I tell other driver's they should try these guys and compare....Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, Exhaust, Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

Very good service without trying to over sell unneeded stuff. Every time that my trucks had issues Mike (the manager) tried to find the best and the cheapest solution to get a job done and to save me some money. I use this shop when ever my trucks are in Chicago area and I ll keep using it in the future.

well..-take too long time to fix what can be done in hours-overpriced parts (that you can t control with how much they buy them)-I personally have to skip this this place for the next time for better prices and time saving reasons

Came with broken tire of my champion trailer,another rim was broken a little also,just got on their lunch time but in mean time they did all paperwork and after lunch a guy comes take my truck inside and in 30 min job was done without too much talking,what surprised me was price,for brand new tire and rim fixed they charged me 250 + 25 labor +20 tax so comes to 295 $ !!! That was very competitive price especially in Chicago area !!! Highly recommended !!!Service: Tires

If you are in this area I will definitely recommend this shop. Customer service 5+ Louis is the best allways he treating me good he has the knowledge thanks homie. After this shop my truck got way better

Good service,good peoples,bought 8 drive tires ,good price ,replaced for less than 2 hours.Another time was here with replacing of rear differantional seal,price was reasonable , was ready about 45 minutes.

Called them for road service. Front desk and Management very helpful. Manager called me explained the problem, they got ready to go help my driver then the driver was able to start the truck, and they understood and said we are glad he did start the truck and did not go.* thank you to Merx for all your help and whiling to help

Front desk awesome.I called for alignment and oil change.I asked her is it possible to take me in she said definitely come we ll help you.i thought she is trying give me B.S but I showed up she said I was waiting for you.She got all my information and started to service right away.

Great truck washout. But entrance is very crowded with trucks awaiting to be loaded next door to Merx truck wash. Kind of narrow entering and leaving Merx. Location needs a better entrance because it was nerve wracking snaking thru parked trucks to enter lot. Reasonable rate to washout trailer made up the difference. But this isn't your typical truck wash since it is primarily a private smallfleet business that is low volume.

If you own a truck you must have their phone number, this guy's are pros?. If your truck breaks down give them a call and they'll help you.
