The tow truck that Mel recommended was fair and on time. Mel provided a recommendation when we arrived and an estimate, and a time it might be done. We were able to drop it off at 9:am and he put in a new alternator and called me at 4pm to pick it up the same day. We were far from home and it was very helpful to be able to call Mel and get it taken care of in one day. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is if you need a quiet place to work or wait nearby, it s pretty isolated and the office there doesn t have a waiting area.

This has been my go to mechanic for several years.My mom and I and I just added my dad to the mix. Very good and Honest service here . Mel is a Awesome guy.

Horrible experience. Got over charged for a radiator. After them installing my radiator, while driving home I was leaking transmission fluid. They put damaged gaskets on the connections. One of the employees took it upon himself to move my car that was blocking a truck he wanted to move and after getting in my car without my permission he put a lot of oil on my cream leather seats.Worse experience everrrr. I wouldn t refer anyone to this place. The customer service sux. Mel talks with an attitude, he s not welcoming or appreciative of your money being spent. The one thing he did do was reimburse me for a different shop that repaired his mistakes. It takes a lot for me to leave a review, especially a bad one because I want to see all businesses do great however, we can t keep getting taken advantage of while spending our hard earned money.Good luck with this place.Service: Auto maintenance

I don't know what happened here, he came highly recommend, I was very excited to think I would have a great mechanic, though my hopes fell like a disappointing Christmas.When I arrived to pick up my vehicle it wouldn't start. Apparently for $1600.00 you get a used battery not a new battery. They were jumping the battery they put in my vehicle and I said."I will not drive this vehicle out of here only to have it stall on me; I am a woman and I just paid you, it needs to work!" The oil changed was never done, and some hoses that were to be replaced were never replaced nor checked. Mel told me he would check on the cost of the part and labor and he would call me later that evening, I am still waiting for the call.

Wonderful mechanics that you can trust. They stand by their work and charge what they say work will cost, even if it ends up going over the quote. I've trusted them with my vehicles for decades and wouldn't think of bringing any future vehicles anywhere else.

Mel and the people that were working there were very busy but I knew my brakes were horrible, I was terrified to drive and they not only got me in they got me in. They took me at the last minute and the very next day is when we got the snow in the ice. They took care of me and I will be going to them from now on. They even took me home and picked me up. They treated me like family!!!! This is the place to go!Service: Brakes

The guys at Mel's Car Care Center always do efficient and quality work at a fair price and will take the time to explain exactly what is wrong and why it needs to be fixed. They are always available for questions and are very friendly!

Mel is trustworthy and always gives you a fair price. Keeps my car going without having to invest big money every time I need work done. It's been about 7 months since ive been to this shop. I took it in to get my radiator fixed, brakes changed, car window fixed (motor and wires were shot), the driver door lock and a new CAT converter. I had brought all the parts needed to do the job except the window motor, wires for the window and whatever parts needed for the door lock. It ended up costing $1100... Since then my air conditioning hasnt been working. When i called to ask if he could check it for me since it might have been a problem on his end, since that's a common issue when doing a radiator, he then got frantic with me and was saying how it couldn't have been on his end and wanted to charge me more to run the air system test (call took place in around July and it was with Mel the owner himself). I refuse to pay more money on top of what i already spent so i wasnt going to waste more of my money and time going in there again. Since then the door lock is already getting jammed, window is already messing up again and my radiator is already leaking... The only thing that still works completely and that i havent had any issues with is the brakes... This was the absolute worst shop that I've ever had an experience with.

I've been coming here for over 18yrs the service and prices are competitive . They will even come to my work and pick up my vehicle and deliver it back to me the same day. They stand behind their word and have an excellent warranty. I would recommend someone that had an automobile &/or tractor.

If I need a car service, these are the people I always trust. Today I needed to have some completely rusted bolts removed from old turbo housing so I can use new bolts on it without damaging it and I knew who will help me with that - Thank you Mel's Team!

I wish I could give zero stars. This man Mel is a con artist. He pretended to fix my car. His gf recommended him to me. When it broke down I took it to a different mechanic. The mechanic said that mel scammed me and I should get my money back. mel denied he did anything wrong. Unbelievable. I don't want anyone else going through what I did. I was alone when my car broke downand I couldnt drive the car that way. I had to wait hours for help. I'm seriously deciding on taking legal action. Stay away from this crook.
