I m thrilled with the service from Mario and Ismael! I ve had my tire light on for a few days, even after my sensors were checked at Costo two days ago. The issue was resolved but today(two days later), the light came on again. Mario came outside, took his time, checked and rechecked sensors, and voila! Like magic! No appointment needed! Problem solved, except engine light came on Mario told me to come back IF engine light is still on tomorrow. Service with (literally) a smile. He made me feel at ease knowing my tires were ok. I LOVE these guys at Costco Tires at Melrose Park!

They need help here. Seems understaffed. Very slow just to get tires inspected, and they would not take tire off rim to check for rim cracks or corrosion. Desk service is erratic. I love the prices and the low cost install but I will have to try another location for service

Made a 12 noon appointment for a tire rotation. Arrived 15 minutes early as suggested and checked in. Was told they were a little behind but looked like they would be able to start a little after my scheduled time. Checked back at 1:00 and was told that they had not started but I would be the next car in and it should be ready in 45 minutes to an hour. Told if I couldn't wait I could make another appointment?? No guarantee I have any better luck. At this point don't see the benefit of making an appointment or of a free tire rotation if the total wait time with an appointment is over two hours. Costco: this area is a huge disappointment compared to every other part of your business.

Costco in itself is great. The tire shop, not so much. Like others have said, the wait time is far more than what you expect or what you are told is going to take. My advice is to go with two cars and assume the job is going to take twice as long. For this reason, I no longer buy tires from costco for my personal vehicle.

Got my tires here . After reinstalling I started getting weird noises . Got a low pressure sign yesterday , and wanted to come to this location to have them checked it out . Was said to wait more than a week for appointment? Isn t it crazy ? This is how Costco tire center appreciate their customers

Was told to make an appointment for my tires which will take an hr at most to do. Arrived before my scheduled time to wait 15 mins in line so they can take people with no appointments, (COSTCO what is the reason for APPOINTMENT then) they called me an hr and a half later to tell me my car is NEXT (although I had an appointment) 3 hrs for tire change with 6 employees walking around pretending they are working. Unacceptable.

My car tires were only available at Costco and Stealership. Costco price was way better so I ordered tires online and came here for service. Great place! Employees are extremely busy so they do not cheat chat with you but they did a good job. No issues, fast service.

Turn around time isn't remotely close to what they project. They will have your car for at least 6 hours to change 4 tires.

Aside from the prices and a few really good employees, I think this place is terrible. I should be more specific and narrow my issues down to the managers I had issues with. Left my car in a state that me driving unsafely with my children in the car, even though I repeatedly told them they failed to address the situation. When bringing this to their attention, the managers had the nerve to try and place blame on me! Absolutely ridiculous!

Arrived for a scheduled appointment for a tire exchange, waited almost 2 hours with a small child and they didn't even do anything! asked to reschedule for another day! Disgusting! terrible service!

I had my tires changed plenty of times and never had to wait 2 and a half hours before. Usually 20 to 40 min. I was told 1 hour or 1 hour and a half the latest. Ugh.

They do a good job, but it takes them some time to do it. Make sure you have another car to take you as it will take 3-4 hours over the weekend and around 2 during the week.

They don't call you when your car is ready. I explained I had been sitting there waiting and no apologies from the workers just "I'm sure we called you." Unbelievable. Don't waste your day like I did and go anywhere else.

They the staff in the tire center, are very curious and professional, they put my tires on in reasonable time and I had to return one time for a little problem, they fixed it in no time. Costco in Melrose is the place to buy tires.
