Been going to discount tries for over 20yrs!First time visiting this new location!��The store opened since March 2023 so its brand NEW!!!The store is super clean for the obvious reason!I dropped off the car on a weekdays so it wasn t busy, the services was awesome!!obviously the place is very new!��Different locations, different employees but the same great customer services from friendly staffs!Free tires rotation, free flat repairs and one of a Kind customer service...Where do you find it! I been a customer well over 20yrs!

Appointment was scheduled for 4:00pm and they were ready to service my vehicle upon arrival. Eddie was extremely helpful in checking the current tread depth and condition of my winter tires in order to make a decision to store or discard them. My experience at this location was far more satisfactory than the countryside location. Eric (or Erik not sure) was also very helpful in transporting my summer set from a different location to this one. Overall based on the service I received here I will no longer be going to any other discount tire location. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes granted they were not too busy at the time. Importantly there was no noticeable damage to my wheels from mounting and balancing. Excellent service, highly recommended!

Had my car towed this morning to Discount Tire due to having some tire damage, they quickly got my car in and called me once they inspected the vehicle. Erick was very detail oriented with his explanation of what was going on with my vehicle. They wrapped up my service very quickly and had it all done within less than 2 hours! I was a bit late to pick up my vehicle, but Robert so kindly let me stop in real quick before close to pay/pick up my vehicle. Would 10/10 recommend this location to family/friends!

Guys, just a heads up, this store is a Discount Tire branch, not Chicago Discount Tire. So, don't mix them up!This store is opened March 2023 and it's brand spanking new. The place is super clean, like a watch store.It wasn't busy when I dropped in, and the service was AWESOME! The staff are friendly too.Definitely recommend checking this place out.

New location.Spoke to Robert on the phone and mentioned to him that I needed a patch. He said bring it by after work and he ll take a look. When I got there, I was greeted by Robert and Isaac. Isaac then walked with me to my car grabbed the tire with the nail in it and brought it in the garage. Spoke to me about if it can or can t be fixed he keep me updated while I wait. While I waited, Robert Brought me a bottled water and asked everyone else waiting if they wanted any.20 mins later, i saw Isaac outside with my tire and let me know the tire was repaired with a plug and patch for free.Asked me if I needed help putting it in my trunk and I politely said no thank you and placed it in my trunk. He said thanks for stopping in and have a good day!While I waited for my tire to be repaired I paid attention to how others were being spoke to and interactions, and all around everyone was talked to respect and their team was very knowledgeable about what was wrong with users cars and gave them the solutions to get them repaired, answered any questions people may of have and respected peoples cars as they pulled them in to have them inspected.Very good interaction with Robert and the team, i know now if I ever need any assistance with tires. This will be my first stop. Thank you.

Shoutout to ALLEN at discount tire for being so helpful and flexible with me today when I went in to get some work done! Was super patient and flexible while helping me out and made the experience and process unbelievably smooth! If you need any tire or rim services I highly suggest this location for their outstanding customer service!

Worked with Erik and had an amazing experience. I had left my car the day before because I had a puncture I had a feeling would lead to a flat. They took me in first thing in the morning, patched up my tire for free, and even rotated my tires! They were professional, courteous, and had me in and out quickly. On top of that, unlike other tire shops, they took the care to torque my wheels down instead of just going at it with an impact. Great experience!

Came here because my dealership said I had a nail in my tire and would need to replace it. I wanted a second opinion. Robert was so helpful and explained the tread life/wear of my tires. Turns out I didn t need to replace it and they were able to repair my tire at no charge, and I didn t have to wait long either. I definitely recommend this location and will come back for future tire needs!

I thought it was gonna be a positive thing when a discount tire opened in my area but they never pick up the phone and the last times I ve been there, their air machines weren t on, so I came all the way just to find that they weren t filling tires with air. Right now I m trying to call ahead to find out if they re doing air checks because the discount tire that is reliable is two times as far from me right now but they won t pick up the phone so I have no idea so I m just gonna go to the one in Lombard because they always pick up the phone and they re always reliable. I ve never been disappointed by them. I called the one in Lombard and they answered on the first ring. I got a canned message from the Melrose Park one and it played four times and no one picked up and I don t wanna waste time going to the Melrose Park location just to find that they re not doing air pressure today.

I recommend this store. I had my tires and rims replaced here today. Only took them an hour (just did walk ins). Excellent service and friendly. Really helped me choosing the best tires I can get with my budget, unlike other shops that will make you overwhelmed with information and overcharge you with the same tires or even cheaper tires and same service. Plus they have free services and warranties that will make you not worry about your tire problems.Great job!

