Never again and highly don t recommend. This group along with his other shop location on Lake st and 9th are a bunch of scammers. Always ask to see the work they do. I went in for a transmission fluid change (keep in mind I never had a problem with it, it was just for maintenance) and not even three weeks later the transmission as a whole broke down.. they re saying it was beat up when it never was. All i was doing was keeping up with the maintenance of the car.Service: Transmission

Honestly, I taught this mechanic was decent in all aspects , but after having a bad experience with my car issue I would never go back nor recommend this place. Do not go there , you ll be coming back in a week with same issue which never gets resolved. I cannot say any clear than this but just to say how disappointed I feel and also what a waist of money while my car still has the problem that was never resolved . Perhaps the owner should take accountability and improve its non certified mechanics .

I brought my car in with a pretty messed up front end. The hood was pushed back, grill off, and it felt like I needed the almost impossible done, but they did it! My baby looks brand new, they didn t charge much, and it was done in a pretty fast manner. Highly recommend them.

My family have been going to JD Auto Transmission over 15 years and we always received outstanding service. They prices are competitive with any full service repair shop in the Chicago area. If you are looking for a repair shop that could work on your car from bumper to bumper give JD Auto Transmission a chance.

Great mechanics! Just a little troublesome with language barrier,but work through it,it's a fellow there that helps with that,make sure they point out everything wrong and then decide which one is 1st , second,third no "oh what's this now that needs to be fixed?"Make sure all gets checked out!

I took my car for a minor rear left Collison They did a fantastic job I couldn't be happier, They have reasonable prices and the staff is very polite.

Very bad experience: owner gave me total for the paint service but when I tried to pick up the car, the total due was considerably more and I had to pay out of pocket to cover. Also, I asked them to check other issues with car but they never checked them and had to take it to a different shop afterwards.. 0/10