My partner has been getting tires at Discount Tire for a while and when a bubble appeared on the front right tire, I said I would take it in to have it replaced. They are under the 50k mile warranty, only 12-13k miles were on the car since May 2022 when he got all the tires replaced.I chose a different Discount Tire, the Melrose Park location, as it is the closest one to us in the city. I knew of the warranty but didn t know the details. At Discount Tire, I was made to believe that only the tire with the bubble would be covered by the warranty and the sales consultant suggest replacing both front tires to keep it even (he said something more technical than that). I agreed and paid $321 for the 2nd tire.When my partner got home, he said that the warranty covered ALL of the tires and that I shouldn t have paid anything, at all. He called the corporate office and they agreed, we shouldn t have paid as we are still under warranty. They called the Melrose Park location and the manager tried to backtrack, eventually agreeing to a refund but we had to come in and they couldn t do it over the phone or from their office. This made it feel like they were hoping we wouldn t make the trip, and this would all go away.The manager was nice, however he only spoke with my partner and acknowledged him when we came in for the refund, though I was the one who was wrongly charged. I was only acknowledged when I had to use my card for the refund, even then the man processing it appeared annoyed.The automotive industry has not changed regarding honesty and respecting the customer, specifically women. It feels to be very much a boys club. If you are female, do you research and know what you REALLY need. If you have a warranty, memorize it. It is sad that in 2023, this type of blatant sexism is still so prevalent.We will stay with Discount Tire, but never return to this location. There are bad apples in every bunch.

DO NOT COME HERE!!Hi. I have profile tires on my sedan which is an issue when driving in the city. The tires constantly catch nails and get destroyed by potholes. I therefore had a warranty with discount tires. When I came in with low tire pressure warning, they didn't even want to take a look at the tire. They just offer me a replacement for $350.I decided to go to my local tire shop (Junior 's Tires). They fixed all three of my low pressure tires including a nail issue for $90, and gave me an offer to replace all four tires for $600 with brand new ones!!!

Took our car in due to a screw in a tire an hour before closing. Not only did they stay late to make side I got the car back, the plugged the tire for free. Top that off with very nice and professional staff that obviously care about what they do, and it s an unbeatable combo.

Eric at Discount Tire in Melrose Park was kind enough to fit me in last minute after popping a tire! I was out of the store with a new tire in less than 45 minutes. He was so kind and professional. I cannot recommend this location enough!

I initially wrote a bad review and I had to take it down because I realized I overreacted and the staff actually did a good job. I had an issue with my tire pressure sensors and I thought the staff did a bad job but after doing my research I realized that i overreacted and it s a common thing that can happen when getting tires replaced. It had been a while since I replaced them anyway and it s not even that big of a problem it s just I m extremely meticulous. So, rather than just taking my bad review down I had to write a good review. Thanks for your help.

Order arrived quickly, appointment was ready when I got there. Very helpful staff, answered all my questions and helped with anything I needed. Manager was very honest and told me one of the wheels I ordered came damaged, so they would be ordering one and installing at no cost to me.

It is super easy to shop online and schedule an appointment. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The waiting area was clean, and the service for replacing 4 tires was about an hour.

Super awesome experience here, I've been to a couple other Discount Tires (people who drive in Chicago know how those roads are ) and this was the best one!The building is brand new, inside was super clean. Alan was super helpful and friendly when I walked in, they had my car back in minutes and let me know that there was a screw and they patched it super quickly. Robert was also super polite and made sure that I had everything I needed. I was able to check some work things on the wifi which was super convenient, the bathrooms were pristine, and there was even a station to refill my water bottle! I was in and out in 20 minutes. Excellent facility and excellent service

Discount tire in Melrose Park was a true 5 star experience. Took care of my tire immediately. Had 2 nails and it was able to be repaired. Outstanding service with a personal touch. Clean immaculate building with great staff. Replaced my back wiper that had been stuck on for 2 years. Knowledgeable and efficient. 5 stars.

Terrible experience. Went in for tire installation and on the last tire they crossed threaded 2 of my studs. I had to wait 4 hrs for them to fix it and finish. And they don t even use a torque wrench for the lug nuts which they have , they just zip bolts with a impact gun.

I must say after being a repeated Discount Tire customer that my experience wasn't satisfactory today I paid $285 for 1 tire today ( which is expensive in my checkbook) after the employee Al asked for payment up front come to find out they didn't even reset the sensor I asked to ask them on the winter time this is important but maybe it's the location because I didn't experience this at Oaklawn-might be back or I will go to the new popular tire shop in Melrose Park

Very fast service, very friendly staff. Not sure why it's so difficult to find them on google maps, comes up as Melrose Park Tire Shop, but it's the Discount Tire chain. Just had 4 tires replaced and balanced. No wait. Much better and quicker service than the one in Lombard. Highly recommended if you don't want to wait an hour past your appointment time.
